Scenic Hotels in Berlin

"Very disappointing experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 12:45 with our family and an exhausted child and asked whether it might be possible to access our room a little earlier if it was available. We fully understand that the official check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, the hotel knew that we had been sitting in the lobby waiting for almost two hours with a very tired child, yet no effort seemed to be made to prioritise our room or find any solution for us. What made the situation particularly disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or consideration. We were not demanding something unreasonable; we were simply asking whether, given the circumstances, the room could be made available slightly earlier. We were also going to check out very early in the morning, meaning that we would not even benefit from the official check-out time until 12:00 noon. For a hotel of this standard, I expected a much more welcoming and customer-oriented approach. Small gestures and a little flexibility can make a significant difference to a guest’s experience, particularly for a family travelling with a tired child. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us feeling that there was very little interest in helping us or making our arrival more comfortable. On top of that the room wasn't fully clean. "I stayed here as a base for exploring Berlin. The location was absolutely fantastic, with super convenient transportation links. It's really close to Berlin Central Station, the city center, and even a shopping mall directly connected to the station that has a supermarket, which was really handy. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance."

My room didn't have an electric kettle, but there's a lounge next to the front desk where you can get free hot water from a dispenser, right next to the paid coffee machine. They also have paper cups, so I took some back to my room to make tea and miso soup!"

"The environment is super comfortable and the location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. We stayed for three days, and the room was bigger than expected. The hotel has an eco-friendly approach, so rooms aren't cleaned daily, but you can easily schedule it in advance through their website. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Right next to the train station, I was worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't at all. Plus, you can just grab breakfast at the station. All the attractions are easily accessible by public transport, and for the price, I feel like the room was worth it. While it might just be a standard business hotel back home, the overall stay was pretty good."

"The location of the hotel is pleasing, it is a 6-minute walk from one of the major S-Bahn stations, Savignyplatz, where you will also find lovely cafes, bookshops, local supermarkets, resturants and bars. The neighbourhood is quiet, and people are friendly. One complaint I would have is tthat he escalator from the ground floor to the first floor (the reception is on first floor) is broken, and it could be quite confusing for travellers with bulky luggages and not knowing where to look for a lift."
