Great
GGuest UserPlace is convenient to all the different shopping streets in Takamatsu. It's quite a distance away from the pier for walking, but there are many different bus services available so it's at max a 16 minutes away from main station and there is a bus stop point right in front of the hotel. Hotel feels relatively new, the standard double room is small but comfortable. Recommended!
GGuest UserMy friend and I stayed at Webase two single rooms during our trip for Setouchi Triennale 2025. Although it is a bit far from the station and Takamatsu Port (20 minutes on foot), it is very close to shopping area, and the food streets, Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly English / Mandarins speaking staffs, easy self check-in/out. All was as expected and described.
Ii would walk 500 milWhat a nice hotel it is
Public transportation like subway and buses is accessible
First of all its price is cost-effective and it is located near downtown and I could enjoy delicious japanese foods
To add more renting cycles is on the house
Of course staffs are very kind and I was moved by their warm hospitality
I would like to thank them again
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to a bustling shopping street, and the airport shuttle bus stops directly in front of the hotel. For the return journey, the shuttle stop is just across the street, which is incredibly convenient. The bus stop for Ritsurin Garden is directly opposite the hotel, making it very easy to get there. Takamatsu Port and the JR station are just a few minutes' walk away, offering great accessibility. There's a large supermarket inside the JR station that's worth exploring, and the shopping street is full of diverse items, perfect for a shopping spree. A pharmacy and a Lawson convenience store are right next to the hotel, adding to the convenience. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, with the curry rice and beef rice being particularly good. The hotel environment is pleasant, generally quiet and clean, and the front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and polite. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserThe facilities and location are good, but it is not a standard full-service hotel. It is a bit between a B&B and a hotel. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. If you want to cook something yourself, you can, but there is no service. There is only one service staff at the front desk downstairs, and he is not there 24 hours a day. He has a certain working hours. Outside of that working hours, there is no one downstairs, and you basically have to do everything yourself. We don't have a phone number in Japan, so calling a taxi is a bit tricky. They are friendly here, unlike regular hotels: helping customers call a taxi is their job. If you meet a staff member, you can ask him to help call a taxi, but if you meet him, there is nothing you can do.
It is a little closer to go shopping in the city center from here, but it is not within walking distance. If you come with a family or a large number of people, it will be advantageous to live here. Three or four people can live in one room and the space is slightly larger.
However, if I come next time, I will still choose to stay in another full-service hotel. The service is still complete in all aspects, much more comfortable, and convenient to the airport
DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.
Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality.
A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience.
While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.
GGuest UserLocated in the heart of the bustling commercial district, the hotel boasts elegant Art Deco decor. The front desk staff who checked me in spoke English, and interestingly, on my check-out day, both front desk agents spoke Chinese. The room's furniture and lighting subtly exuded an old-money aesthetic, feeling natural and effortlessly sophisticated.
JJiaxingniUpon returning to Takamatsu from the islands, I booked this hotel and opted for a smoking single room this time. Its location is excellent, very close to Takamatsu Port and shopping districts. The room, though compact, was perfectly equipped with everything I needed. In the evening, I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the bathtub.
HHeizhubushizhuThe room is bigger than expected, but the facilities are a bit old, basically clean, and the service is normal. Check-in and room are not in the same building, but it is not a big problem. There is a shampoo bar in the check-in lobby where you can pick up items by yourself (it feels like a promotional spot), and there are disposable items and shampoo and shower gel in the room.
The advantage is that for our itinerary, the location is better, just opposite Takamatsu Station and close to the pier. It is convenient to take a bus to and from Osaka and take a boat to several islands, but it is far from the center of Takamatsu. However, there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so eating is not a problem~
For hotels with Breakfast in Takamatsu, the average price on weekdays is $127, and on weekends (Friday–Saturday) is $162.
