Let's start with the downsides. The food could definitely be improved; breakfast was too salty, and the freshness of the ingredients needs work. Room cleanliness had a few issues, and the towels had a strong disinfectant smell. Now for the positives. The overall environment and design were great, and the service was excellent. Staff proactively asked if we needed anything. The front desk lady, in particular, didn't make excuses when we raised issues; she immediately offered solutions and anticipated guest needs. Restaurant staff were also observant and quick to offer help. They truly excel at putting people first. I'll definitely return in the future, hoping for even more improvements.

The room matched the pictures perfectly! I really loved the simple yet stylish decor. All the facilities were beautifully arranged and the cleanliness was impeccable, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. The location is convenient for getting around. The front desk lady even upgraded my room and gave me a complimentary breakfast. It was a fantastic stay overall!

After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

This is probably the closest hotel to the east gate of Wansuishan Mountain. Traveling with a child, choosing this hotel over a guesthouse was definitely the right decision. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic standards, and after a tiring day of playing, having the hotel just across the street was perfect. The hotel staff were very polite, and the front desk lady was lovely and very responsive. I'd like to specifically mention that the breakfast here is excellent, very suitable for children, and also great for adults who are health-conscious. We initially booked for 2 nights, and the service, environment, and location were all good, so we extended our stay for another 2 nights. If we come back to visit again, we will definitely stay here. PS: I wasn't quite used to the local Henan food, so the hotel breakfast really helped fill that gap.

The room is very regional and very clean. When traveling with children, you should choose a hotel with a clean and hygienic environment. The children were very excited and loved it. The service was also very good. The lady at the front desk was very gentle. The location is also very convenient, very close to the scenic spots. Breakfast is very rich and tastes good 👍

Facilities: Decent, quite new. Cleanliness: Acceptable, but some details were a bit dirty, like the counter by the entrance and the round table in the room – I had to wipe them down myself. Environment: The surrounding area has convenient transportation, snack shops, and breakfast places. There are electric bikes available. It's not far from Wansuishan or Laoheda Night Market, a quick ride on a shared bike. The hotel upgraded our room to a sunroom. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive to requests. Housekeeping was also prompt. It would be even better if they could improve on the minor details. Lastly, the overall ventilation in the room was a bit poor, especially in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was fine. If I come back to Kaifeng, this would still be one of my hotel choices because the service compensated for other shortcomings. The staff even gave a small gift to my child, which was a thoughtful touch.

It seems like it just opened this year, as there are a few hardware aspects that could be improved. For example, the air conditioning is quite loud, even on the lowest setting, and the draft from it hits both the side of the bed and the sofa. The sink drain also needs some improvement to prevent odors. The owner has received this feedback and plans to make improvements. Overall, it's a unique guesthouse run with great care, and being a 5-minute walk from the Qingming Shanghe Garden Welcome Gate is a definite highlight.

We loved that we could borrow Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free to wear out and about. The breakfast buffet was a fantastic blend of Eastern and Western options, with congee, noodles, pastries, and coffee, plus Henan's special *Hulatang* (spicy soup). Highly recommend!

After playing every day, you can quickly return to the hotel to rest, recharge your energy, and prepare for the next day's trip. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by convenient transportation, and all kinds of living facilities are available, making shopping and dining very convenient. However, the hotel's breakfast is disappointing. At this price range, I expected to enjoy a rich and varied breakfast of high quality, but the actual experience was quite different. The variety of meals is scarce, and the food served every day is almost the same, lacking in characteristics. Although the hotel's breakfast needs to be improved, its superior geographical location still gives it a great advantage in travel convenience. I hope the hotel can pay attention to the breakfast issue, enrich the variety of meals, improve the quality of food, and provide guests with a better stay experience.
