My recent stay at Dorsett Kai Tak, Hong Kong, far exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Kai Tak Sports Park, with shopping malls like AIRSIDE within walking distance. It's just a 15-20 minute MTR ride to the Central business district, and with free shuttle services to and from the MTR and stadium, getting around is completely hassle-free.

The room design has a lovely coastal vibe, and the L-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows provide incredible natural light. In the seaview rooms, opening the window reveals a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour – perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning or enjoying the afterglow in the evening. Some room types even come with a private terrace, offering a wonderfully relaxing spot to sit and admire the view.

Facilities are genuinely impressive. The rooftop infinity pool is definitely a highlight, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour while you swim. The fitness center is well-equipped and modern, leaving you feeling refreshed after a workout. Dining options are plentiful, with a creative Spanish-Sichuan fusion restaurant and a London-inspired rooftop bar with a fantastic atmosphere – both great for a proper meal or just a drink.

The staff provide warm and thoughtful service. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and check-in and check-out were efficient and convenient, showcasing their professionalism in every detail.

Whether you're here for a concert, a family trip, or business, this place is ideal. The diverse room types cater to the different needs of families and groups, and there are plenty of shopping and dining choices nearby. It's a comfortable and stress-free stay, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Hong Kong!

Nice hotel with very cleanliness. Hotel quite far from MTR but there are shuttle bus service to take you to the near shopping mall and MTR station (call to reserve seat before riding) Housekeeper always change the bed sheet along with our trip. Hotel have deposit luggage service both before check-in and after check-out

I actually fell in love with Hong Kong because of this hotel 🇭🇰. I'll choose to travel to Hong Kong for any holiday, big or small 🧳. I've stayed here every time I've visited over the years, and the front desk manager is always warm and thoughtful, once again upgrading me and my children to a suite. The hotel has updated its decor. The kids felt like they were living in Disneyland. They were incredibly happy. Thank you, Dorsett Hotel, for a perfect vacation for me and my children. You can't go wrong choosing to stay here! The location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping in Causeway Bay and getting anywhere. The experience was so good, I just left and I'm already planning my next holiday trip for this year ❤️🍾🌈

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. The comfort of the room was exceptional—every detail thoughtfully designed for relaxation. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their kindness was not just professional but genuinely warm; they anticipated needs with a smile and went above and beyond at every turn. It’s rare to feel so genuinely cared for while traveling. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a place where you feel welcomed and valued. We’re already looking forward to returning.

Hotels in Hong Kong are quite small, much like those in Japan, and they don't offer complimentary toiletries.

I had originally bought a voucher for this hotel, only to find out that booking last-minute would have been even cheaper.

This hotel is a bit far from the MTR station, but it's very close to bus stops.

For facilities, the hotel provides its own shuttle bus.

I think this hotel is really good, centrally located in Wan Chai. It's very close to the Convention and Exhibition Centre, Victoria Harbour, and old neighborhoods for dining. It was a great experience for me in Hong Kong. Don't complain about the small size; who in Hong Kong comes back to sleep before midnight? As long as there's space for luggage and you can lie down, it's fine. Oh, and the room numbers are on the floor, so remember to look down for them – that's quite unusual internationally.

Situated in the neighbourhood area od Damansara, Dorsett Hartamas offers stylish stay at somehow mid-range price.

Plaza Damas is a stone's throw walking from the hotel, making it a suitable place to dine, shop and retreat.

However, I experienced the following, making the overall rating reduced:
1. No hot water for shower/ sink - until the next morning
2. The room is appeared compact and less spacious compared to what's been shown in website/ room selection
3. Not mentions of parking is paid separately (RM 3.70 per entry, not FOC)

The location is excellent, the staff were super friendly and polite, and both rooms were big and comfortable. The hotel was clean. There was a strange smell in the corridor, I think because of the weather, but it did not affect our stay or rooms at all. We took breakfast, which was fair. I only wished there were gluten-free bread and lactose-free milk; the manager was helping his colleagues, which was nice to see. 
For sure, I will come back again to this hotel.

The hotel location is superb, walking distance to Pavillion and TRX. Room view is superb too as shown in image. Besides, thumbs up to the cleanliness of room, just that there are some visible dusts which can be neglected. However, there are some area of improvement especially the network is very bad. I have hard time in using my devices within the few days stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable, which was a positive point during my stay. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing as there were very limited food choices. Cleanliness also needs to be improved, as some areas did not appear well-maintained. Parking is available but located a bit far from the hotel, and a deposit is still required during check-in. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness and breakfast variety.

We stayed at Silka Maytower in Kuala Lumpur for four nights. The location is definitely a plus—it’s close to many tourist spots, which makes getting around convenient. The service was good, but the overall experience was a bit disappointing. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the breakfast was just average. Also, the rooms don’t look quite like the photos in the promotions; the pictures make them appear much cleaner and more modern than they actually are.

Dorsett Residences is located right next to Dorsett Hotel, hence we share the same breakfast venue at Dorsett Hotel restaurant. The breakfast is the same every day. There is no variety to the food and it honestly got a bit dreadful by the 3rd morning of our stay. The location of the apartment is good though, about 5-7min min walk away from Fahrenheit and Pavilion. The size of the apartment is just right for my family of 4. The staff will clean the room every day and I love it that there is a washer and dryer in the room for me to do laundry. However I was appalled that the bedsheets were not changed during the 4 nights I was there because the same black stains were visible on the bedsheets throughout. Apartment has a gym and swimming pool on the 30th floor that opens from 8 am to 10 pm daily.

Staffs were swift and helpful upon check in and check out. Wished the hotel could accomodate to late check out as i had requested earlier via trip and it was sad that the hotel room phone not seem to be working when we wanted to make a call. The room cleanliness was nevertheless good, the toilet had a bidette and it was very comfy for a night stay. Hotel was accessible via expo downtown line mrt and changi city point mall where we had bought our food to take out. Night spend was well as we watched fireworks at the stadium.

Room and Amenities: The room was quite spacious, with enough room for luggage. The universal outlets were a plus, but the USB-C ports on them didn't work. 
Location: Excellent location, right above Outram Park MRT station and very close to Chinatown.
Service: There wasn't much service. At check-in, the front desk simply told me the room number and handed over the key card, nothing else. But then again, I didn't have high expectations.
View: There's a pool, and the green view outside the window was quite pleasant, which was a nice touch.
