"Overall very pleasant experience. The room was extremely clean and spacious. Basics like hand wash, shower gel were provided. Location was excellent being beside the bus and train station - meaning easy access to Vienna City centre as well as routes to other countries. Only downside was the slight noise from outside of either bins banging and clashing and the odd train passing by, but expected when booking. Even without air con the room remained at a regulated temperature during our stay in March. The only major draw back is the check in check out service, it needs to be made slightly clearer as to how the process works. Upon arrival I was not aware I had to download the Hotelbird app to check in, so on a Saturday and Sunday when no one is available at the desk we had to wait for someone already staying in the hotel to let us in. From there it’s fairly easy you check in on the iPads and collect your room key. Finally, the smartments complex doesn’t allow you to leave your luggage with them, that’s the only draw back to the amenities provided. Now knowing how the check in service works I would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was great. Very spacious. Has everything you need. Location is quite far from city center (40min walk). But easily reachable within +- 5 minutes by metro so not a big deal at all. It being only a 7 minute walk from the central station also makes it a great option for early morning departures. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely highly recommend it for early departures or if a good surrounding environment is not a must. Notable Downsides: - No safe - No special amnenities like throwaway razors. - Only one towel each (4 nights)"

"What worked well: The apartment was exceptionally clean, which immediately set a positive tone. The Studio Executive room was thoughtfully laid out and came with a well-equipped kitchenette, making longer stays very comfortable. The shower water pressure was strong, and the elevator access to all floors was a big help, especially when travelling with luggage. Having an onsite launderette with both washer and dryer was a real bonus and added to the practicality of the stay. Overall service was efficient and professional. Comfort & facilities: The bed was firm, which I personally appreciated, though the pillow quality could be improved as it felt rather flat. Airflow in the room was slightly stale at times, so better ventilation would enhance comfort. Areas for improvement: The open shower design would benefit from at least a modesty curtain, as it currently feels quite exposed. Additionally, the hand soap dispenser by the sink was cracked and could not dispense soap, so it clearly needs replacement. Conclusion: Jimmy’s Apartments Emerald delivers very well on cleanliness, functionality, and practical amenities. With small enhancements to ventilation, bathroom privacy, and soft-furnishing details, it could move from a solid stay to an excellent one—especially for business or extended visits."

"It always depends on what you're comparing it to, and which room type with what amenities you book... The rooms are generally okay, and the location is excellent. The same cannot be said for the meager breakfast, which costs 19 EUR. There isn't even scrambled eggs or anything similar, just a single hard-boiled egg. The mini bread rolls aren't worth the price either, and neither is the selection of cold cuts, etc. You're better off going next door, where there's a fantastic bakery (the kind that really spoils you). Since coffee/tea is free at the hotel anyway, spending 19 EUR on the hotel breakfast makes little sense, at least for me..."

"This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in in Europe. The room was very large, spacious, bright, and well-soundproofed, quiet and clean. Although it was a smart check-in system, communicating with them by phone was very convenient, and they were very helpful. I initially stayed in a room close to the entrance, so the sound of the door closing was a bit disturbing my sleep. Therefore, I called them to ask them to change my room, and they helped me find a very quiet one, which I was very happy with!"

"Great Stay in a Prime Location We stayed in a ”Wilde Bedroom” for three nights and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious, with a little pantry for light meals. It was great to have self-laundry on the same floor (3rd). The location is perfect, with many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed dinner at ”Restaurant Vienne/OnurChefs.” In addition, it’s close to attractions like Stephansplatz and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. One minor drawback was finding the hotel entrance; clearer signage would greatly enhance the overall experience. Also, having a vacuum cleaner in the room would be a bonus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!"

"The cleanliness, facilities, and heating are all excellent. There's a bus stop right in front, and while the subway is within walking distance, construction on the way makes taking the bus much more convenient. It's easy to get to central Vienna and tourist attractions, and for the price, the facilities are very spacious and good. However, it's more of a residence/Airbnb concept; you'll get an email with instructions to check-in online, receive a code, and find your room independently. If that sounds bothersome, a regular hotel might be a better choice."

"The self check-in here is a total game changer, no need to wait for anyone. The whole place works with codes, even the chill lounge area which is super cool. I arrived early and could leave my bags in their storage, so I didn't have to drag them around. The room itself? Pure fire! Super clean, modern, and actually well-planned. Plus, it's so close to the Metro and the S7 train to the airport. 10/10 vibes."

"Wonderful, spacious apartment. Everything is clean, including an ironing board, dryer, iron, microwave, stovetop, and all the necessary utensils, a coffee machine with capsules, and a dishwasher. There's a washer and dryer in the common area. The city center is easily accessible by tram. There are supermarkets nearby where you can buy everything you need for breakfast. We were very pleased."
