We loved it stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand in Haneda Airport. 

The hotel was so easy to find, super conveniently located and really good value. Staff went above and beyond to support when we had a slight issue with the room (which felt well proportioned compared to other hotel rooms in Japan), and the brekkie buffet was great and just what we needed before a long flight.

This clean and comfortable hotel offers a spacious, quiet stay with excellent public transit access and an hourly shuttle to Tsukiji Market. While colocated with a shopping mall, its slightly remote location and extra fees for parking and the onsen may deter some travelers.The Highlights

Helpful Staff & Amenities: Handy lobby amenities and seamless luggage storage if you arrive early or have a late flight.

The Drawbacks
Out of the Way: It is situated a bit far from the main city center, though the area remains pleasantly quiet and peaceful.Extra Fees: Be prepared to pay extra for parking and the on-site onsen, as neither is complimentary.

Overall Verdict: A highly functional and comfortable stay that balances a peaceful, slightly off-the-beaten-path location with stellar transport links and a convenient shuttle. Ideal for travelers who prioritize space, cleanliness, and transit convenience over being right in the heart of the bustling city center.

The room was clean and a decent size for Tokyo. It was quite convenient for getting around by subway, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. There's a Don Quijote nearby, which is the Ginza main store, and it has a huge selection of items, perfect for some last-minute shopping before heading home.

This is a continuation of my previous review. I had to book an extra night because I'd initially booked one day less. The hotel was able to merge both bookings when I checked in. Also, some guides mentioned that additional fees might be charged during check-in, but that wasn't the case. I only paid the amount shown on Trip.com, and didn't have to pay anything else upon arrival at the hotel.

The bus station is right next door, which was really convenient for the last day of my trip. The hotel room was decent, I could open a large suitcase, and the bathroom wasn't small either. I think it's a good place, and I'd stay here again if I have the chance.

This is arguably the biggest room I've ever stayed in Japan, truly the largest! 

**Amenities:** Very comprehensive. On the first floor, you can pick up coffee and toiletries as needed. 

**Cleanliness:** Very clean, my mother really liked it too. 

**Environment:** Not far from Kayabacho Station Exit 3. There are many convenience stores nearby, and even a supermarket next door. 

**Service:** Excellent, I really liked it.

I felt like I was given the wrong room. It was listed as 16m², but it felt nothing like the 16m² rooms I've stayed in at Osaka hotels. This hotel room is genuinely tiny, feeling more like 14m². I could only open one suitcase.

The service was good; they offer free luggage storage, and the front desk staff was excellent. The environment was also pleasant, with fresh air throughout the hotel. Do note that the lobby is underground. The nearest subway station is a bit of a walk.

They only empty the trash and replace towels daily; full room cleaning is only done every three days. The duvet was quite small and uncomfortable to sleep with, but the bed itself was very soft and comfortable.

If you don't mind the small space, I'd generally recommend it. However, I really feel like the front desk gave me the wrong room. Mine was so small, completely incomparable to what I've experienced in Osaka.

Not too far from the subway, a perfectly acceptable walking distance. If you're going to Ginza, I recommend staying here. Other areas might be a bit far. It's in an office building district, so it's relatively quiet, not as noisy as tourist areas. Every time I go to Japan, I choose places like this – a bit away from the popular spots, but still conveniently located near the subway. The hotel offers a free happy hour in the afternoon, and the service is quite good. The price is also very nice, although the room is indeed quite small. However, the hotel itself is not small; it has a lot of rooms.

The location is very convenient. Although it's a few minutes' walk, there are many subway stations nearby, so it's not tiring even with luggage. The front desk is great and offers luggage storage. The hotel is clean, quite spacious, and offers excellent value for money. They even provided samples of Sekkisei, which I'm now interested in buying!

Hotel staff were polite and welcoming during our stay and the location is conveniently within walking distance to local transport. Wide lobby and upon entrance there’s a nice quiet public dining area to the right kept very clean with access to hotel Wifi; ideal for working/studying any time of the day or during the breakfast buffet.

The heated floor tiles in the large public bath were wonderfully comfortable, emanating a pleasant warmth from below. I also tried the bedrock bath, and I realized why it was so hot after forgetting to lay down a towel. The exhaust fan, air conditioning, and refrigerator were all incredibly quiet, and the electric kettle felt very high-quality.

However, the toiletries were quite poor, including the shampoo, conditioner, showerhead, and hairdryer.

First and foremost, a huge and sincere thank you to the staff! 🌹

I accidentally left my bag in the dining area overnight and only realized it the next morning... I felt like my world was falling apart! 🤣

I immediately rushed to the front desk to ask if a bag had been found, not really expecting much. But when the staff member asked for my room number, a glimmer of hope appeared. Then, she appeared before me with my bag, and I was so emotional I almost cried! Thank you again! 💐 You truly showed me what honesty, security, and genuine kindness mean.

The hotel itself is super convenient, just about 200 meters from JR Sannomiya Station. Everything you could need is nearby, and it's so easy to get anywhere by JR. When we left, the Limousine Bus stop for Kansai Airport was also close, within 500-600 meters, making our departure seamless.

From 5 PM to 8 PM, there's a fantastic happy hour with free drinks and snacks. We enjoyed it for all three days of our stay – great atmosphere! It really added to the fun of our visit 🥐🧇🥜🍪🍫🧈🥂🍭. While the room wasn't huge, for us, as sightseers not laden with shopping bags, the size was perfectly adequate.

Another thing to praise -> I booked a king room for 2 adults and 1 child. On the day of check-in, I didn't even mention anything, just checked in normally. When I opened the door, the room had one small bed and one large bed! 👏👏👏 (Perhaps when they copied our passports, they noticed our child was older and thought two beds would be better). A massive THANK YOU! 🌹🌹🌹 All in all, if I have the chance to visit Kobe again, I will definitely choose to stay here!
