GGuest UserIt was a very pleasant experience. I checked a lot of homestays online in advance and finally chose Yunsu. I was very nervous when I first got to the island and headed for the hotel. After arriving, I found that both the environment and the geographical location were completely beyond my imagination. The boss's wife and boss were very welcoming. On the afternoon of the first day, the boss's wife was worried that we would be ripped off when buying seafood, so she specially arranged for the restaurant's chef to accompany us to the seafood market to buy it. She was very considerate. The overall environment of the homestay is very good, and the decoration and various supplies in the room are very good. The geographical location is also very advantageous. On the left is Fangdao, and on the right is Kafka, a popular hotel. Yunsu has the best value for money. The beach is two minutes downhill from the door, where you can go fishing and swimming. On the left is Dishui Danping, and on the right is Shiluokou. Very convenient. The food in the hotel’s restaurant tastes very good. It is very convenient to just buy the seafood from the market and process it. It was a perfect trip. I will choose Yunsu again when I go to Weizhou Island next time. Highly recommended!

I specifically chose a quiet place with beautiful architecture; their building was particularly lovely, with a quiet little courtyard and a swimming pool that really appealed to me. If you love taking photos or have a family with children, this place is perfect. The rooms are spacious and very clean, easily accommodating a whole family. There's a clothes drying area, slippers, and an elevator. They even provide small bottles of shower gel—something most hotels offer. The service was quite good; they even gave me a fridge magnet when I left, so I didn't have to buy one. It's also very close to Silver Beach and Qiaogang for delicious food—a really convenient place.

GGuest UserBefore the start of the trip to Silver Beach, I did a lot of strategies, but it was inevitable that I fell into a trap. On the first night of staying in Silver Beach, I stayed at another homestay. The restaurant I recommended to a family of four spent 1,300 yuan on seafood meals. Fortunately, I + my wish before. The fan group of Brother Zhou of the homestay, as an envoy of justice in Beihai, in order to maintain the tourist environment of Silver Beach, Brother Zhou communicated with the merchants until after 12 o’clock in the evening, and received a refund of 200 yuan for the meal in the early morning. The mood at that time was beyond words , I immediately decided to choose Wuyuan B&B to continue my stay. It was raining heavily the next day, and Brother Zhou came to pick us up. I was amazed at once. The free upgrade to the superior double room is great, very warm, and even the quilt is full of sunshine Taste, I also took us to the seafood market and had two super delicious seafood meals. The two meals added up to less than the price of the first night. Come to Beihai Silver Beach and live in Wuyuan B&B. Brother Zhou will take you to fly ! The above are all real experiences, leaving Silver Beach today for the return journey.

DdundunmamaThe homestay is a unique presence on Weizhou Island, full of Moroccan style, the decoration is extremely chic, the color matching is very distinctive, very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. There is a small swimming pool in the yard, suitable for children to play, there is a separate dining area. The room was clean and hygienic, as if going to the Mediterranean. The proprietress was very hospitable and gave a lot of help and suggestions. She helped us rent a good battery car, helped to charge, and also provided a reasonable travel route in combination with the weather. There are slippers in the homestay to borrow, and it is most convenient to wear slippers on Weizhou Island. You can also wash clothes and dry clothes. There are delicious Weizhou Island specialty bananas to welcome guests, and there is a big black dog Li Fugui to send guests. Weizhou Island is also very fun, very happy day and night.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

Following the route the boss told us, we reached Silver Beach in less than 10 minutes. I sincerely recommend it. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel where you can swim in the afternoon. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! We stayed in two rooms for three nights and had no regrets. By the way, there is a place to dry clothes on the second floor, which is very convenient. There is also a special smoking area.

From the warm and efficient check-in process by the receptionists Xiao Gao, Xiao Jing, and Xiao Jiao, to the thoughtful housekeeping staff tidying up the room and replenishing amenities, everything made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities, and the bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly all night. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to get around. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it!

SShanxisuisuipinganIt was a very satisfying trip. Because it was the off-season, there were not many people on Weizhou Island. We could quietly feel the sea breeze caressing the island, the waves washing the beach, and the sound of boats in the distance slowed down time. The owners of the B&B were also very enthusiastic. Not only did they upgrade our room at a low price, but they also provided us with sea-catching props for free. The young lady and grandmother were also very enthusiastic and often came to help. They also gave us homemade refrigerator magnets. The food made by the chef was also very delicious. I enjoyed the food accompanied by the sunset, and there was a big rhubarb guarding my mouth next to me. I really hope to stay in that moment forever.
