"The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The best part was the convenient location; it's just a 5-minute walk whether you're taking a car or catching a boat for island hopping. From the room, you can see both the ocean and the park, offering a lovely view! You definitely have to try the upstairs bar; their anniversary special cocktail is quite good right now."

"Perfect located small Hotel near the walking street with countless options to enjoy a coffee or have lunch and dinner. Try Shamrock Bar around the corner for great Japanese Whisky! Rooms were rather small, but very clean and well equipped. All Amenities can be picked up on the ground floor. Train to the port is walkable."

"First off, the email from the hotel was incredibly polite and considerate, making me feel their hospitality even before my arrival. When I needed a taxi during my stay, they called multiple companies for me, which was a huge help. The cleaning staff were also very cheerful and always greeted me with a smile. I stayed for several nights, and when I requested only a towel change without room cleaning, they left new towels along with a mineral water exchange ticket at my door, which I could redeem at the front desk. I thought this was a really excellent service. The room itself was clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. It was also great to have a Plasmacluster air purifier. Although I didn't use it, there was also a De'Longhi kettle. The shampoo was POLA, and the hand soap was KOSE (it smelled lovely). Toiletries like toner, body towels, cotton swabs, and pajamas were available next to the front desk, where you could take what you needed. The shoe deodorizer and extra pillows were a particularly nice touch. The cafe au lait served in the lounge next to the front desk was absolutely delicious, and I had several cups during my stay. The room felt like a standard business hotel single, but the staff's service was as excellent as you'd find in a city or resort hotel. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Takamatsu Station, or a one-fare taxi ride. There's a drugstore and convenience store right next door, and a large, lovely shopping arcade across the street, making the location very convenient. This shopping street was impressive. It was my first time visiting Takamatsu, and it's a well-maintained, beautiful city. I'd love to come back again, and when I do, I'd definitely choose to stay at this hotel."

"After some thought, I decided to choose a hotel near Takamatsu Station, as my itinerary for the following days involved early morning train or ferry travel. This proved to be the right decision; the hotel is not only close to the station but also brand new. The free breakfast offers basic options every day, but also a different special daily! The facilities are complete, and they even provide recycling bins."

"A wonderfully located hotel right in front of the Takamatsu Station. It is also relatively new hotel. So amenities and room are very client centric! Onsen is rather small but clean. Breakfast is at a Izakaya on the ground level. It is a set meal. One can choose from 3 options. We had the same food for two days. The hotel is literally across the Takamatsu Castle."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The location is excellent - just a short 5-minute walk to the main shopping area, with plenty of dining options nearby. It made exploring the neighbourhood incredibly convenient. The room itself is small but it was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Despite the compact size, the room was comfortable enough for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the onsen facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor onsens, though they are not large, they create a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. I also had free Japanese noodles and ice creams at night times. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay."

"Even though it was a mixed dorm, everyone was really quiet, so my sleep wasn't affected at all. The toilets and showers were never crowded as people used them at different times. The location is excellent; there are several shopping streets nearby, Ritsurin Garden is only about a 10-minute walk, and Takamatsu Port is roughly 20 minutes on foot. On my last day, I found some delicious gelato nearby! 😋"

"Very good. Because I didn't know how to use the hotel's equipment, the front desk guy was very considerate and accompanied me to the room to help me fix it. I am really happy to come to Takamatsu. This is a trustworthy hotel."

"We have stayed in many Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Japan, and we’ve trusted the Daiwa Roynet brand very much. However, the Takamatsu property is the worst we’ve experienced so far, and after this stay we will be more cautious about choosing to stay at Daiwa Roynet in the future. The facilities are very old and urgently need refurbishment. The cleanliness of our room was also quite shocking. There was hair in the bathroom and bathtub, and hair on the pajamas they provided, as shown in the photo. There were stains throughout the room as well. The bedding used is also smaller than the bed as shown in the picture. If you’re planning day trips to the islands, the hotel isn’t very close to the port. There are plenty of shops nearby, though, so the overall location is ok."
