An Unforgettable Stay at The Sanchaya Bintan – A True Paradise! Our recent vacation at The Sanchaya, Bintan was nothing short of fantastic and excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the touch of luxury and care that defines this exquisite resort. A special mention must go to the superb team led by Greg Williams, whose attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout our stay. Under his leadership, everything ran seamlessly, and every guest was treated with exceptional hospitality. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yani from Guest Relations, who ensured our every need was anticipated and met with grace and professionalism. Her warm demeanor and thoughtful gestures truly made us feel at home. A huge appreciation as well to Joanne from the F&B team, whose impeccable service and cheerful personality enhanced every dining experience. She made each meal a pleasure, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And of course, our sincere thanks to Chef Budi, whose culinary creations were absolutely divine. Each dish was a masterpiece – a perfect blend of flavors, presentation, and freshness. He made dining at The Sanchaya not just a meal, but a memorable experience. We stayed with our family at the Kawaland glamping resort for 3D,2N. We had a very nice experience. The staff were sincere, hard working, friendly and courteous with all our needs. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and explained to us about the Indonesian cuisine. All the food that we tried at the restaurant was good! The glamping rooms were comfortable with spacious bedroom and bathrooms. The beach was only a walking distance from the resort & it was clean and beautiful. They also had swimming pools. We also had a good experience using the BBQ pit with the help of staff. We were also able to try the movie night with the projector at the beach bar. One area that could be improved is: During warm weather, the roof panels and the room interior gets quite hot. The AC alone was not sufficient. So it may need some other solution as well to keep the room comfortable. Otherwise, we had a chill, happy vacation at the resort! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cassia. The single beds were super single, comfy and spacious. I loved the private beach shared with Homm and Banyan Tree. We went before the long weekend started. So there was no crowd and we got to enjoy the beach mostly to ourselves and with other family guests. The tide was mostly calm and sea shallow. It was therapeutic for my 5 year old just to be in the sea water bobbling with the calm waves. Breakfast was tasty especially the local dishes. Staff was always friendly and smiling. It is a 5 star stay with a superbly reasonable price. I’m so glad I chose Cassia. Thumbs up to the staff during our stay and the reception lady for remembering my daughter’s name. For those who are fearful of the island heat, take note that breakfast is served in a non-aircon restaurant. But that’s the whole idea of a beach holiday!

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

Cleanliness of the rooms was okay. They had a bathtub but the water was either brown or green and it seems that the hot water supply is limited as it’s hard to fill a tub of hot water again once you’ve done it once. Also, you can only turn on the hot water from one source, then other water sources will be cold, which was quite inconvenient. There’s only one restaurant there so food options are limited. The nearest food area is a plaza that’s a 5-min Grab ride for about $5 or a 30-min walk that is bug infested. Plaza had many food options so that was good. The free breakfast was not very good. Bread and cakes are stale, and the food options are repeated and limited as well. We did try the private BBQ which seems to be pretty new for them, it was slightly expensive ($40) for the amount of food and variety provided but we tried it for the vibes. Staff there were very friendly and on task, and responded very quickly to requests which was good. Overall the room was big and spacious, while being quiet so we quite enjoyed that aspect. The stay was pleasant overall but there’s some room for improvement in terms of water source and food option.

Amazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

The room is great but could have been a little bit more cleaner, especially the steps of the double deck bed. Small snacks left there. But overall it is a great deal with big and clear TV & aircon that is working well. The breakfast is not bad too, quite a variety for the price. So far it's worth it. Looks exactly like the photos.

Suitable for honeymooners here.quiet and nice scenery if we booked a room which is on top of the hill.there's buggy services to and fro from lobby to room and room to restaurant.all staffs there are friendly and polite. M.Arvin the receptionist is very helpful and can rely on whatever guests needed.he recommended us to a nice seafood restaurant which is not really far and he even drive us to the restaurant after his duty.price also reasonable as we could get fresh live seafood.really a nice person M.Arvin. De Bintan Villa located quite far from shops.so my advice is do shop whatever you think you need before arrive to de bintan villa.

Location is a slightly out of the way as compared to the bintan resorts area, but not an issue if you hire private charter for the day. The resort pods are very new and uses great technology. Love waking up to the amazing view!
