I am not a trust, I really recommend hahaha service is really impeccable, provide business car transfer, help carry luggage throughout the island, especially worry-free. I proposed to the housekeeper that I want the swimming pool floating afternoon tea, the demand is refreshing, the layout is beyond expectations, and the photos are great! There are many choices for breakfast. Although the latte is generally the same, the American style can still be ordered. The smile on this cappuccino is painted by myself or quite cute hahaha The booked sea view room faces the sea, the view is wide, the room details are full, and the anti-mosquito spray and anti-mosquito stickers are carefully prepared. The island just needs to be considered. In the evening, I went out with wine to chase the sunset. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch up with the sunset, but I still took photos of the atmosphere. There are many takeaway options around the hotel. The food I ordered is online and there is no thunder at all. The staff is gentle and patient, and will try their best to meet the needs of large and small. The environment is quiet and healing, the facilities are new and clean, and you can't go wrong if you want to lie down and watch the audition. If you have friends who want to come to play next time, I will recommend 👍

Thank you for an amazing stay! They upgraded our room for free, and the butler service was incredibly responsive, truly the 'Haidilao' of hotels when it comes to service. The experience was fantastic! The hotel views are absolutely stunning; you step right out to the ocean, and every picture you take looks like it's from a magazine. They proactively contact you the night before to discuss your breakfast preferences, and the afternoon tea desserts are excellent, as is the goodnight stew. Our room also had a minibar with complimentary water, drinks, and snacks. I admit I was a bit worried at first after seeing some negative reviews about service on Weizhou Island [facepalm emoji]! But they helped us with our luggage throughout our stay and accommodated all our requests, not to mention the thoughtful greetings every time we saw them. We'll definitely be back just for this emotional value! Last night, I was almost moved to tears when the food delivery driver couldn't find our location. The kind gentleman with glasses patiently gave directions and then, in the blink of an eye, sprinted out to help me get our meal. Thank you, and thank you to every single staff member for your hard work! Special shoutouts to Ms. Youzi, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Sanqi, and indeed, all the staff members!

Weizhou Island was just okay, but the Coral Hotel was absolutely fantastic! You could spend a whole afternoon by the pool, and they even offer a thoughtful laundry service, so you never have to worry about your swimsuits not drying in time. Both the afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious, and they even provided complimentary evening cocktails. The live singer on the beach was amazing and even took requests. The hotel's photography partner, Coconut Travel Photography, was also great; we got some beautiful shots, and they perfectly arranged all the different camera angles. Fun to stay, great for photos, definitely coming back next time!

It was cloudy for three consecutive days when we came to Weizhou Island, so we couldn't play many marine activities, but staying in the hotel was also a good choice. The housekeeper Jing was very patient, and the small restaurant he recommended was also delicious. He accompanied us to check in at all the must-see attractions without any urging, and helped us pick seafood to take back to the hotel for processing in the afternoon (the mantis shrimp was much bigger than the one in Beihai Hotel, and there were some with roe). Next time when the weather is good, I will choose Sanjing Yingyun to go to sea to watch whales in Weizhou Island!

The room has an amazing view; I could watch the sunrise and sunset right from my bed. It was clean, well-equipped, and the service was thoughtful. The sea-view balcony was perfect for photos. Great value for money, I'd definitely choose this place again next time. Housekeeper Xiao Ma provided meticulous service, was kind and polite, and genuinely took care of me during my stay. Full marks for the experience!

First off: The facilities are great, definitely living up to its reputation as a top family-friendly hotel. It's right by the beach, with an excellent location and comprehensive amenities. However, the service staff left a bit to be desired. 1. When checking in, I asked how often the pool water is changed. They immediately said daily. When I pressed for specific times, they couldn't answer and later called back to say it's continuously filtered. Their attitude was good, but the answer felt overly perfunctory and dismissive. 2. The check-in guide stated breakfast hours were 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM. However, when I went at 9:40 AM, they were already clearing the hot food section. The restaurant staff told me that 10:30 AM is only for weekends, and it's 10:00 AM on other days. This misinformation significantly impacted my experience. 3. On the second morning, even with the hotel fully booked and me waiting for half an hour for a table at 9:30 AM, they started clearing breakfast around 10:10 AM. It felt very rigid. 4. When my room was cleaned for the extended stay, I found a discount coupon for the buffet dinner. However, when I asked at the front desk, they said it wasn't open and was only available on weekends. Yet, when I went to the restaurant that evening, it was open as usual. 5. During both check-in and check-out, no one asked if I was driving or needed my license plate registered. Consequently, I was stuck at the parking gate when checking out on the third day. 6. The second day's complimentary fruit platter was being delivered to other rooms while we were out, but we didn't receive ours when we returned. 7. The air conditioning was excessively noisy and couldn't be adjusted for temperature or fan speed; it was just an on/off switch for centralized control. 8. When I ordered takeout, the delivery driver said a hotel robot would bring it. After waiting over twenty minutes without receiving it, I finally went to the takeout shelf to pick it up myself. My cold drink was almost warm by then. Oh, and one more thing: the Haagen-Dazs ice cream scoops at the afternoon tea, while not expensive, were full of ice chips when served. My child, who loves ice cream, ate it for two days like that...

Maybe the location is not the best on the island, most people will choose to live in Dishui Danping or Shiluokou. Because of the public welfare concept of revitalizing the rural economy, choosing to stay in this field house is really the most pleasant experience recently! Must give five stars! As soon as you enter the door, the fresh and rustic decoration style makes people shine. The front desk with coral characteristics of Weizhou Island, the individual decoration paintings on the wall, and the scattered green plants are placed. Every detail is full of natural atmosphere, and the hustle and bustle of the city is isolated. The dishes are not to be said! Five-star chef, help with the New Year's Eve dinner of more than a dozen family members, full of weight, seafood is large, delicious, and cost-effective. The service is also very intimate, fast response, help rent a car, help contact the whale chasing, help recommend travel photography, etc. The recommended surrounding delicious and fun, are very distinctive. One-to-one butler-like service makes people feel the enthusiasm and beauty of Weizhou Island.

The Grand Whale Hotel is absolutely fantastic! Everything from the views, ambiance, facilities, to the service is top-notch on the island. It's a newly opened hotel this year, so all the amenities are brand new. The cliffside restaurant at the hotel offers incredibly beautiful views, perfect for watching the sunset. Before check-in, a dedicated hotel butler set up a WeChat group for us. There were four of us, and they thoughtfully upgraded our room. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows were truly stunning – I highly recommend experiencing this room type if you get the chance! You get to enjoy endless sea views right from your room. The hotel pays attention to every little detail. Our dedicated butlers, Xixi and Taozi, were also incredibly attentive and responded very promptly. When our transfer arrived, a butler was already waiting at the entrance to greet us, thoughtfully providing umbrellas and small fans. Upon check-in, we were offered welcome fruits in the lobby, and they even introduced us to the island's sights. The complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel was also very professional. The photographer guided our poses and found beautiful scenes and angles. The photos turned out so amazing that we couldn't resist paying extra for a package. I genuinely can't recommend this hotel enough! The views are super beautiful and definitely comparable to the island's Spring and Summer Cliff Garden. The hotel has its own large French garden, showing how much effort they put in, and the lobby is also very grand and photogenic. The sun loungers by the pool are also perfect for just relaxing and gazing out at the sea.

Overall, it was a good experience! We checked in on the third day of our family trip from Yunnan. It's quite convenient if you're driving, and there were a good number of guests. We arrived around 3:30 PM for check-in. It was a bit slow, as mentioned in other reviews, but the front desk staff were very polite. We also met Yuki, the hotel's GRO, at the front desk, who was very enthusiastic and proactively introduced us to the hotel and surrounding area. Because of the slight delay (only about ten minutes), she even upgraded our room type. The front desk staff also helped us with our luggage to the room. The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, though it's a bit small and irregularly shaped. Breakfast was decent, and there's a buffet dinner on weekends (for an additional charge). You can get to the beach by exiting through the small gate next to the swimming pool, then turning left down a slope for about a hundred meters, then turning right and going down about a dozen steps. However, the sand is quite coarse, and it's crowded. Personally, I don't think it's as fun as Silver Beach, and you can't go into the water, but the scenery is nice on a clear day. Downsides: 1. One side of the barrier separating the swimming pool from the children's area was detached and very sharp, posing a safety hazard. 2. The hairdryer in the room was an old model; a hotel of this caliber should have a bladeless one. 3. The parking garage elevator doesn't seem to connect directly to the hotel rooms (or maybe I just couldn't find another route), which made it inconvenient to retrieve things from the car.

The hotel is located near the pier, close to the Blue Bridge, and offers direct walking access to a relatively untouched beach. The rooms maintain the Banyan Tree brand's consistent aesthetic and standards, making it one of the higher-end hotels on Weizhou Island, providing a very comfortable stay. Although the hotel's food is a bit pricey, it's clean and delicious. My child, who doesn't eat seafood, devoured the black char siu for two consecutive days – it's significantly better than the Sichuan-style seafood stalls ubiquitous on Weizhou Island. The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Shiloukou, Wucai Beach, and Nanwan, requiring a 10+ minute sightseeing car ride to reach them. We spent quite a bit on sightseeing cars during our two-day stay. However, if you prioritize environment and hygiene, I still recommend the Banyan Tree. I hope they'll develop more family-friendly activities in the future, as most guests visit with children. Also, while the service staff are good, there's still room for improvement in their service awareness compared to other Banyan Tree properties I've stayed at. On a side note, I must say the hotel's breakfast is truly delicious! While the variety isn't extensive, everything tastes great!
