nice building, great history, staff was nice and accommodating.

However I was not impressed the political PRIDE flag flying out front. In fact I made a point of phone ahead to ask if it was taken down given that pride celibrations were over, I was told there would be no pride flag.

I don't hate anyone, I have *** friends and acquaintances, but they are normal *** people who don't act talk or dress weird, they don't fly pride crap, in fact they are just as offended as I and others are bc it marginalizes being *** and targets children and mentally challenged people, which like Tumbler Ridge, are turned into fanatics.

Its just when I'm on vacation, spending $600 a night for a little room, the last thing I want to deal with is political BS, especially when I'm about to dine, which turned me off from dinning in the hotel restaurant. I feel betrayed, with a portion of our holiday ruined.
I won't be staying at the this Fairmont or any others until things change, and I suggest you find somewhere else to send them a message.
speaking with your pocket book is powerful way to get the message across. Legal action is too, but at this point I'm hoping they'll understand how offensive and controversial the situation is and do the right thing.
personally, I wouldn't have mind if they put it up for the week of pride dt, but to slap people of faith and morals in the face with that crap is unacceptable.

Management was not appoligenic,

The location was great, very close to Waterfront Station, which made it perfect for sightseeing. The facilities were also very pleasant and the staff were friendly, which added to the positive experience.

Fairmont Pacific Rim is a great hotel with a prime location. The facilities and service are top-notch. I highly recommend it. We were assigned a good-sized room with a spectacular view of the harbor. The sunrises are incredible!

I’ve pretty much toured every hotel on the Palm - and my thing is always trying a new one each time. But this place? I’d actually come back. Location is perfect: beginning of the Palm, big mall next door and so many restaurants around I couldn't decide what to eat (first-world problem, I know). The sea is calm, the beach is fully equipped and the pools are dreamy.
Room was immaculate, housekeeping was lightning-fast, concierge was lovely, reception was quick and smiley. Everything just worked. So for the first time ever, I'm planning a repeat stay at the same hotel.

Check in was smooth and was attended by Rash. She was courteous and helpful in getting the room. Was given a room on a higher floor facing partial Dubai frame. The soap etc is very poor quality and bed sheets not white, something not expected of such hotel.

Bikash at concierge was rude and I feel need training on customer relations. Gave him the card and instead of handing back, he just placed on the table. Valet parking was also slow and disorganised. Imagine waiting 30 mins just for them to pick up the car. I don't see this in Sofitel Downtown or the JW Marriot.

Location is ok but there are definitely other better hotels around the area. Other facilities such as steam room and pool area are quite old.

This hotel is located on a hilltop, offering fantastic views from the higher floor rooms. While it's an older hotel, it has a classic charm without feeling outdated. The service is also excellent.

Hotel location is very good, nearby dining and travel are more convenient, there is a kitchen and washing machine is very suitable for family travel, health and service can also be, in the nearby business trip will choose the hotel every time
