GGuest UserThe room is very warm inside, but hard to find. In a building with more than ten floors, the entire building should be rented out like this. Others have signs on the elevator entrance and security booth on the first floor, but this one It didn’t fail, especially when my daughter and I got off the train navigation downstairs at ten o’clock in the evening. There were no lights around and it was very dark. The two of us almost ran away. At that time, I was really afraid that we had fallen into a scam by bad people. Fortunately, we went to the security guard to ask. After getting an overview of the situation, we called the store and we moved in with some trepidation. It must have been renovated and the equipment was very complete, including a kitchen, refrigerator, and washing machine.

There is a convenience store next to it, and there is a vegetable store that is very convenient for shopping. The boss is enthusiastic and will arrange a pick-up and drop-off from the pier. The seafood is also delicious. The hammock in the yard is very comfortable, the sea breeze is blowing, refreshing, and will recommend friends to live.

LLawcchThis was my second time checking in for this new homestay. The boss is very kind to pick me up from the Beihai jetty after I returned from my trip to Weizhou island. The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. He was also very responsive when I requested slippers and clothes hangers. This Homestay hotel is strategically located near the silver beach. I strongly recommend travellers or tourists stay here to see the beautiful homestay place and the boss is also kind enough to allow cooking in the kitchen. I also did my sweet and sour pork and chicken meats in my first 2 days stay here. I gave the boss and this homestay place considered 5 stars for the best value for money.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, just like in the photos and promotional videos. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Great value for money. You can rent electric scooters to tour the island. The owner was incredibly warm and generous, offering excellent shuttle service and lots of practical sightseeing advice. They also offer seafood preparation services at a fair price, and the stir-fried dishes were generously portioned. We bought some seafood back and enjoyed it with drinks in their courtyard – a truly wonderful experience.

EEdmund GerardIt’s a perfect spot for visiting Beihai. You get amazing value for money. Quality room and a lot of space too , as well as a great location close to shops and railway station. Beach isn’t close but it’s easy to reach with DiDi. No issues with getting around town either. Great power shower, good a/c , bed is comfy, and the soundproofing works! A negative is SMOKING! Even though it’s covered in no smoking signs it still happens. Rooms can fill with smell of next door smoking or some ignoramus walking along the corridor puffing away. It’s an issue for most hotels due to the high number of smokers in China, but if they enforced fines consistently then maybe it would stop more doing it. Having said that , I still use City Comfort because the POSITIVES massively outweigh that single negative. No frills. Just delivers on quality at a value price with good staff.

GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights and the dishes cooked by the chef were so delicious. We went to the seafood market to buy seafood and had it processed at the B&B. We ate at the B&B for three days. He took us to buy seafood with favorable prices and good quality. We all praised the taste. Before leaving, he also packed two servings of salt and pepper mantis shrimps. The processing fees were also clearly marked. The beautiful lady at the front desk was very friendly, answered all my questions, and was also very familiar with the island's projects and transportation. Except for the small bathroom in the room, everything else is fine. There is also free pick-up and drop-off service to the pier. GGuest UserI booked the Caiwei room, which was quite good in all aspects. I went there during the off-season, and I was satisfied with the price. The boss was easy to talk to, and it was quite close to Beihai Silver Beach. Other reviews said there were mosquitoes, and there were indeed, but I turned on the air conditioner and lit mosquito coils, so I was not bothered by mosquitoes when I slept.
