Great
GGuest UserClean, social and well located EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night. There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) — very comfortable in Berlin winter. Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes. Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back. Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

AaprilsafariVery good core location, no noise. The room is high, the design is reasonable, with a separate bathroom, dry and wet separation. There is a cabinet with a door card lock in the room, which is very safe. The front desk helped us arrange a room with a girl in the absence of a girl's dormitory according to our requirements. The garden is great too, everything is fine anyway! Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe location is great, being very close to the MTR station, which is convenient for transportation. However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved. If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

AAlvinMAAI stayed at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz and overall had a pretty good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the heating in the room was excellent — the space felt warm and very comfortable throughout my stay. The hostel’s common areas and facilities were also quite nice. The only downside was the cleanliness inside my dorm room. Some roommates didn’t maintain good hygiene: they sometimes ate food inside the room, talked loudly on the phone late at night, and even left the bathroom unflushed. I also ended up throwing away plastic bottles left behind by others. This wasn’t the hostel’s fault, but more about the behavior of certain guests. Aside from that, the hostel itself is great, and I would consider staying again — hopefully with more considerate roommates next time.

AAnonymous UserI lived in an all-girls dorm. The facilities and cleanness of the hostel were alright. Staffs were pretty friendly too😊 Yet I really couldn’t stand how there was only one bathroom on the floor I lived in (with two dorms on this floor), plus, the bathroom is the toilet and shower combined. This means anytime someone is taking a shower no one can use the toilet… quite inconvenient imo. side note: there seems to be no air conditioner in the rooms, it can be hot in summer.

BBeijitadeweixiaoIt was okay, I guess. I've stayed at this brand before in Europe, and it usually attracts a younger crowd. This time, though, checkout was before 10 AM, which I knew. But the staff member came knocking on my door at 9:11 AM to rush me out to clean the room. It was really annoying, like shooing someone away. Don't customers naturally check out on time? If I go over, you can just charge me accordingly. I don't know if this was the hotel's policy or just the staff's personal habit of being lazy. Why are you rushing me out 40 minutes early when I haven't even gone over time??

ひとり旅1good point Walking distance to major tourist attractions well cleaned and clean Laundry (washing and drying) can be done for 5 euros bad point There is no kitchen and no place to wash water bottles etc. dark corridor Elevator is narrow Hairdryers can be rented without a deposit. There is no kitchen, but there is a water server next to the reception. Other word of mouth said that there was noise, but I didn't feel it. Wasn't there a group of students staying? Maybe luck. It's a large hostel, so I think it would be difficult if the toilet and bathroom were in a far room. This is also luck.

GGuest UserThey provided a late check-in which was super convenient. The room was quite cosy and the bed could be small for a huge person (bunk-bed in a 4 person dormitory). For me, it was perfect for a few hours of sleep. The bathrooms and washrooms are shared and accessible separately outside the rooms. Very clean and comfortable stalls for a nice shower. The breakfast didn't have a lot of vegetarian options and it was a small spread, but enough for a quick bite in the morning. The staff is all helpful and friendly. Overall a good stay for a short time and on a budget. The location was also very convenient to reach from the S bahn and tram station.
