Guest UserI decided to travel to Weizhou Island temporarily. I didn't expect much from Weizhou Island when I booked the hotel, but the weather is very good these days, so Weizhou Island is still very popular!
This hotel is right by the sea. It is a newly opened hotel. The design is very distinctive. There is a Nanyang style. The suite for 4 people is set. There is a private pool on the roof. The first floor is a separate bedroom. The second floor is also a separate bedroom. Each bedroom bed is directly facing the sea. Every day, the blue sea is opened, too healing, the third floor is a private pool, you can achieve happy water play.
There are also two large swimming pools on the roof of the hotel, which is very healing to watch the sunset in the pool. It can be achieved directly lying flat in the hotel. There is also a banana garden behind the hotel, which is very popular for taking pictures, and it can also lead directly to the beach for about 3 minutes.

This was by far the best homestay experience I've had while traveling. The service was absolutely top-notch, with a dedicated butler providing personalized assistance throughout my stay. Any request I had was met with an immediate and effective response. The room was clean and tidy, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea, a late-night snack, and a delicious and refined breakfast. The mini-fridge in the room was stocked with a great selection of free snacks and soft drinks. The hotel's location and environment were also excellent, perfect for photos, and offered a fantastic spot to watch the sunset over the sea. They provided free shuttle service to and from the pier, and even gave me a farewell gift when I left.

TianruiHighly recommend the pool access room! You can literally step out directly into the infinity pool – the experience is absolutely incredible. From booking to check-out, their response time was unbelievably fast, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help, no complaints whatsoever. The room even came with a thoughtful welcome package, including a fan, mosquito repellent spray, mosquito repellent bracelets, hair ties, a sun umbrella, and aloe vera gel – you can take it all with you! The breakfast menu changes daily, and you can order whatever you like. Afternoon tea and bedtime stews were delicious and could be delivered right to the room. The mini-bar was fully stocked with drinks, beer, sparkling water, and snacks, so there was no need to buy anything ourselves. Every photo taken at the hotel turns out stunning – 100% Instagrammable!

I have never made comments, but I came here specially to make a comment this time. The hotel environment is very good. It is my first time to come to Weizhou Island for New Year's Eve. I don't want to mention the scenery. The hotel booking this time was very successful. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and make you feel at home. There are special cars to pick you up wherever you go. No matter where you encounter problems on the road, they will help you solve them in time and help you plan your travel route reasonably. If you come to Weizhou Island, I recommend staying here. Due to the temporary change of the itinerary, I stayed one more night and delayed check-out until 16:00. I was really touched.

The room has an amazing view; I could watch the sunrise and sunset right from my bed. It was clean, well-equipped, and the service was thoughtful. The sea-view balcony was perfect for photos. Great value for money, I'd definitely choose this place again next time. Housekeeper Xiao Ma provided meticulous service, was kind and polite, and genuinely took care of me during my stay. Full marks for the experience!

First off: The facilities are great, definitely living up to its reputation as a top family-friendly hotel. It's right by the beach, with an excellent location and comprehensive amenities.
However, the service staff left a bit to be desired.
1. When checking in, I asked how often the pool water is changed. They immediately said daily. When I pressed for specific times, they couldn't answer and later called back to say it's continuously filtered. Their attitude was good, but the answer felt overly perfunctory and dismissive.
2. The check-in guide stated breakfast hours were 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM. However, when I went at 9:40 AM, they were already clearing the hot food section. The restaurant staff told me that 10:30 AM is only for weekends, and it's 10:00 AM on other days. This misinformation significantly impacted my experience.
3. On the second morning, even with the hotel fully booked and me waiting for half an hour for a table at 9:30 AM, they started clearing breakfast around 10:10 AM. It felt very rigid.
4. When my room was cleaned for the extended stay, I found a discount coupon for the buffet dinner. However, when I asked at the front desk, they said it wasn't open and was only available on weekends. Yet, when I went to the restaurant that evening, it was open as usual.
5. During both check-in and check-out, no one asked if I was driving or needed my license plate registered. Consequently, I was stuck at the parking gate when checking out on the third day.
6. The second day's complimentary fruit platter was being delivered to other rooms while we were out, but we didn't receive ours when we returned.
7. The air conditioning was excessively noisy and couldn't be adjusted for temperature or fan speed; it was just an on/off switch for centralized control.
8. When I ordered takeout, the delivery driver said a hotel robot would bring it. After waiting over twenty minutes without receiving it, I finally went to the takeout shelf to pick it up myself. My cold drink was almost warm by then.
Oh, and one more thing: the Haagen-Dazs ice cream scoops at the afternoon tea, while not expensive, were full of ice chips when served. My child, who loves ice cream, ate it for two days like that...

Maybe the location is not the best on the island, most people will choose to live in Dishui Danping or Shiluokou. Because of the public welfare concept of revitalizing the rural economy, choosing to stay in this field house is really the most pleasant experience recently! Must give five stars!
As soon as you enter the door, the fresh and rustic decoration style makes people shine. The front desk with coral characteristics of Weizhou Island, the individual decoration paintings on the wall, and the scattered green plants are placed. Every detail is full of natural atmosphere, and the hustle and bustle of the city is isolated.
The dishes are not to be said! Five-star chef, help with the New Year's Eve dinner of more than a dozen family members, full of weight, seafood is large, delicious, and cost-effective.
The service is also very intimate, fast response, help rent a car, help contact the whale chasing, help recommend travel photography, etc. The recommended surrounding delicious and fun, are very distinctive. One-to-one butler-like service makes people feel the enthusiasm and beauty of Weizhou Island.

Guest UserWeizhou Island Giant Whale Hotel | Absolutely Divine! This is what an island vacation should be like.
Initially, my first day on Weizhou Island was a huge disappointment! The weather was gloomy, and the seawater wasn't as clear as I'd imagined. Other islands I've visited before were much more enjoyable than this one. I complained the whole way, my mood hit rock bottom, and I even thought this trip was going to be a disaster. That is, until I checked into the Giant Whale Hotel – I was instantly and thoroughly cured, feeling like all the previous frustrations were worth it!
I have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team! From the moment we arrived on the island, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, and there was a dedicated transfer car waiting for us at the pier, so we didn't have to squeeze into crowded transport or figure out directions ourselves. They handled our luggage and check-in perfectly. Any questions we had for the concierge were answered instantly, with patience and enthusiasm. They also provided super practical travel tips, which was much better than just wandering around on our own.
What touched us most was that during check-in, the concierge learned it was my wife's and my wedding anniversary, and they upgraded our room type for free! The new room had an absolutely stunning view; the entire floor-to-ceiling window framed the seascape like a painting. The 65sqm space was spacious and comfortable, and the sea-view bathtub by the window was incredibly romantic. Soaking in the bath while looking at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. The details in the room were also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, SMEG kettle, and capsule coffee machine were all available, and the mini-bar was stocked with snacks. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay.
The hotel environment is truly spectacular; every photo turned out amazing! The mirrored infinity pool blends perfectly with the sea level, and at sunset, the entire pool turns orange, making for incredible photos. The cliffside garden is surrounded by greenery, with a gentle sea breeze, which is incredibly pleasant and not crowded at all – so quiet and perfect for a vacation. There's also a professional photographer who helps guests take pictures for free, finding the most beautiful spots, and the original photos look great straight out of the camera.
Now I genuinely feel that the Giant Whale Hotel is the best on Weizhou Island! The service is incredibly thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the stay is comfortable, elevating our entire trip experience to the highest level. If you want a comfortable stay and great photos on Weizhou Island, you must choose this place. It's definitely not a disappointment, and I'll stay here again next time!

Guest UserGuantouling is a bit out of the way, so if you're not staying at a hotel here, I wouldn't recommend coming. If you're at the Sheraton, everything you need is right there. The beach is very close, and you can rent electric scooters at the entrance to ride to sights like 'Hai Ku Shi Lan' (literally 'sea dry stone rotten', a scenic spot) and Sunset Beach, which are all nearby. A suggestion: the customer service at the entrance is a bit poor; no one helped with our luggage. We had to wait from 12 PM until 2 PM to check in. The efficiency is a bit low. The room also had a strong musty smell. Everything else was decent. However, breakfast and the buffet dinner were a bit disappointing, with very few options.

My stay at the悦苑酒店 (Wei Zhou Island Angsana Resort) on Weizhou Island completely exceeded expectations! I absolutely have to give it a great review. It was definitely a smart move to avoid the peak 'Sanyuesan' holiday.
**Room Service Felt Like Staying with Friends**
When we checked in, the front desk attendant kindly upgraded us to a poolside room – stepping out, we were right by the pool! The cleaning staff every day were incredibly thoughtful. They noticed I had a cold and quietly left two extra bottles of water and a handwritten note: ”The weather is changing a lot, please stay warm. If you need ginger tea, contact the room service center.” Sure enough, when we returned in the evening, there was warm ginger tea waiting on the table! They even neatly organized our cosmetics. This kind of attention to detail truly brought tears to my eyes.😭
**Beach BBQ with Incredible Ambiance**
What surprised me the most was booking the hotel's beachside lawn BBQ! It was right next to their private beach. In the evening, watching the sunset and feeling the sea breeze, the chef grilled oysters, prawns, and squid right in front of us... The seafood was freshly caught that day, sizzling over charcoal, paired with a special Guilin-style sauce. It was incredibly delicious! The butler even thoughtfully set up string lights, and the background music was upbeat island tunes. Every photo taken looked like a movie scene!📸
**Other Highlights**
* The room was equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and Marshall speaker – top-notch! The minibar drinks were refilled for free.
* A 3-minute walk to Lanqiao Beach, which was uncrowded and clean, perfect for watching the sunset.
* The staff provided smiling service throughout our stay, and even gave us volcanic rock souvenirs when we checked out.
In short, Angsana Resort has mastered the art of ”luxury quality + affordable prices”! I'll definitely be returning to Weizhou Island and staying here again! #WeizhouIslandHiddenGem #BeachBBQHeaven #ServiceDetailObsessed
