Place was very convenient as I prefer to stay a little away from sukhumvit area, Rama9 is very convenient for public transport. Just 1 stop away from makkasan , and just 5-6mins walk away from central rama9 mall. Opposite is lotus supermarket with some night market spots. Job fai and the street are also nearby. Clean and modern room with very good house keeping service. Im used to tipping the house keepers , and they made a different character with towels each time, my housekeeper is LEK. Little things like these makes you want to book back the same hotel everytime I come back.

Coming back from Pattaya by bus, it took about 10 minutes to walk from Ekkamai station to the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient with a big suitcase. However, as I got closer to the hotel, the staff at the entrance were incredibly welcoming and immediately offered to help with my luggage. When I booked this hotel, I didn't have many expectations, just went for a recognized international chain. But during check-in, I noticed they also have a pool, and while taking the elevator, I saw there's a free shuttle service. Overall, it's quite a well-thought-out hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

Location is great if its your second time in bangkok as its a bit far away from the main tourist attractions. Hotel offers shuttle to the subway which is great!

Loved my stay here! The property is tucked away on Sukhumvit Soi 23, which is about a 10 minute walk to the Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. If you are feeling lazy, they have a shuttle, and there is a 7 Eleven right across the street which is super clutch.
The rooms are great! really modern and minimalist with huge windows that let in tons of light. It is also very practical for work, with plenty of USB ports and universal sockets everywhere. Plus, the infinity pool is a vibe.
I have to emphasize that the staff were really nice and made me feel so welcome. Also, the breakfast was a total highlight; they have an amazing Nutella machine that I am still thinking about. Such a great experience! All the staff were helpful even the housekeeping

The washer pressure & temp were so so good. 

Breakfast choices are rotated from day to day . So you never get bored. 

Everything you need is in the street . I like the 1st massage place .

Bed was abit hard for me but you can ask for a pillow topper .

The room was spacious and bright, and the hotel's location right on a commercial street made it incredibly convenient for going out, taking the subway, or catching a train. The new hardware facilities were all top-notch, really enhancing the guest experience. My child sitting by the bed reading a book painted such a beautiful picture...

This is my go-to hotel every time I'm back in town. During my stay, Cici, Jason, Ethan, Jaycee, Yuki, Vivian, Roberto, Stella, Kevin, and Eason provided exceptional and thoughtful service. My daily deliveries were always neatly placed outside my door, and even when I disturbed them late at night for a package, they handled it patiently. I had a lot of luggage when checking in and out, and the concierge team was excellent, helping me load it into the car. Everything was heartwarming – a truly fantastic team.

Very comfortable stay - spacious, comfortable beds and clean! Location is great with 2 malls just next door and 20-30 mins didi ride away from most popular tourist spots. Price is very reasonable for the quality compared to other similarly sized apartments. Special mention to great service by Fanny for helping to locate and shipping  a charger that I left behind. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in GuangZhou!

This is our third year booking this hotel apartment. We book the same room type every year because it's spacious enough for our three large suitcases. This time, however, we were inexplicably assigned a super small suite. When we spoke to the hotel, we were told all suites of that type were the same, even though Ctrip listed the room size as 58 square meters. They claimed they 'sell them interchangeably'. We asked for the room type we always stay in, but were told it was unavailable. However, after complaining to Ctrip, the hotel miraculously found an available room for us.

I've attached the floor plan for our level, which includes room sizes. According to this plan, the first room we got was only 50 square meters, and even the slightly larger one we switched to was just over 54 square meters – nowhere near the 58 square meters the hotel advertises on Ctrip. This hotel is engaging in false advertising.

Furthermore, we stayed on a non-smoking floor, but many guests on that floor were smoking. The smoke even seeped into our room through the air conditioning system, yet the hotel's smoke alarms didn't react at all. Every morning, when the cleaning staff opened other room doors to tidy up, the entire floor was filled with a strong smell of smoke. Is your hotel's non-smoking floor just for show?

Over the years, the hotel apartment's facilities have visibly aged, and many areas are poorly maintained. Housekeeping is also subpar, with many neglected spots, especially in the bathrooms.

All in all, we were very disappointed with this hotel apartment after this stay. Its service quality has significantly declined. If there are no improvements, we likely won't choose this place again in the future.

The apartment is very spacious. Main room has ensuite bathroom with bathtub. Toilet with electronic bidet seat. Second bedroom has a super single bed, we paid for an extra bed. Second toilet in kitchen is clean. Well equipped kitchen. There is washing machine and dryer as well. Just that the carpet is a bit worn out and initially there is a weird smell upon entering the apartment but after opening the windows & airing the place, all is good. Aircon and shower works well. Overall is great for us. There are security at lobby which is great. Staff are friendly and professional. Location is great. Steps away from VT101, walking distance to Grand View mall, many shopping malls and metro station.
