Nice Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Maison des Barons. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful French décor, and the location is perfect—close to the beach, shops, and a great bakery. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the best part was the staff, who were so welcoming and friendly. We loved every minute and would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Very convenient location of the hotel. Friendly staff, the first day there was no hot water, we contacted the reception and our problem was solved in 30 minutes. If you arrive before check-in time, you can leave your things in the storage room and go to the embankment to sit in a cafe. We will definitely come back again.

It's a family-run place, so if you're concerned about security or safety, make sure to use it It was a very, very kind place. The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily. The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type. As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe. Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again.

The location is excellent, very close to Promenade des Anglais, and a 5-6 minute walk to Nice Beach. There's an induction cooker and microwave, and other cookware and tableware are also provided. A bowl of hot noodle soup in the morning is enough to soothe a Chinese stomach after eating white food every day. Remember to bring your own condiments. Check-in and check-out are completely self-service; I didn't see a single staff member during my three nights. There are free umbrellas, beach mats, and beach towels available for rent in the hallway, which is very convenient. There's nothing more authentic than taking your own gear and enjoying Nice Beach.

Хорошее студенческое общежитие, но и как о ель очень классный, чисто, хороший район, все рядом, прекрасно провели в нем время, заселение бесконтактное нудно заранее связаться с отелем чтобы было письмо на почте с номером вашей комнаты.

Room is clean, however the heater only work on day 1, the next day it is not working but luckily the weather is warmer

The hotel facilities are showing their age, and the bed wasn't exactly new. On the plus side, the room was clean. As it's an apartment-style room, it comes with a stove and utensils, ideal for guests who enjoy making their own breakfast. A major plus is the spacious balcony, which offers views of the beach – conveniently just across the road. This really helps to compensate for the room's older condition.
