"The room is starting to show its age, but it remains very well maintained, functional, and thoughtfully equipped. Everything worked as expected, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
In-room dining was on the expensive side, but the portions were surprisingly generous and good for sharing.
The only downside was the road construction right next to the hotel. The noise continued throughout the day and sometimes into the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it did affect the overall experience.
Other than that, everything was great and I would happily stay again."

RRobin Greenthumb (DocGreenthumb)I had an amazing stay at this clean and spacious 2 - bedroom apartment. It was the perfect choice for our trip with two couples. Everything we needed was right there in the apartment, making our stay incredibly convenient.
The location is truly outstanding. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. We could easily grab a delicious meal or pick up essentials without having to travel far.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling in a group of two couples. It offers a comfortable and hassle - free experience.

GGuest UserStayed here for 2 nights. The place was quiet and relaxing, especially compared to the busy center of Cat Ba. The room was simple but clean, and the pool was a nice bonus after being outside all day. There’s also a small garden area that’s really nice for chilling in the evening, though there were quite a few mosquitoes, so bring some mosquito spray. Staff were friendly and everything went smoothly overall

GGuest UserOverall, if there are any issues encountered, the hotel manager will respond quickly and take appropriate action. For example, when I mentioned that the WiFi signal was weak and unstable during check-in, the hotel manager arranged for a room change. Upon inquiry, I discovered that the room allocation and distance would affect WiFi reception. The hotel staff then suggested that for future stays, I could make a note requesting a room with better WiFi reception.
This stay from October 3rd to October 9th was also quite good. Unfortunately, my wife and I only learned about the hotel's structural issues on October 7th, and since my wife had too much luggage, we didn't want to change rooms again. We will be staying again soon in the future.

AAlstonNgohGreat stay at Sheraton Hai Phong Hotel. The hotel was very clean, and the location was convenient. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The gym and swimming pool were excellent, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The service staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming. The front desk and bell staff were also very professional and courteous. Overall, it met the standard I would expect from a Marriott hotel, and I was not disappointed.
One small area for improvement is the bathroom ventilation. The exhaust fan was not very strong, and sometimes there was a slight smell in the bathroom when the air conditioning was not on.

丽丽映萍踪The location of this hotel is really good. It has a private beach, two outdoor swimming pools, and a coastal plank road, which is picturesque. The boss is Taiwanese, which is good. But the bed in the room is too hard, the pillows are very high, there are only one-slip slippers, oh my god, it's all bruises, I can't sleep well at night, it won't work, please improve it quickly.

GGuest UserFlamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points.
During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.

CClarissa PastorWe had a great stay! Our room was huge with a beautiful view and even a bonus of a sunset. We had a mini fridge, hairdryer and a kettle. We stayed at room 801. Our hotel manager was amazing and gave us lots of tips. Plus he sells tours too which made everything much easier. We booked the 1 night 2 day cruise.
Breakfast was delicious you have choices sweet or savory and we got omelette with veggies and a fresh baguette. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
