The only episode was that the room suddenly lost power on the first night of stay, and the room change process was a bit cumbersome, but the front desk responded quickly and upgraded the room type as compensation. It could be just this once, but I don't know if it's the person I'm sharing the room with, but the room smelled really bad, so I was thinking of staying a few more nights in Izmir, but I escaped as soon as I finished my stay. The shower room is a bit small and all, but everything else was okay, but the room smelled really bad, and the pillow and blanket smelled like it had seeped into them, even the ones I received when I first got them. It could just be that it happened when I stayed there, but I'm worried so I don't think I'll go back. Still, everything else wasn't bad, and there were a lot of cute cats.

Initial thoughts were apprehensive as we walked through the fish market but as soon as we turned the corner there was no smell at all. Very handy to all shopping. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with rooms upstairs fronting a balcony that you can sit on and watch the inner courtyard. Lovely ambient non-intrusive music during the day with a live three piece band playing in the evening. Again we did not find the music intrusive. Staff were very professional and obliging. Would definitely stay here again. An easy and flat 15 minute walk to train station and an easy flat walk to Konak pier and clock tower.Basmane train station takes you right to the airport train station in approx half an hour then it is just up the escalator and turn right for a minute or so.

I liked everything. The only thing was there were a lot of people at breakfast. Otherwise, everything was fine.

No elevator, close to the airport, warm welcome electronic screen, I lived in the parent-child room, one big bed, two small beds, but the parent-child room did not have air conditioning, and the big bed had air conditioning. The sink is not very convenient, But the rocking chair is very comfortable!

We only stayed here for one night but thought it was amazing and great value for money. the staff are so hospitable and helpful & there’s amazing spaces to hang out in the hotel. Room was clean and comfy. The bartender Yasin is great fun, provides an excellent service and makes you feel so welcome, it was nice to briefly get to know him. Breakfast is incredible and so fresh.

Location is good close to shops and restaurants. Rooms are fine but still need improvement : no light switches or charging ports near the bedside, which was inconvenient; Toilet paper holder was loose or not properly installed ; Housekeeping didn't replace water and slippers on next day. Curtains also cant close fully due to sizes of curtain smaller than window/door and loose from 2 sides. no receptionist on arrival, no help with parking/ unload luggages. Arrival day parked a little far along hotel street and 2nd day we had to pay 200 Lira for parking.
