After checking in, we went to grab something and when we came back, our room key didn't work. As you can see from the video I shared, the hotel hallway is incredibly long, and I was assigned to a room at the very end (understandable since I requested a quiet room). However, due to a front desk error (this was the hotel's later explanation; initially, when I asked at the front desk, they couldn't explain it, and since my English isn't great, I contacted customer service directly), I ended up running back and forth. The hotel's elevators seem to have a strange design where some only go up to the 6th floor without any indication, making it quite confusing. For travelers choosing this hotel, who are usually on the go, no one has time to figure out how the elevators work. I'd advise against staying in this airport hotel unless you're in a mad rush, as there's a long connecting corridor to the airport, and you'll have to drag your luggage yourself. Hotels outside the airport usually have shuttles that drop you directly at the departure level. Also, I suspect the hotel's cleanliness isn't great, as I found dried shower gel drops in the bathroom.

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is right next to the Ariake Garden mall, practically seamlessly connected. There are plenty of dining options upstairs and shopping is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a large Aeon supermarket, and right outside its exit, at platform 1, you can catch the bus to Haneda Airport. There's also a big Muji store nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Ginza from its basement level. While the hotel is situated between two subway lines, neither is too far away, making this location excellent value for money. We booked a family room for two adults and two children, which had four beds. The bathroom and toilet were separate (wet and dry areas), and the room layout was quite good.

I stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Shiodome and had a pleasant experience overall.

The hotel is conveniently located within the Shiodome complex, making it easy to access public transportation and nearby attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western options. I also noticed that many international guests, especially Americans, were staying here, which gave the hotel a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

On the downside, the staff were just average not unfriendly, but not particularly warm or attentive either. The room was also smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the bathroom was very compact, with just enough space to move around comfortably. I expected a little more based on the pictures, but I understand that compact rooms are quite common in Tokyo.

One thing that could definitely be improved is the smoking area. The smoking cubicle only accommodates two people at a time. Since many guests including myself were smokers, there was often a queue during peak hours, which was quite inconvenient.

Overall, it’s a good hotel with a fantastic location and excellent breakfast. Just keep your expectations realistic regarding room size, and be prepared for the limited smoking facilities if you’re a smoker.

This is a continuation of my previous review. I had to book an extra night because I'd initially booked one day less. The hotel was able to merge both bookings when I checked in. Also, some guides mentioned that additional fees might be charged during check-in, but that wasn't the case. I only paid the amount shown on Trip.com, and didn't have to pay anything else upon arrival at the hotel.

The location is very convenient. Although it's a few minutes' walk, there are many subway stations nearby, so it's not tiring even with luggage. The front desk is great and offers luggage storage. The hotel is clean, quite spacious, and offers excellent value for money. They even provided samples of Sekkisei, which I'm now interested in buying!

Villa Fontaine Tokyo Kayabacho is a convenient and practical hotel, especially for a business trip. The location is excellent—very close to Kayabacho subway station and, in my case, also very close to my office, which made getting around Tokyo very easy.

The room is small, with just enough space for two single beds. There is no proper desk for working, only a very small table that is only large enough for a cup of coffee or a few personal items. So if you need to work extensively from your hotel room, the setup may not be ideal.  

Breakfast was also delicious.  The menu was mostly western.

The room was clean, although the interior and furnishings look a little dated. On the positive side, the air conditioning was well maintained and worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the summer.

Overall, it is a good, no-frills choice for a business trip if your priorities are cleanliness, convenience, and easy access to the subway rather than a spacious room or extensive in-room amenities.

The hotel is located on a quiet little street. A 7-Eleven is just a 2-minute walk away, and there are plenty of cafés nearby. Three different metro stations are within walking distance. The room is small but very cozy — clean, pleasantly scented, and equipped with a super comfortable bed. At the lobby, they offer all the necessary toiletries and free coffee. There's also a laundry room and even a smoking area. I highly recommend it.

This was my first trip to Tokyo, and I stayed at the Fendi Villa Hotel Tokyo Nihonbashi-Hakozaki. Firstly, the hotel is very close to T-CAT and the Hanzomon Line (Suitengumae Station), making transportation incredibly convenient. There are also convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby. Secondly, the hotel is located in the elegant Nihonbashi Hakozakicho area, which is very quiet. You won't hear much noise during the day, and your sleep at night will barely be disturbed. Thirdly, the front desk service was excellent, and the housekeeping was spot on. The room was very clean, and towels and slippers were replaced promptly. Lastly, I chose a queen room. While it's advertised for two people, it's actually perfect for one. It would be quite cramped for two. If you're traveling solo, I highly recommend it. All in all, I think it was a great stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance! Looking forward to my next trip to Tokyo! 😆✌

he room was a bit small for a couple, but everything was very clean and comfortable ✨ You can also buy the metro pass directly at the hotel, which made travelling around super easy. If you need to check out early in the morning, just drop the key into the machine provided — quick, smooth, and hassle-free

I booked this hotel to go to a concert at Tokyo Dome. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Dome. It's also pretty much a 10-minute walk to the subway station. There's a small coffee shop within 100m of the hotel's main entrance, and their coffee is absolutely delicious! I went every morning; the owner roasts their own beans. I even bought some beans to take home when I left. As a coffee lover, I actually liked the coffee shop more than the hotel itself.

Now for the downsides: I've never stayed in a room this small in Tokyo. In the twin room, you could barely open a single 24-inch suitcase... My friend and I ended up pushing the beds together just to get them open. The foot of the bed was practically against the TV wall; to get to the other side, you had to squeeze past sideways. I know Japanese hotels are compact, but this room still shocked me... especially since I paid over 1000 yen per night including breakfast.

Relatively new hotel in Umeda so condition still fine. The location is good because the whole Osaka Umeda station area is well connected, but the underground paths can be confusing because it is massive and you can get lost if you don't have a good sense of direction. In general, you can get to the hotel via Whity underground mall from JR or Hankyu station, look for Whity mall map online to have a better understanding of which exit to take (go to Whity East mall). Plenty of food options both above ground and underground.
Booked the superior double room which has an excellent open square layout instead of the typical hallway layout, so you have room to open your luggage case on the floor. 
The buffet breakfast was excellent, you can order either grilled salmon or mackerel, with plenty of other dishes. The matcha pudding was so good. The Japanese aunties working at the restaurant were so friendly. 
The public bath (not hot spring water, just hot water) was nice but I felt the water temperature was too high compared to the other baths I went to in Japan. The hot stone area was interesting but also too hot for me 😅

nice location which just within 8mins walking distance can get sannomiya transportation , it is very easy to get direct bus to kansai airport or Kobe airport 
The hotel surrounding got 7-11 and cafe/restaurant within walking distance can get it 
Besides the hotel got welcome drink, and everyday 5pm-8pm got free alcohol drinks section
Suggest for those need a place easy to get transportation
