Cheap Hotels in Berlin

"Close to the station. The air conditioning was nice and cool. There are no laundry facilities at the hotel. Breakfast is available at the counter for 13.5 euros per person. The service attitude was good. They only provide one small bottle of 3-in-1 shower gel."

"The hotel is located in a very good place near Alexanderplatz and has good connections. The staff were polite and kind. My room had a nice city view. But the hotel has some weird rules such as we have to reserve for room clean every day and they won't clean the room regularly that I could not figure out why Hotel management made that rule. Also they just provide water for the first day as welcome gift and after that we have to buy."

"Friendly staff along with a varied breakfast choice. Great location close the U2 metro station, which will take you from one side of Berlin to the other. Excellent restaurants very close for some tasty meals if you’re tried and need something convenient. I recommend Weingrun and Bellisima."

"Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin was extremely easy to find upon my arrival to Berlin Station. Immediately upon entering I could tell that this hostel had a certain kind of relaxed vibe to it. Not bad. If you arrive early and want to lock your bags but don't own a lock, you can rent one for a 10€ deposit. Check-in also requires a 10€ deposit. Both can be paid woth cash or card but when they return it upon departure, they will only give it back as cash. I was assigned a capsule on the first level and first thing I encountered was a guy walking in hit Itty bitty skivvies. Um, ok I guess. Again, relaxed vibe. The capsule was okay only with the door open. Close it ans it's like you're in a coffin. Hot, hot, hot, and very little air circulation. I brought that to the attention of thr front desk staff and later a guy told me that ”the motor is running” so the fan is working. I took video... the motor may be heard but it def was not working. Felt like I was sweating buckets on night 2. Glad I didn't stay an extra night. Bathroom were relatively clean, byr toilet paper was not always installed. Also, ask for a towel if needed b'c it's not automatically offered. Breakfast is 10€ and was mainly vegan. Was not worth the cost imo. Anyhow... most staff were chill. Just don't like the low effort that was put in for checking about the fan in my capsule. There is no point in booking a capsule if you need to keep the door to it open to breathe. Anyhow... of that issue was fixed, I would stay again."

"We booked this hotel in advance for our Bruno Mars concert at The Olympiastadion and to explore the City of Berlin. The location is amazing for couples, solo travelers and families. Everything is at walking distance, and there is always bikes available to rent. Using the bike every monument, restaurant and shopping mall was reachable in 15 minutes. I also was pleased that during our stay they put the World Cup on the big screen, was a lot of fun. Definitly worth its price!"

"The location of the hotel is pleasing, it is a 6-minute walk from one of the major S-Bahn stations, Savignyplatz, where you will also find lovely cafes, bookshops, local supermarkets, resturants and bars. The neighbourhood is quiet, and people are friendly. One complaint I would have is tthat he escalator from the ground floor to the first floor (the reception is on first floor) is broken, and it could be quite confusing for travellers with bulky luggages and not knowing where to look for a lift."

"Cons - 1. Too much of an „The Office“ vibe. The lobby and the building are very modern. However, the corridors and rooms look like they are from the early 2000s. The bathroom looks especially sad. Pros + 1. Great location. You can buy groceries and eat at the train station (This works even on Sunday in Germany). 2. Also, it is very easy to get to any part of Berlin. 3. Delicious breakfast. The food is very varied and tasty. Wonderful staff. Special thanks to the hotel staff and managers. They were very understanding of our special situation. Thank you."

"I stayed here as a base for exploring Berlin. The location was absolutely fantastic, with super convenient transportation links. It's really close to Berlin Central Station, the city center, and even a shopping mall directly connected to the station that has a supermarket, which was really handy. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance."

"The location is quite convenient, not too far from three different metro stations, about a two-stop bus ride away. It's about a 20-minute drive or metro ride to Museum Island. If you buy a 24-hour Berlin transport ticket, you can basically travel seamlessly. The breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty. There are plenty of free parking spots in front of the hotel at night, and it's not usually too difficult to find one. The room was very clean, and although there was no air conditioning, the two golden dragon floor fans actually made it feel even cozier. The price was also quite reasonable."

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The service was warm and attentive. I forgot to bring USB chargers, and the staff proactively lent me two. All my requests were responded to promptly. The location is unbeatable, just next to Berlin Central Station, making it extremely easy to travel around the city. Definitely recommend."
