Any request I had was met with an immediate and effective response. The room was clean and tidy, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea, a late-night snack, and a delicious and refined breakfast. The mini-fridge in the room was stocked with a great selection of free snacks and soft drinks. The hotel's location and environment were also excellent, perfect for photos, and offered a fantastic spot to watch the sunset over the sea. They provided free shuttle service to and from the pier, and even gave me a farewell gift when I left.

GGuest UserThis is my first time leaving a review voluntarily, and it's truly because I had such a wonderful stay! The hotel facilities are top-notch, but what really impressed me was the service. It was exceptional! A group chat was set up a day before our arrival, with seven staff members dedicated to our party of one. They responded instantly to all our requests. When we arrived, several butlers were waiting at the entrance. Each butler assisted one family, and I didn't have to carry my luggage once. When we left, the butler came to collect our luggage and arranged a car for us. Breakfast was served at our reserved time and was absolutely delicious. There was also afternoon tea and evening desserts. The mini-bar was fully stocked with food, drinks, and alcohol, and it was replenished daily. Upon entering our room, we were provided with aloe vera gel, sun umbrellas, and a small fan. The best part was the complimentary laundry and drying service—that was a real lifesaver! After swimming, we'd just toss our dirty clothes into a basket, and soon after, the butler would return them clean and folded. We could swim three times a day without worrying about running out of clothes. The bar at night was great too. It was closed the first night due to rain but opened the next day. I thought about ordering a Long Island Iced Tea, and to my surprise, the staff asked for my room number and informed me I had a 100-yuan voucher, so I didn't have to pay – a pleasant surprise! During our stay, there was a southwest swell, and ferry services were suspended the previous weekend, so we were worried about getting to the island. Thankfully, we made it smoothly. When we saw that a pool room was available, they upgraded us for one day (as other room types were fully booked for the second day). We were incredibly lucky that the guests in the pool room checked out the next day, and the hotel proactively extended our upgrade for another day, saving us the hassle of moving rooms. In short, everything was perfect, and there's so much more I haven't even mentioned. It's truly a top choice for a vacation! We stayed for two nights, then left for Beihai on the third day and stayed at another five-star hotel, but their service was incomparable. My daughter's first words the next morning were, 'Can they bring breakfast to us?' 😂😂😂 It was so good, we'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserI have never made comments, but I came here specially to make a comment this time. The hotel environment is very good. It is my first time to come to Weizhou Island for New Year's Eve. I don't want to mention the scenery. The hotel booking this time was very successful. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and make you feel at home. There are special cars to pick you up wherever you go. No matter where you encounter problems on the road, they will help you solve them in time and help you plan your travel route reasonably. If you come to Weizhou Island, I recommend staying here. Due to the temporary change of the itinerary, I stayed one more night and delayed check-out until 16:00. I was really touched.

Honestly, you could probably look at guesthouses on arrival and then check in, especially if it's the off-season. There are so many guesthouses on Weizhou Island, and it's not that big. Even though they upgraded us to a family suite, I still felt it was pretty average.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, which has soft, clean sand that feels amazing underfoot. The lobby design really gives off a resort vibe, with its natural wood decor and ocean-themed ornaments – it feels both fresh and sophisticated. Even the air diffuser has a subtle sea salt scent, making you instantly relax. The service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived with baggage assistance to the thoughtful in-room service, the staff were always smiling and eager to help with any request. The breakfast spread was extensive and unique, which was a real highlight! The in-room facilities were also very well thought out. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, so I slept incredibly well. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation too. Overall, a really wonderful stay! ^_^

Because of the public welfare concept of revitalizing the rural economy, choosing to stay in this field house is really the most pleasant experience recently! Must give five stars! As soon as you enter the door, the fresh and rustic decoration style makes people shine. The front desk with coral characteristics of Weizhou Island, the individual decoration paintings on the wall, and the scattered green plants are placed. Every detail is full of natural atmosphere, and the hustle and bustle of the city is isolated. The dishes are not to be said! Five-star chef, help with the New Year's Eve dinner of more than a dozen family members, full of weight, seafood is large, delicious, and cost-effective. The service is also very intimate, fast response, help rent a car, help contact the whale chasing, help recommend travel photography, etc. The recommended surrounding delicious and fun, are very distinctive. One-to-one butler-like service makes people feel the enthusiasm and beauty of Weizhou Island.

There's a whole street of shops and restaurants right next door, and the coastline in front is incredibly photogenic! The environment is also great, clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable. I didn't sleep well on the rocks, so I caught up on my nap here! Now for the cons: I think even the somewhat limited afternoon tea and breakfast aren't unforgivable issues. The most crucial problem is the airport/train station pick-up and drop-off service! Being late for pick-up is one thing, but for drop-off, which I booked a day in advance, no one knew the time the next day. I had to take a taxi on short notice and almost missed my connecting train and flight. Since this service was provided, it was vital for my first day and last day. I hope this newly opened guesthouse, with its second phase about to open, will learn from this experience and improve in the future!

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new and the decoration is very beautiful. When I checked in, the front desk lady introduced the tourist attractions on the island and gave the island map. The hardware facilities are also good and the paper quality is good. The drinks cabinet on the first floor of the hotel can be picked up by yourself and there are welcome fruits. There is a car rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. Booked for two nights, the next day back to the room card can not be opened, go to the front desk to authorize, this is not scientific, or you can remind the guests in advance, go back to the room before the authorization.

GGuest UserWeizhou Island Giant Whale Hotel | Absolutely Divine! This is what an island vacation should be like. Initially, my first day on Weizhou Island was a huge disappointment! The weather was gloomy, and the seawater wasn't as clear as I'd imagined. Other islands I've visited before were much more enjoyable than this one. I complained the whole way, my mood hit rock bottom, and I even thought this trip was going to be a disaster. That is, until I checked into the Giant Whale Hotel – I was instantly and thoroughly cured, feeling like all the previous frustrations were worth it! I have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team! From the moment we arrived on the island, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, and there was a dedicated transfer car waiting for us at the pier, so we didn't have to squeeze into crowded transport or figure out directions ourselves. They handled our luggage and check-in perfectly. Any questions we had for the concierge were answered instantly, with patience and enthusiasm. They also provided super practical travel tips, which was much better than just wandering around on our own. What touched us most was that during check-in, the concierge learned it was my wife's and my wedding anniversary, and they upgraded our room type for free! The new room had an absolutely stunning view; the entire floor-to-ceiling window framed the seascape like a painting. The 65sqm space was spacious and comfortable, and the sea-view bathtub by the window was incredibly romantic. Soaking in the bath while looking at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. The details in the room were also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, SMEG kettle, and capsule coffee machine were all available, and the mini-bar was stocked with snacks. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The hotel environment is truly spectacular; every photo turned out amazing! The mirrored infinity pool blends perfectly with the sea level, and at sunset, the entire pool turns orange, making for incredible photos. The cliffside garden is surrounded by greenery, with a gentle sea breeze, which is incredibly pleasant and not crowded at all – so quiet and perfect for a vacation. There's also a professional photographer who helps guests take pictures for free, finding the most beautiful spots, and the original photos look great straight out of the camera. Now I genuinely feel that the Giant Whale Hotel is the best on Weizhou Island! The service is incredibly thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the stay is comfortable, elevating our entire trip experience to the highest level. If you want a comfortable stay and great photos on Weizhou Island, you must choose this place. It's definitely not a disappointment, and I'll stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThanks to Trip.com and the hotel for upgrading my room! The layout of the sea view room was a bit awkward; the hallway faced the sea directly, while the room had an oblique view. Perhaps because it's the only five-star hotel on the island, and newly opened during the peak Chinese New Year season, there were a lot of guests, and the hotel seemed a bit inexperienced. Check-in took a long time, and housekeeping struggled to keep up. For a hotel that's only been open for just over a month, this is understandable. Now, about the hotel service – it was truly exceptional. I got injured on my first day, and the hotel's wheelchair was my companion for four whole days. On the last day, right before boarding the ship, the hotel even arranged a special car transfer, and the wheelchair stayed with me until I cleared security and was dropped off at the pier by their thoughtful car. I have to give the hotel a huge thumbs up! The hotel also partners with a car rental company. While their prices are higher, they're the only company on the island that offers insurance for electric scooters. On my first day, I rented an electric scooter and, less than 4 hours later, I crashed it due to my own error. I figured I'd have to pay for the damage. Instead, the rental company owner immediately drove me to the island's hospital and accompanied me. While waiting, they even refunded my entire deposit without question, and said if my injuries were serious, I could claim insurance. Despite some unfortunate incidents during my Weizhou Island trip, I will definitely be back! And next time, I'll still choose Angsana!
