HHonghongdefengjingrijiThe check-in process was very comfortable. We stayed in a house with a yard on the first floor. The room was clean and tidy, but I don't think it was necessary. It would be better to stay in the garden room in front of the swimming pool. The price is cheaper. There is afternoon tea, which is exquisite and fresh, and breakfast service, which is clean and hygienic. We were picked up at the pier and received a small collection of shells and conchs as a delicate gift. The most surprising thing was that I took life-like photos during the free photo shoot offered by the hotel. The photographer lady understood me so well. Love it, already set as wallpaper!
The hotel has small electric donkeys for rent.
Shiluokou Beach is right downstairs from the hotel. I regret not taking a good walk there.
Cons: The lights in the hotel are too dim. Hot water takes a long time to drain. The hotel is not too close to the Sports Park, Nanwan Old Street and other centers

GGuest UserPerhaps due to the Spring Festival and the island location, the rooms were relatively nicer than some other guesthouses in the area. However, the bathroom was hard to describe. It wasn't dirty, but rather it had accumulated grime over time, making it look quite uncomfortable.

Ssummer072079The hotel is very clean and has a great environment. It's within walking distance of Silver Beach and Chao Diao Square, and nearby restaurants and Wanda Plaza are also very convenient. The front desk service was excellent, with a smile, patience, and courtesy. Any questions were quickly addressed. The room was spacious and clean, with two sinks, a smart toilet, and a wide variety of breakfast options. A wider selection would have been even better. The hotel also has a laundry room and an outdoor seating area, which was a nice touch. Cookies and candies are also available in the lobby. The infinity pool is beautiful and the water is clean. I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.

GGuest UserAlmost all hotels on Weizhou Island offer warm service. Changfeng has its own dining area where you can eat in or have them prepare food for takeaway, which isn't usually available at regular guesthouses. The romantic beach dinner is great value for money with no minimum spend or forced consumption – something that would cost at least 1588 RMB at Jiao Shi to even set foot on the beach for dinner. If possible, definitely opt for a sea-view room; you can just lie back and enjoy the beautiful ocean vista.

Ffree****The hotel's location is super close to the Guizhou Road seafood market, within walking distance. There are shared electric scooters right downstairs, which are really convenient for exploring the old town.
The hotel service was excellent, really great, and they even upgraded my room.
The monk fruit tea in the lobby was delicious.
The smart control system in the room was very convenient.
The only slight downside was that it was a bit noisy downstairs with people singing.
Homestays in Beihai can be hit or miss, so having hotel service guarantees a better experience.
It was great, I'll definitely come back again.

LLEOW KIAN WOONI had a fantastic stay at this北海海悦. The location was near to Beihai Railway Station convenient and central for major attractions. There are little dirty spot marks at the carpet and other then are well-maintained. The housekeeping staff ensured fresh towels and toiletries were provided daily. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. There were two washing machines and two dryers that were free to utilize. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

From its location and facilities to the service, everything perfectly met my vacation needs, making it a hidden gem right by Silver Beach.
The location is truly unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to the core area of Silver Beach, making it super convenient to walk barefoot on the white sandy beach and watch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel's back door leads directly to the scenic area entrance, saving you the hassle of commuting. It's only a 5-minute drive to Qiaogang Style Street, which is incredibly convenient for enjoying seafood stalls and Vietnamese snacks. It's also close to the International Passenger Port, making it a stress-free option if you plan to visit Weizhou Island. The front desk even kindly shares tips to avoid common pitfalls and travel routes.

Facilities:
The hotel has a good number of facilities, but many were closed or unsuitable for use during the off-season. There's a popular parent-child water park and other family-friendly spaces, as well as an art museum, a museum, and a giant screen cinema. There are also many dining options, though the per-person cost is quite high.
The room is quite spacious, with an entryway garden outside providing a washing machine and drying area. There's also a balcony with sea views.
Cleanliness:
Stayed for 4 days, and the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly enough. The public areas, however, were well-maintained.
Environment:
The entire hotel has an artistic ambiance, making it feel like you're staying in an art museum. It's very photogenic within the resort. Staying in a sea-view room, you can enjoy a combined view of the river and the sea, offering a wide and beautiful vista.
Service:
Overall, there wasn't much in terms of service. Each day, we received one complimentary 'Luojing Commune | Good Morning Coffee' (Americano or latte). When going to the gym, I didn't encounter anyone who greeted me on the way.

Parking is convenient, and the receptionist, Xiao Jian, is very helpful and introduced nearby tourist attractions. It's great value for money; I'd extend my stay for two more days. Highly recommended!
