I’m a regular business traveller and this hotel is perfect. Good location. Good service. It’s close enough to the main Oxford Street by foot, and 5 min walking distance from Bond Street tube station, 20 min by car to Marylebone train station. 8 min by drive to Mayfair. Can’t ask for more really!

We were in London just for a few days to catch a couple of shows and enjoy a little break away. Booked the Bloomsbury as it looked nice. Importantly  it was well located within walking distance of many sights and close to an underground station for wider exploration. 
The public areas were very comfortable beautifully decorated, cosy and, more traditional places to chill and relax rather than, minimalist and ultra modern.
There was an open air, but sheltered veranda dining area at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was served in the main dining room, the full “Irish” was  very generous, but there were options for all tastes and preferences. On the floor above was a comfy bar for cocktails and an excellent bar meal. There was always space with a friendly atmosphere, the perfect spot for a night cap after a busy day.
We stayed in a standard king room which had plenty of space for our needs, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, if compact, was really well layed out and had a full size bath. Everywhere was spotless. 
I don’t think there was a fitness spa or pool so if those are key for you it may not suit. But it’s a lovely friendly, comfortable hotel for a short to medium stay in London. Enjoy !

The room is a bit small, but everything else is good. The service is very good

Excellent location- near the waterfront and attractions (for me, the Arnolfini and Watershed, where the film festival was held), and restaurants, cafes, etc. I had a room on the 6th floor, away from the waterfront, and it was great- roomy and quiet. Will definitely book again!

The room is comfortable, spacious and bright. The bed is especially comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When they learned that 10.5 was the last breakfast, the restaurant manager Cosca (not sure if it is spelled correctly) immediately exempted us from the full breakfast for two on the morning of the 5th. The overall living experience made my husband and I feel at home. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Cork, Ireland, I will stay at River Lee again!
