I had a fantastic stay here with my friends! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been better so convenient for exploring the area. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and helpful staff. The amenities were great too everything we needed was available, and we really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend it for a group trip!

We stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!

We had a great stay at Napoli Hostel and would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in Cat Ba. Gem the owner was super helpful. She was able to help get our laundry done in 3 hours. The room was just has described, very clean spacious main area with separate bench area by the door for our luggage and to put on shoes. We didn’t need the mini fridge but appreciated that it was available in the room. There was a small desk area to do some work or put on makeup, that was a nice touch. And we were surprised at how good the drying mechanism in the wet room (bathroom) was. In such a wet climate that was nice to have. The room came with a small balcony outdoor area in front of the room but we also did not use this. Lastly breakfast had many nice options, from western to local. It comes with many drink choices as well. Overall wonderful experience and value for money.

Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Flamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

The hotel is located in a fantastic and beautiful place, in a small village surrounded by mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The rooms meet all the basic requirements, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the food is delicious.

Clean. The room has toiletries and a kettle. You can get drinking water in the kitchen. Beautiful surroundings and fresh air. Mountains, birds, butterflies. Two large windows with a great view! The hosts are friendly and speak English. There's a cafe right in the hotel with a decent selection of dishes and reasonable prices. You can book excursions and transfers to get to the city. You can also rent a bike. Be aware that taxi apps don't work on the island, so you'll either need to rent a bike or book a taxi through hotels or hail one on the street. The hotel is quite far from everything. The only major downside is the poor soundproofing in the rooms; you can hear all your neighbors very clearly.

The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.

The room itself was new, clean, and very comfortable, with a strong WiFi connection. The mattress was excellent, and the bedsheets were soft and cozy, making it easy to relax. However, the pillows were a bit too low, and unfortunately, no extras were available when we asked. Communication with the property via messages was smooth, but the reception desk was often unmanned during the day, making it hard to get in-person assistance. A few issues impacted our stay: - The desk chair was peeling, leaving debris on the floor (and sticking to our clothes) every time we used it. - Housekeeping only came once during our five-night stay, which was disappointing. - Early morning construction noise. Drilling and building work started very early, disrupting our sleep. While the room itself was great, the lack of maintenance, inconsistent housekeeping, and noise disturbances made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been.

Завтрак с не очень большим выбором, но вкусный и можно найти что-то, чтобы не голодать. Бар наверху с небольшим выбором, но даже если коктейля нет в карте, то можно заказать микс на свой вкус 👌 Еду в кафе попробовали совсем немного, но то что приготовили - было супер 🔥 Бассейн был очень уж холодным, но чистый и не перехлорированный.
