"The staff were all very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so it was quite noisy in the mornings, which affected my sleep. The location is excellent, very close to both the subway and tram stations, and there are malls and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient."

"Whenever I'm in Vienna and need to stay overnight near the airport, I usually pick this hotel. The rooms aren't huge, but it's super close to the airport. There's an underground tunnel that leads directly to the airport, though I couldn't find the exit from the airport side. However, if you cross a small road from the hotel, you can spot it easily."

"Location: Super close to Vienna's main train station, just a 3-5 minute walk. Since it's not in the old town, the surrounding area is a bit average, but there are still a few restaurants. Plus, Vienna Main Station itself is a great spot for foodies. Facilities: For a budget hotel, the facilities are decent. The room size is quite large for European standards, and the amenities feel relatively new. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the breakfast – an automatic cheese slicer and a waffle maker are pretty high-end for a budget place, and the breakfast itself was good, perfect for those who enjoy a Western-style spread. Service: The hotel service was quite good. The front desk even provided two glass cups, which were handy for drinking water and brushing teeth. They also offer luggage storage. Overall: It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation. It's very close to Belvedere Palace and Schönbrunn Palace isn't too far either, making it ideal for travelers arriving or departing Vienna by train. However, if you're looking to experience the city's culture, staying in the old town would be a better choice."

"The transportation is incredibly convenient, with bus stops and a subway station right outside. The room was quite clean and offered excellent value for money. However, the room lighting was a bit dim, and the bedside lamp was quite harsh. Although there's an elevator, you still have to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs because the elevator stops on a half-landing."

"I stayed in Vienna for 3 nights and booked a hotel right by the station, so the location was excellent and very convenient. I even managed a day trip to Budapest and Prague, starting early in the morning, which was comfortable! The hotel is very clean and has a water dispenser. I personally loved having laundry facilities... However, there was no air conditioning in the room, and since the temperature was over 30 degrees during my stay, it was too hot to sleep. They really should install AC. It was much cooler outside. Also, the check-in process, as many reviews mentioned, was quite complicated. I think they should have at least one staff member dedicated to assisting guests. Everyone seemed to be struggling with it."

"Stayed for two nights in July. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across the street, just a three-minute walk to a row of hotels if you turn left when you exit. Just make sure to exit through the door near the Spar supermarket. We were a party of one adult and two children, and the sofa bed was already made up when we entered the room. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The shower didn't have a door, which was a bit awkward. It had air conditioning and a mini-fridge, but no kettle, though I did see some guests borrowing one from the front desk. Getting to the city center is super convenient; you can just take the metro from the train station."

"The location is excellent, right across the street from the train station. There are stores like DM and Aldi nearby, which makes shopping very convenient. On the first floor, there's a water dispenser with cold and hot water, so you can refill your own bottle. The room was clean and tidy, but there were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, so make sure to bring your own."

"Ok place . I was upset as a regular customer that the staff its all online and skeleton when not that their english us awful and manners whilst soeaking my language us equally as bad . I wished to change a future booking as i wouldve overstayed in schengen, they were unprepared to accommodate my request which was upsetting and says alot about how they think about their customers. A changed in 2 days ! From 2 week booking . Theyve gone down in my estimation. Get none austrian staff who can speak english properly, tbh the best english speaker was the polish cleaning lady and she was very pleasant . Also i queried the vent not working in tge bathroom twice , never heard any response from the house technician. Ive used smartments in bavaria and all their staff are german and soeak adequate english. Shame they've stopped putting toasters and kettles in rolms and having less staff on between staff hours of 10 till 4. The reception staff used to be very good. Need to up their game . These are my only negatives of smartments"
