Albert 1er

📍 4 Av. Max Gallo, Nice
★★★★ 9.1 (115 reviews)

"Good location near old town. The service was an issue though. Asked for another blanket since it was chilly at night and wasn’t given one. Asked for the front desk to please inform the cleaners we want the room serviced they said they can’t do that and to go walk up stairs and make sure there is no tags hanging from the door knob. There’s also one elevator in the building. Old school elevator too that fits at most 4 people. More so a 3 star hotel then 4 star."

Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel

Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel

📍 6 Rue Sacha Guitry, Nice
★★★ 8.6 (236 reviews)

"The hostel was clean and neat, and the room size was quite good. However, my experience with the night female staff member was very disappointing. She was quite rude and clearly needs to improve her customer service skills. It also seemed like her English was limited, which made communication difficult. She did not provide any basic information about the hostel. I had to ask everything myself—whether there was a kitchen, gym facilities, room directions, and even which floor my room was on. This was honestly very strange and not what you expect when checking in. She also did not give any information about nearby attractions or places to visit. On the positive side, the morning staff member was much more helpful and guided me about buses and trains, which I appreciated. I would like to request hostel management to pay attention to staff training. Hostels and hotels are important tourist points, and guests spend their hard-earned money to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Staff behavior and guidance play a big role in that."

Residhome Nice Aéroport

Residhome Nice Aéroport

📍 455 Prom. des Anglais, Nice
★★★ 8.7 (247 reviews)

"Great location, value for money. Have to throw rubbish ourselves and have to pay extra charge for cleaning the room, as we stay for less than 7 days though."

Hotel Saint Georges

Hotel Saint Georges

📍 7 Av. Georges Clemenceau, Nice
★★★★ 8.3 (93 reviews)

"Staff are friendly and great location! Cleanliness and room service is not the best and the shower system is poorly designed leading to water overflowing in the bathroom. I’d only recommend to those as a last result or vacationing on a budget"

Best Western Plus Nice Cosy Hotel ★★★★
"Overall, the hygiene, service, location, and price were all quite good. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's very close to the train station, making transportation convenient. However, because the hotel is a bit older, there's a stuffy smell in the hallways, and the loud slamming of neighboring doors can disturb your rest. The hot water is also inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold."

Albert 1er ★★★★
"We stayed at Hotel Albert 1er for six nights in June 2026. The location is excellent — close to the beach and an easy base for exploring, if a moderate walk from Nice-Ville station. On that front, I’d happily stay in the same area again. Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell short. The lift was out of service on arrival, and the lobby was under refurbishment for the duration — neither of which we’d been told about beforehand. Access was via a temporary side entrance surrounded by hoarding. The room was the bigger issue. Street noise was loud enough to disrupt sleep, the bathroom had no ventilation and steamed up within a minute, and the shower base leaked, leaving the floor permanently wet. We reported the leak on day one and were told it would be fixed the next day; it never was. The room also lacked basics we’d expect at this price — no coffee facilities, robes, or adequate storage — and the sink drained poorly and had loose, failing caulking. The TVs blocked streaming apps, and satellite channels were French-only with no subtitles. Breakfast didn’t justify the cost: buffet-only with no table service, and food quality was poor — the scrambled eggs left both of us feeling unwell, and we found hair on the pastries one morning. The staff were pleasant throughout. But the overall experience felt like a hotel refurbished to a budget rather than to its guests’ benefit — noticeably below the standard of every other hotel we stayed at along the Riviera. On value, I couldn’t recommend it, and there are plenty of better-run options nearby."

B&B Hotel Nice Aéroport Arenas ★★★
"I had a truly wonderful experience — everything from the moment I arrived to the moment I left exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a warm smile, which made the entire stay feel even more welcoming. The location itself was ideal — conveniently situated close to everything I needed, whether it was restaurants, shops, or public transportation. It offered both comfort and convenience, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting the area. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free stay!"

Ibis Budget Nice Aéroport Promenade des Anglais ★★
"Very close to the airport and the price is good, so it's a great choice. The room was a bit small, but since I didn't have a suitcase, it was perfectly fine. If you have a large suitcase, it might be a headache. You have to go downstairs to borrow a hairdryer."

"It’s okay, the reception looks dark and unwelcoming at first glance but the staff was helpful. We can change the room as their 4th floor can’t be accessed by lift. Overall Good and functional well otherwise"
