"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was definitely the owner; she is incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me in renting an electric scooter, which made exploring the area so much easier. The property was spotlessly clean, and the location is very convenient. There is a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was very handy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service, this is it."

"Our 1st trip to Kinmen, so happy that we picked this place to stay. The B&B is only a bit more than a year old. Nicely decorated. Modern. The hostess helped us arrange the scooter rental and taxi/tour driver, better price than book direct. The room is spacious, the bed is huge (M3), the location is mins walk to restaurants and attractions in town. Definitely would recommend this place."

My three days in Kinmen were so relaxing. Next time, I'll pick a sunny day to come again! And I'll definitely stay here again; this place is genuinely great!! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)"

Very exquisite and warm homestay ～ The beautiful environment makes people feel happy. The service is also quite intimate. The plants in the homestay are carefully designed and planted by the boss himself. The breakfast provided is also quite exquisite and rich in local characteristics. A wonderful stay experience! I hope Chen Jiayuan will get better and better. I will choose to live here when I have the opportunity to go to Jinmen again! 🫰

The boss and the proprietress are very kind. From the pier to the drop-off, the hotel also has a battery car rental (the car is great and beautiful). Yesterday, the room was full. The room was beautiful and clean. There was a little smell in the corridor. There was also a leisure area. At night, watch the moon and the stars outdoors. Have a free coffee, eat a free jam toast, really comfortable, people and hearts did a very good charging! Wait for me to come next time (lucky to see the blue peacock 🦚)

The homestay is in a great location. It is very convenient with a 7-11, a Family Mart, and a supermarket nearby. About 10 minutes walk to the town center and bus terminal. Many restaurant choices in town. The owner of the homestay provided a free ride to the Kinmen-Xiamen ferry pier, which was wonderful as there are only taxi services available on the island. Uber does not operate in Kinmen

I really loved the old-world charm of the 88 Gu Yi Gu Zuo B&B. ❤️ The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was comfortable and unique, really giving a feel for Kinmen's traditional Fujian-style architecture. The proprietress was kind and welcoming, always happy to help with anything, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kinmen who wants to experience the beauty of its traditional houses. The 88 Gu Yi Gu Zuo B&B is truly worth a stay! They are a chain with 9 different themed guesthouses in Kinmen, so I'll definitely be back to try another one next time.

This trip to Xiamen was arranged via the ”Mini Three Links” from Kinmen. The Kinmen itinerary included 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation at the Kinmen Shimei Resort. The facilities and services were excellent (a triple room had 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen). A special commendable aspect was the breakfast service; the chefs and staff provided detailed explanations on how to heat the food to enhance its flavor. It showed a genuine dedication to serving guests (this embodies the spirit of Kinmen – hospitality and treating tourists like family and friends) – truly admirable! The only drawback was the resort's remote location (far from Kinmen city, the airport, and Shuitou Wharf). Improvements in facilities and services are needed – such as free airport shuttle service and discounted taxi/motorcycle rentals. These are just my personal opinions, suggestions, and thoughts; I hope they are helpful. Finally, I wish everyone a happy, safe, and enjoyable trip!

The room is much larger than expected. It also has a double bed, a sofa and a kitchen (but I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know if it is useful). The only small problem is that there is noise in the room. Research results show that the wall is next to the elevator and there is noise coming up and down. No wonder it is recommended to put earplugs in the room. Travelers with sleep disorders can ask at the front desk for a room with no noise. Others are OK. The service attitude is friendly and the breakfast is simple but different than some B&Bs that offer walk-in breakfast or a minimalist breakfast wall.

The room was very clean and tidy, and this homestay was really comfortable! First of all, I have to praise the aunt. The people are super nice and very warm and thoughtful. From check-in to departure, they are very meticulous. They will also take the initiative to recommend delicious and fun nearby, as kind as the elders at home. Besides hygiene, the room was really cleaned spotlessly, the bedding, floor, and bathroom were very clean, and I lived in peace of mind. The trip to Golden Gate is because this homestay has a lot of points, and I will definitely stay here next time.

The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen.

Nice little hotel not too far from the city and right next to the beach. The room is simple but cozy and has a balcony (that is shared with the neighbours room). The walls are very thin so you can hear everything that is happening in the hotel. Wifi wasn't reaching our room very well - not suitable for work or streaming. The owner is kind and helpful.

An extremely comfortable, albeit not luxury hotel. Extremely clean and managed by a very friendly and helpful staff. For me, it was a great place to get away from the nearby Xiamen and enjoy free internet. Maybe the choice of dining in the vicinity is not exceptional, but I managed to find a cozy noodle place, managed by some local Kinmen residents who nevertheless spoke some English. Finally, a great value for money. Highly recommended.
