The Leo Grand

9.6/10
Amazing

The Leo Grand Hotel is really hard to fault. I don't know why it is only a 4-star hotel, but it is a 5-star hotel from facilities to services. First of all, the location is great. You can walk to the commercial street and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Other attractions such as the Art Museum, the Golden Hall, and the Opera House are all within walking distance. In addition, the service is unlimited food and drink in the Mini Bar, including beer, water, various beverages, and bulls. You can also order more after drinking. There is also a welcome wine in each room, which is a bottle of delicious white wine. Very considerate. In addition, the room, decoration, design is very exquisite, and the room size is very suitable. I booked two rooms this time, and I asked the hotel to try to be next to each other. The hotel gave me two rooms, 31 and 32. I was surprised to find that they were not only next to each other, but also had a door, which gave us an independent space. If the outer door is closed, the doors of the two rooms inside can be left open, making it convenient to move around. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. Exquisite! Exquisite! Exquisite! It is a kind of enjoyment to serve it like afternoon tea and eat it in the hotel's artistic restaurant. In short, I would like to recommend this hotel to all my friends who come to Vienna. It is really good.

The Amauris Vienna - Relais & Châteaux

This hotel exceeded my expectations. First, let me talk about the service, which I would say is exceptional. Our room was cleaned meticulously every day, with two services, one in the morning and one in the evening. The room itself was also very spacious, which is a pleasant surprise as European hotel rooms tend to be smaller; the size of this room was just perfect for me. Secondly, the location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get to any attraction. Just a short walk to the right from the hotel entrance is the Golden Hall. They even thoughtfully provide umbrellas on rainy days. Thirdly, the hotel perfectly blends modern and classic styles. You'll find a very classical elevator in the lobby, but if you have luggage, there's a separate modern elevator available. Fourthly, the price of this hotel is also quite reasonable. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, dining, and drinking options. If I ever have the chance to visit Vienna again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

I stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be. The rooftop bar also offers a nice view. There's a gym and a pool downstairs too. Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good. The room had high ceilings, and the view outside the window was also pleasant. Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall). From the hotel, you can reach Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, or Hofburg Palace within 20 minutes by metro or tram. By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose). Public transport is excellent; the metro and trams are very well-developed, and they run late, pretty much covering everything you'd need. The CAT goes directly from the airport to City Park in one stop, taking only 16 minutes.

The hotel is very close to the Votive Church and has some great cafes nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Sisi Museum. The room layout was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. The window view, as shown in the video, was beautiful and very Viennese.

The location is great, about a 5-minute walk from the train station, and you can reach various attractions by bus in 15-30 minutes. The hotel lobby has a strong design aesthetic, and the rooms are quite spacious. The mini-bar drinks and snacks are complimentary, and there's an electric kettle. Breakfast is a mix of à la carte and buffet, with a good variety at the buffet. It's a shame the hotel changed from Andaz to Hyatt after I booked, so I didn't get to experience the Andaz amenities.

Pros: - The room was spacious, with a very high ceiling. - The interior was classically decorated. - The windows were well-insulated, so despite being next to the street, it wasn't noisy at night. Cons: - The furniture was old. Two days in a row, I found rivets from the furniture on the carpet, which could be dangerous if you accidentally stepped on them. One day, I noticed a leg missing from a stool. I notified the front desk, but when I returned to my room, I found that the maintenance staff had removed the desk and chair. - Breakfast was quite busy with tour groups. - At night, I could hear the pipes, the hinges of the sliding door and the room door, and the creaking of the wooden floor.

Excellent Accessibility to Airport and City Center The subway, airport transfers, and walking to the city center were all incredibly convenient and great. Having a large supermarket and food court right in front of the hotel was also extremely convenient. Even with the scorching June weather, the hotel's proximity allowed us to easily pop back in from exploring the city to cool down, which was fantastic.^ The lounge access was also satisfying (though closing at 8 PM was a slight disappointment), and we made good use of the food and beverages, especially given Vienna's high prices. We upgraded from a city panorama view to a park view room, which was a great decision. The eye-level view of St. Stephen's Cathedral and the park was truly healing for all three days we were there.♡

Good hotel, not in the city center, but easily reachable by metro in 15 minutes. The metro station is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and were tidied daily. There's a good, complete breakfast. The fitness center is small, but has the basic equipment for a workout. The service is very pleasant; the staff are responsive and polite.

Personally, I found it rather average. From the window opposite my room, everyone could see everything clearly, and conversely, if I didn't draw my curtains during the day, others could see me too. Upon entering, there was a sticky mess on the bar that had stuck to my room key. I contacted Ctrip customer service, and they assisted in cleaning it again. Later that evening, the hotel, probably trying to make up for my bad impression, sent me two pillowcases embroidered with my initials and a bottle of Austrian sparkling wine. Unfortunately, I had a cold and didn't touch them. I could only take the pillowcase with me because of the name on it. Those things aside, what I found most unbearable was the dim lighting in the bathroom, which was very unfriendly to women. The rooftop restaurant, however, deserves five stars!

It is located at the edge of 1 District so it’s close to many places of interest, food, and shopping. The hotel is clean and spacious and also very near the underground subway which brings you basically to many places in Vienna. Two things which I didn’t fancy was the small gym in the basement with the lack of strength equipment in general, and that they only give you one bottle of complimentary water per day.
