One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. It's right next to Kinshicho Station, within walking distance, and the area is very lively with malls, drugstores, and various restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for daily life.
💁♂️ **Service**: Standardized service, no communication barriers.
As a chain hotel, the service quality is consistent, and the staff are friendly.
🛌 **Facilities**: Small but comprehensive, though space is compact.
This is a common characteristic of Tokyo hotels, and this hotel managed to be 'small but comprehensive' in terms of facilities.
- **Toiletries**: This is a major highlight! The hotel offers a free, self-service selection of toiletries, which is very comprehensive, including shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser, hair ties, and even bath salts, all of good quality.
Overall, this is a hotel with great value for money, a convenient location, attentive service, and amazing toiletries. It's perfect for both short and long stays in Tokyo.

Although it's a bit of a walk from Asakusa subway station to the hotel, you'll pass through Kaminarimon and Nakamise-dori on the way, which is super convenient for taking photos and grabbing a bite. However, if you're heading to Senso-ji Temple, it's only a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel to the main hall – incredibly close! You can even see the Five-Storied Pagoda and Skytree from your window, which are stunning at night. Across from the hotel is another Richmond Hotel with a UNIQLO on the ground floor. Just one street over, you'll find Don Quijote and a street full of izakayas. Plus, there's the ROX department store nearby with Muji, GU, 3COINS, and a 24-hour Seiyu supermarket. It's truly convenient and great for shopping. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The room was a bit small, but for the price, it was great value for money and felt much more spacious than other rooms in the same price range. The breakfast spread was excellent and thoughtfully prepared. It was wonderfully quiet and cozy, offering a peaceful retreat after a day in the bustling city center. Despite the tranquility, dining and shopping options were very convenient; there were all sorts of restaurants and supermarkets right outside the alley. Plus, just one subway stop away, there's a large shopping complex that isn't too crowded. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo.

I had a great stay at this hotel. One of the biggest advantages is its incredibly convenient location—it’s very easy to get around, with public transportation, shops, and restaurants all nearby. This made my trip much more enjoyable and stress-free.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a well-located and convenient place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

My daughter and I left some luggages at the hotel and came back to stay for another 3 more nights.  The hotel did not disappoint us.  Once we checked in, our stored luggages were already in our room,  The room type was the same and was very clean as well.  Overall, really pleasant with the stay, except on 2 of the days when we tried to go for breakfast around 10am, we were 1st rejected as the staff said it was already closed (but the breakfast coupon stated breakfast time 6:30-10:30am.  After some protest, we were allowed to go in and had our breakfast.  Other than that, all were well.  Will still be a good choice to stay in Tokyo and will definitely come back again.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance to Senso-ji Temple, and there are plenty of supermarkets, shops, and restaurants nearby, making getting around super convenient. From our high-floor room, we could open the window and enjoy a wonderful view of Tokyo Skytree and the Five-Storied Pagoda. Although the room wasn't huge, it was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Japanese and Western. The front desk staff were very friendly, and overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Asakusa.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, so my review should be quite insightful!

**Excellent Location:** The subway station is right downstairs, with direct access to both Haneda and Narita airports. There are also many options for getting around the city. If you have luggage, I recommend using the B3 exit, which has a direct elevator; otherwise, you might question your life choices, as many subway exits in Japan are stairs. You can see the Tokyo Skytree right outside the hotel. Downstairs, there's a large Life supermarket where you can buy sushi and sashimi to enjoy in your room. The fresh milk is incredibly delicious and affordable – highly recommended, a must-try! Besides the supermarket, there's also a shopping mall next to the Skytree, featuring Uniqlo, Zara, Onitsuka Tiger, and Loft (from stationery to cosmetics, they have everything). There are also plenty of restaurant choices!

**Hotel Service:** The staff are very friendly and speak fluent English. Although the rooms are small, they are very clean. Typically, rooms are cleaned every 3 days, but they offer daily towel changes, bed tidying, and trash removal. Of course, if you want daily full cleaning, you can select that option on the TV! The in-room TV is also a major source of information, providing Wi-Fi passwords, weather forecasts, and more!

**Hotel Breakfast:** It's predominantly Western-style, with delicious food and a wide variety of choices. The salads and fruits are very fresh, the milk and coffee are great, and the pastries are tasty. There's even ice cream and a DIY waffle maker, which many guests love and sometimes requires a short wait! Japanese rice is famously expensive, but here it's unlimited. Pairing it with curry provides plenty of energy for the whole day. Plus, they have salmon for breakfast! The cheese toast is a must-order. I ate so much every morning that I sometimes skipped lunch. You absolutely *must* buy the breakfast! Don't say I didn't warn you – this is a steal you shouldn't miss.

You can practically leave all your toiletries at home and use the ones provided by the hotel, which are from Pola. This frees up space for all your shopping, as Japan is a great place to shop, with favorable exchange rates and tax-free options!

My recent stay at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba was quite a shock, definitely not as good as previous Richmond stays. I encountered a lot of issues during my four nights there. First, regarding my request for 'no corner room' – I had communicated this in advance via Ctrip. However, each floor at this hotel is small with only a few rooms, so there's not really a distinction between corner or non-corner. But I was still assigned a corner room on the top floor, which was really inconvenient. If the elevators were busy, I had to wait quite a while 😂. Two elevators really aren't enough. 

Next, the cleanliness. On my first day, I didn't select the continuous stay option on the TV. The hotel's policy is to clean every three days. I changed it to have cleaning for the remaining three days. But, dramatically, the first cleaning was fine, while the second and third had issues. During the second cleaning, the hotel's cleaning staff left two of their rags in my room. I wrote a note, but received no response, giving me the impression they just thought 'oh well, it's in your room now' 😃. The third cleaning was very simplified, and some areas were clearly missed.

As for the front desk, their English proficiency was quite limited, and sometimes they couldn't understand what I was saying. However, the female staff generally maintained a smiling service, while some of the male staff were expressionless.

I originally chose this hotel because of its good location, close to the JR station, which was indeed convenient. It's also close to Shiba Shinmei Shopping Street, Shiba Park, and Tokyo Tower. But I'd say the service was mediocre 😂. The room was also quite small, and I felt there were too few power outlets.

I chose this hotel for one night because it's within walking distance of Studio Ghibli. It's a Japanese-style business hotel—simple, efficient, and with attentive service. The lobby has small items like facial cleanser and face masks available for guests to take. Located in a residential area, it's quiet and undisturbed at night, making it ideal for business trips or families.

Located conveniently across from Tokyo Dome City (LaQua mall) and right above a Don Quixote, which is open 24hrs, the convenience is amazing at the price point. It is also near a few train and subway lines within walking distance which makes it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and simple with ample space. Amenities are free to pick up from the 4th floor lobby so it’s not that troublesome. Did not get breakfast from the hotel which I understand to be at the Saizeriya on the 3rd floor of the building.

This hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Fukuoka's Tenjin Nishi-dori. It's directly across the street from Iwataya department store and Ichiran Ramen, with Tenjin Underground Mall, various shopping centers, Don Quijote, Zara, trendy fashion streets, the subway, and the Nishitetsu Tenjin express bus terminal all within easy reach. There are also tons of great restaurants within walking distance. The self-check-in process was super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and for Japan, it was actually quite spacious – enough room to open up two suitcases comfortably. The shower had excellent water pressure. My only minor complaints are that the sink is a bit low and the water pressure for the faucet is on the weaker side. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Fukuoka!

The location is truly excellent! It's right next to Hakata Station, surrounded by endless food options. Yodobashi Camera is right next door, and a short walk further brings you to Hankyu. If you've booked a day tour online, the meeting point is also conveniently at Hakata Station. Although the room is small, it has everything you need, even a makeup mirror is provided.

We stayed 2 nights here. The room was spacious and clean. The location was convenient and the back door goes right in the midst of tannuki strret. The welcome drink for each night of stay was a kind gesture that we greatly appreciated. What really wowed us was the great effort put into the breakfast buffet.to give all guests a sample of Hokkaido specialties like mini biutadon and ramen bowl, mini chirashi don, zangi or soup curry etc.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. The facilities were great, and there was an entrance area perfect for luggage. The triple room was incredibly spacious, which we absolutely loved. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Odori Park and Sapporo Station. Our room was on a corner, offering fantastic street views – perfect for photos! The breakfast set downstairs was delicious, and they also offer dinner which looked very appealing.
