I booked 3 nights, mainly because I saw a photo of a swimming pool on Trip.com. However, when I arrived, the staff told me there is no pool at all, and that the image shown online was not part of their hotel. This was very disappointing. When I went to report this, I saw that the photo had already been removed from the listing, which made it harder to prove. Regarding the deposit, I paid in cash at check-in. To be fair, I forgot to ask about it during check-out. After I returned home, I emailed the hotel, and they replied saying the refund would be processed via bank transfer. However, at the time of writing this review, I still haven't received the money.
Additionally, I had booked a twin room, but I was informed that children were not permitted in that room type. I admit it was written in the booking, but it wasn't obvious. The hotel charged us an additional €49 per night to upgrade to a triple room. However, on the first night, we still had to sleep in the original twin room, even though we had already paid for the triple. We only moved to the triple room on the second and third nights. The invoice was only sent on the second day, which made it confusing – I initially thought I wouldn’t be charged the first night. Ultimately, I contacted Trip.com's customer service, and they were helpful, offering partial compensation. I appreciate their support, but I believe future guests should be aware of these issues.

My first trip to Spain, and I stayed two nights in Barcelona. This hotel is simply wonderful; both the exterior and interior are stylish. Each floor has a water dispenser with chilled, room temperature, and sparkling water, which was very convenient. I was also pleased with the strong airflow of the hairdryer and the good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of vegetables, including cold carrot soup and soybean soup, delicious omelets, and excellent cured ham. The bread selection was extensive, from sweet pastries to focaccia and croissant sandwiches, all delicious. The cheesecake, in particular, was outstanding. Coincidentally, my daughter's birthday fell on our second night. When we returned to our room from sightseeing, we were surprised with a message card, a cake, and a crown present! It was incredibly touching. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Spain.

Arrived in Barcelona by night train, I have arrived at the hotel in the morning and plan to temporarily store my luggage. The hotel is very intimate and can let me check in early to rest.

The hotel is fine for one night standing. Good location. Amenities clean but very old. Needs to be refreshed.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the city center, right next to the park, walking distance to Cologne metro station, from there direct access to the airport. The room was clean and the furniture was comfortable.
