"First of all, a big thank you to the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Donauwalzer and would unreservedly recommend it. The room was very well equipped – with a TV, radio, and a coffee and tea machine, it had everything you could need. I particularly appreciated the air conditioning, which provided a pleasant cool-down given the high temperatures of the past few days. Although my room faced the street, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to sleep very well. My only minor critique was the hairdryer, which I wasn't entirely impressed with. Otherwise, everything was truly excellent. I would definitely stay here again anytime I'm in Vienna."

"We came to Vienna for a few days and stayed at The Grand Ferdinand. It's a majestic and beautifully designed hotel. The breakfasts are superb, and the service is excellent; the staff helps with everything and everyone is smiling. There's a pool on the 8th floor with a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is located in the center of Vienna, which is very convenient. We were very happy with our choice. We thank the hotel for the quality service, but the sink next to the bed isn't very practical."

"The fatal flaw: untrustworthiness! That's a huge no-no. The staff's attitude was good, but the hotel's room sales integrity is a major issue. No matter how good the facilities, I wouldn't dare stay here. After all, it's only a few days of vacation, and I can't risk them reneging on a booking even during the off-season. (The staff probably didn't know I understand German, even though my English is better. They thought their internal communication was private, but I understood everything. That made it even more frustrating.) Over a month in advance, I booked a twin room for three days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), paid a deposit, and did an online check-in ahead of time. When I arrived at past 6 PM, I was told the Saturday room was booked, and only Sunday was available. Due to the time difference, trying to contact Trip.com only resulted in automated replies. The hotel claimed they would upgrade me to a king room. That's ridiculous! If this hotel didn't have twin rooms, my companion and I wouldn't have chosen it in the first place. They even implied we were getting a good deal, saying we could have anything from the snack bar – really?? After I stood my ground, they agreed to add an extra bed. The so-called upgrade was a corner room, which was larger because of its irregular shape, but sitting on the toilet meant getting uncomfortably close to the radiator. The soundproofing was terrible, and being near a major intersection meant double the noise of cars whizzing by. I contacted Trip.com again the next day, and they finally managed to change me back to a twin room. But after all that hassle on the first day of a three-day trip, how could it be enjoyable? I left my travel adapter on the wall when I changed rooms and forgot to take it. The housekeeping staff threw it away directly, and it was gone when I came back in the afternoon. Honestly, I'm beyond words."

"This is the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in. The overall style is very European, including the corridors decorated with many small paintings, which is very romantic. In addition, the service is very good. You can order a variety of eggs for breakfast, which is much more advanced than a complete buffet."

"Good hotel, not in the city center, but easily reachable by metro in 15 minutes. The metro station is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and were tidied daily. There's a good, complete breakfast. The fitness center is small, but has the basic equipment for a workout. The service is very pleasant; the staff are responsive and polite."
