The location is fantastic!

The only downsides were that the public bath was crowded and there was no bottled water in the room, requiring us to go to the water dispenser outside.

The room was spacious and very comfortable.

The hotel is well maintained. The room is probably the largest I've stayed in Japan. You can see the beautiful view of Ago Bay when you enter the room. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. At the same time, the hotel has a car to pick up to the other main building at any time. The sky garden has a check-in point for the 2016 G7 Summit, and the scenery is no less beautiful than the view from the Yokoyama Observatory. The breakfast is rich, with Western buffet and Japanese set meals to choose from, and the taste is very good. There is a scheduled shuttle bus from Kashikojima Station to the hotel. If you are late, you can also call the hotel to pick you up at the station. The service is really considerate. It is difficult to find a restaurant open after 5 o'clock near Kashikojima Station. It is recommended to make a reservation for dinner at the hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance~

The hotel is clean, the staff is kind, the facilities are very few, the tickets for the Spanish village have to be bought separately, and the meal performance is ordinary.

The hotel suite is 100m2 and is huge . Our suite was with 3 futons, perfect for 3 gentlemen.  The huge bathroom was well supplied with the nicest cosmetic amenities and fluffy towels. 
Everything in the refrigerator was free, even wines. However we did not consume any. The Club lounge on the fifth floor was already well supplied with all kinds of snacks, beverages and wines, open from morning to late night. 
We had a Japanese breakfast on day and a western breakfast on the second day. Both were excellent.

We stayed with a total of 4 people with 3 adult friends and 1 4 year old child. The pool was available until 18:00 on the same day and 10:00 the next day 〜 14:00 at an additional fee, and there was a jet relaxing corner in the indoor heated pool and it was quite refreshing.
The hot springs after that were free and fun.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Kintetsu Universal City! The location is unbeatable—it’s only a 1-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan, making it incredibly convenient to visit the park from early morning until closing time.

The hotel is also surrounded by plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping options, so everything you need is within easy walking distance. 

One of the highlights was the lovely surprise gift from the hotel—an exclusive Original Pass Holder featuring Sesame Street characters from the park. The glitter inside moves when you shake it, making it a fun and unique souvenir that brought a smile to our faces.

After checking out, we were able to take the airport limousine bus directly to the airport for an additional fee, which was very convenient and made our journey home much easier.

Overall, this hotel offers an excellent location, comfortable accommodation, thoughtful service, and a few special touches that made our stay even more memorable.

This hotel is super convenient! It's just across the street, a mere few dozen meters from the east exit of JR Tennoji Station. Tennoji is a major transportation hub, so getting to the airport is a breeze, taking only 40 minutes directly. The hotel is right in the Tennoji commercial district, making shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly easy. Kintetsu Department Store is just a stone's throw away, with a fantastic food street and supermarket on its two basement floors. Even Shitennoji Temple isn't far, easily walkable.

While the rooms are a bit older and basic, they're perfectly functional, making it an excellent choice for a transit stay. I was given a high-floor room away from the train tracks, which was wonderfully quiet at night – very satisfied with that! When checking in, I noticed a male manager at the front desk using a Chinese voice translation service to assist a Chinese guest with a language barrier, which was a nice touch. (A small note: the hotel doesn't provide shower caps.)

First time in Osaka, and everything went smoothly! The hotel is super close to Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station, just a two or three-minute walk. It's a bit further from Hommachi Station, about a 20-minute walk. Apparently, after 10 PM, the subway to Sakaisuji-Hommachi stops running, so you'd have to take it to Hommachi and walk back. A taxi at night for 6km would cost around 4000 yen.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. They spoke English and were also happy to use translation apps to communicate. The room had several options for housekeeping posted, which was a nice touch and showed great attention to detail.

And the terrace is huge! There's even a torii gate on top of the building next door.

Check-out was quick and efficient. The lobby for check-in is on the second floor, and they have free drinks and a lounge area.

After midnight, the main entrance downstairs is locked, so you need your key card to get in, which feels very secure. The elevators also require a key card to access your floor. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, but there are water dispensers on every floor. I opted to buy a big bottle of water from 7-Eleven, haha! 😂

Anyway, it was a great stay. It's pretty central and you can walk to most places. I'd definitely book again next time!

Compared to three other accommodations in Kyoto, this place truly has an unbeatable location, just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station.

The booking process was a bit of a roller coaster; prices surged during peak season, and vacancies were scarce.

The rooms are quite spacious. In the evenings, there's even a queue for the elevator, which shows how popular the hotel is. Many locals come here for gatherings and meals.

The basic hygiene is acceptable, but the bathroom exhaust fan was full of dust, which was a bit off-putting to see. For the first two nights, the duvet felt itchy, but it was comfortable after the bedding was changed.

The breakfast buffet was extensive.

The hotel's location is excellent. Turn left when you leave, and there's an Aeon mall, which is great for shopping. On the first floor, there's a Gong Cha, where I had a delicious matcha drink.

Further inside, there's a bakery that had a collaboration with 'Demon Slayer'; I bought a cup there, and their bread is really good. Even further inside is a supermarket with a wide variety of products, and in the evenings, they offer discounted sushi and bento boxes.

Overall, I think the hotel is quite good, and its convenient location makes it a place I'd likely stay at again on my next visit.

The hotel is located right inside the train station, making it extremely convenient. Despite its central location, it was quiet and comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants, shops, and even a UNIQLO right downstairs, so everything we needed was within easy reach.

The price was also very reasonable for the location and convenience. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
