Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Prices in Beihai are really reasonable; we were very happy with both the food and accommodation. The dessert shop and seafood place recommended by the concierge were absolutely delicious and not expensive at all. We'd love to come back next year!

The service was thoughtful and very welcoming, and the room was bigger than I expected, spotless, and completely odor-free. All the amenities were there, and two entire floors were dedicated to entertainment facilities and fitness options, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were super helpful, recommending local eateries and must-see spots, and even helped us plan our travel itinerary, which saved us a lot of hassle.

Let me start with the good: the hotel is located on Guanling Mountain, the lung of the North Sea, surrounded by green trees, facing the sea in spring, and the environment is excellent. The hotel is a manor-style small building with exquisite and unique structure, spacious rooms, high ceilings, no sense of oppression, and a large balcony outdoors, where it is very pleasant to watch the mountains and the sea and bask in the sun. Disadvantages: The room facilities lack maintenance, the wallpaper is bulging and has black spots, and it feels very shabby. The balcony wooden floor is old and rotten, and has not been updated and maintained in time. The balcony door is also seriously deformed and difficult to close. The building has a closed lobby management, but there is no welcome service and no ventilation. After entering, a moldy smell is pervasive and it is very unpleasant. Five-star location, five-star framework, five-star room rate, but there is no five-star service and five-star quality, which needs to be improved.

I only realized I needed to bring my own toilet paper and tissues when I went to the bathroom. I don't know if the hotel didn't provide them or forgot to. 3. I found two or three clumps of dried glue on the sheets; the staff said it was glue residue. 4. The only good thing about the hotel is its super convenient access to the beach; the beach is right outside the back door. The downside is that the boardwalk leading to the beach is a bit old and in disrepair.
