GGuest UserThank you for an amazing stay! They upgraded our room for free, and the butler service was incredibly responsive, truly the 'Haidilao' of hotels when it comes to service. The experience was fantastic! The hotel views are absolutely stunning; you step right out to the ocean, and every picture you take looks like it's from a magazine. They proactively contact you the night before to discuss your breakfast preferences, and the afternoon tea desserts are excellent, as is the goodnight stew. Our room also had a minibar with complimentary water, drinks, and snacks. I admit I was a bit worried at first after seeing some negative reviews about service on Weizhou Island [facepalm emoji]! But they helped us with our luggage throughout our stay and accommodated all our requests, not to mention the thoughtful greetings every time we saw them. We'll definitely be back just for this emotional value! Last night, I was almost moved to tears when the food delivery driver couldn't find our location. The kind gentleman with glasses patiently gave directions and then, in the blink of an eye, sprinted out to help me get our meal. Thank you, and thank you to every single staff member for your hard work! Special shoutouts to Ms. Youzi, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Sanqi, and indeed, all the staff members!

GGuest UserOverall, it was great! Even though it's in China, it feels a bit like the Maldives. For a domestic hotel, it's really good!
**Facilities:** Overall excellent, the best part is the pool. The water is warm, not cold at all, and pool rooms have direct access to the outdoor pool, which is fantastic. Beachfront rooms also lead directly to the beach.
**Environment:** The exterior is lovely, with many charming little bungalows. The self-built houses are very pretty, and there are even live singing performances in the evening. The room also came with lots of fruit and beer, which was a nice touch.
**Cleanliness:** Generally good, though the private hot spring pool might have a bit of dust. However, you can ask the staff to clean it, and it's unavoidable as it's outdoors. But it's a minor detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience.
**Service:** The service was the absolute best! The staff, both male and female, were incredibly gentle and thoughtful. The pick-up and drop-off service was also excellent – they even came to help with luggage. The young woman with glasses was particularly wonderful, and the young man with his hair tied back was also very gentle. Hundred-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GGuest UserI have never made comments, but I came here specially to make a comment this time. The hotel environment is very good. It is my first time to come to Weizhou Island for New Year's Eve. I don't want to mention the scenery. The hotel booking this time was very successful. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and make you feel at home. There are special cars to pick you up wherever you go. No matter where you encounter problems on the road, they will help you solve them in time and help you plan your travel route reasonably. If you come to Weizhou Island, I recommend staying here. Due to the temporary change of the itinerary, I stayed one more night and delayed check-out until 16:00. I was really touched.

Honestly, you could probably look at guesthouses on arrival and then check in, especially if it's the off-season. There are so many guesthouses on Weizhou Island, and it's not that big. As soon as you enter the door, the fresh and rustic decoration style makes people shine. The front desk with coral characteristics of Weizhou Island, the individual decoration paintings on the wall, and the scattered green plants are placed. Every detail is full of natural atmosphere, and the hustle and bustle of the city is isolated.
The dishes are not to be said! Five-star chef, help with the New Year's Eve dinner of more than a dozen family members, full of weight, seafood is large, delicious, and cost-effective.
The service is also very intimate, fast response, help rent a car, help contact the whale chasing, help recommend travel photography, etc. The recommended surrounding delicious and fun, are very distinctive. One-to-one butler-like service makes people feel the enthusiasm and beauty of Weizhou Island.

GGuest UserWeizhou Island Giant Whale Hotel | Absolutely Divine! This is what an island vacation should be like.
Initially, my first day on Weizhou Island was a huge disappointment! The weather was gloomy, and the seawater wasn't as clear as I'd imagined. Other islands I've visited before were much more enjoyable than this one. I complained the whole way, my mood hit rock bottom, and I even thought this trip was going to be a disaster. That is, until I checked into the Giant Whale Hotel – I was instantly and thoroughly cured, feeling like all the previous frustrations were worth it!
I have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team! From the moment we arrived on the island, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, and there was a dedicated transfer car waiting for us at the pier, so we didn't have to squeeze into crowded transport or figure out directions ourselves. They handled our luggage and check-in perfectly. Any questions we had for the concierge were answered instantly, with patience and enthusiasm. They also provided super practical travel tips, which was much better than just wandering around on our own.
What touched us most was that during check-in, the concierge learned it was my wife's and my wedding anniversary, and they upgraded our room type for free! The new room had an absolutely stunning view; the entire floor-to-ceiling window framed the seascape like a painting. The 65sqm space was spacious and comfortable, and the sea-view bathtub by the window was incredibly romantic. Soaking in the bath while looking at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. The details in the room were also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, SMEG kettle, and capsule coffee machine were all available, and the mini-bar was stocked with snacks. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay.
The hotel environment is truly spectacular; every photo turned out amazing! The mirrored infinity pool blends perfectly with the sea level, and at sunset, the entire pool turns orange, making for incredible photos. The cliffside garden is surrounded by greenery, with a gentle sea breeze, which is incredibly pleasant and not crowded at all – so quiet and perfect for a vacation. There's also a professional photographer who helps guests take pictures for free, finding the most beautiful spots, and the original photos look great straight out of the camera.
Now I genuinely feel that the Giant Whale Hotel is the best on Weizhou Island! The service is incredibly thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the stay is comfortable, elevating our entire trip experience to the highest level. If you want a comfortable stay and great photos on Weizhou Island, you must choose this place. It's definitely not a disappointment, and I'll stay here again next time!

The layout of the sea view room was a bit awkward; the hallway faced the sea directly, while the room had an oblique view. Perhaps because it's the only five-star hotel on the island, and newly opened during the peak Chinese New Year season, there were a lot of guests, and the hotel seemed a bit inexperienced. Check-in took a long time, and housekeeping struggled to keep up. For a hotel that's only been open for just over a month, this is understandable.
Now, about the hotel service – it was truly exceptional. I got injured on my first day, and the hotel's wheelchair was my companion for four whole days. On the last day, right before boarding the ship, the hotel even arranged a special car transfer, and the wheelchair stayed with me until I cleared security and was dropped off at the pier by their thoughtful car. I have to give the hotel a huge thumbs up!
The hotel also partners with a car rental company. While their prices are higher, they're the only company on the island that offers insurance for electric scooters. On my first day, I rented an electric scooter and, less than 4 hours later, I crashed it due to my own error. I figured I'd have to pay for the damage. Instead, the rental company owner immediately drove me to the island's hospital and accompanied me. While waiting, they even refunded my entire deposit without question, and said if my injuries were serious, I could claim insurance.
Despite some unfortunate incidents during my Weizhou Island trip, I will definitely be back! And next time, I'll still choose Angsana!

The warm log texture, scattered tropical green plants, lazy vine soft decoration, with gentle light and shadow layout, the details are full of the relaxed atmosphere of Southeast Asian islands. The overall decoration is exquisite and transparent, one step at a time, there is no grand and complicated design, but there is elegant and quiet everywhere, the door is opened for an instant, the fatigue of the city is instantly dissipated, as if you are in a leisurely tropical vacation secret, and the filming rate is super high. The most impressive thing is the hotel's butler service, meticulous and thoughtful, intimate and proportional, the whole experience is full. From communicating check-in needs in advance, checking in quickly, to taking the initiative to help carry luggage, intimately informing the surrounding play guides and hotel facilities details, the whole process is timely, the service is gentle and patient. Any needs during the stay can be properly solved as soon as possible, not deliberately disturbed but everything is comprehensive, meticulous and exclusive service, people feel full sincerity and full sense of belonging, the experience far exceeds expectations. The whole stay was almost impeccable, but a small design flaw was found: the dining area in the hotel lobby was over-temperature. Guess it is a small problem with the overall architectural layout and ventilation design. Even if the air conditioner is turned on, it will still feel stuffy and hot when dining, and the comfort is slightly discounted. It is the only small regret in this perfect stay. , , Overall, this is a treasure hotel with a sense of atmosphere, service and environment that is almost full marks. Super high value with intimate butler service, completely worthy of reputation, it is highly recommended to stay!
