Anonymous UserI had a fantastic stay at Jimmy’s Apartment Lory and can confidently say it is one of the best places to stay in Vienna.
The location is excellent and incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The apartment is within easy walking distance of trams, buses, and the underground, making it simple to reach all major attractions. There are also supermarkets and other essential services nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable.
The reservation and booking process was seamless from start to finish. The communication system is very efficient, and the check-in process was smooth, well-organized, and easy to follow. The reservation team was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with a kitchenette and everything needed for a pleasant stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Jimmy’s Apartment to anyone planning to visit Vienna. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

I stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be.
The rooftop bar also offers a nice view.
There's a gym and a pool downstairs too.
Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good.
The room had high ceilings, and the view outside the window was also pleasant.
Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall).
From the hotel, you can reach Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, or Hofburg Palace within 20 minutes by metro or tram.
By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose).
Public transport is excellent; the metro and trams are very well-developed, and they run late, pretty much covering everything you'd need.
The CAT goes directly from the airport to City Park in one stop, taking only 16 minutes.

Guest UserThis was my second stay here, and the hotel's location, cleanliness, and breakfast are all excellent. Most major attractions are within a kilometer's walk. My only gripe is that I booked it much earlier this time, and the price ended up being a third less if I had booked later – that stings a bit!

the solo traveler 3unbeatable location in terms of airport transit accessibility. there is a train station right across the road, and it connects directly (no stops) to the airport via express train(CAT). also, the major vienna tourist spots are all very near(walking distance) or easy to go because, again, the train station is so close.
the breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and were pretty tasty. the room felt clean enough upon arrival, although i did find a previous guest’s wifi info card under the bed. you can drink from the tap. the water tasted good enough.

Guest UserThe cleanliness here was a huge step up! I had to check out of another hotel because the bedding there had obvious stains and hair. In contrast, every mirrored surface here was sparkling clean. It's also great that there's a shared kitchen if you want to cook, and the room has air conditioning and blackout curtains, so I slept very comfortably. The only minor downsides were a slightly damp smell in the bathroom and, as other reviews mentioned, the door doesn't have a deadbolt. Staff would often open the door without knocking, which made me feel a bit unsafe at night. I hope they can add an interior deadbolt or guests remember to bring a doorstop.
As for the location, it's about a 20-minute drive from the city center, but the tram stop is right outside, so personally, I didn't find it to be an issue.

Overall: a pleasant stay, a good service that lifted up the overall experience - bravo to George and Luca (the lady receptionist)
Location: fairly close to the centre and main attractions, roughly 15-20 mins walk to the city centre, especially good for those who like to walk like myself! Otherwise, close to the tram and subway, 3-5 mins walk.
Rooms: a bit tired, especially those carpets… but some very nice touch in the room, including a coffee machine, raincoat hooks for jackets just when you enter the room, slippers. Fun fact, there is no shower curtain in my room so the floor was wet after my shower but George offered solutions and got it fixed, well done mate!
Breakfast: a good choice, highlights are some very cool items, like a meat cutter, honeycomb, cakes etc, and the best part is, it lasts from 7 to 12pm (never seen one lasts that late from all my hotel stays across the globe, good for late owls)!
Cleanness: it’s alright, but found hair in the towels, and a bit dusty on certain parts of the room (guess it is also because of its central location that’s why!)
Service: top-notch! George and Luca and the guy who works at the night shift always greet you with a smile, offer help whenever needed (even helped plan my Budapest trip), and completely changed my mind towards the stay! For hotels like this, if you cannot change the hardware immediately to push it to a 4.5-star, the best thing is to focus on the software, like their service, and I’m glad they did, so thank you! Amazing job and work guys!

Roman899We came to Vienna for a few days and stayed at The Grand Ferdinand. It's a majestic and beautifully designed hotel. The breakfasts are superb, and the service is excellent; the staff helps with everything and everyone is smiling. There's a pool on the 8th floor with a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is located in the center of Vienna, which is very convenient. We were very happy with our choice. We thank the hotel for the quality service, but the sink next to the bed isn't very practical.

I left a review already but that is a second reservation I had. The hotel is not super fancy or imperial but the location is beautiful. Residential. Quiet. Great bus tram and underground system right by hotel. So many supermarkets, cafes, pharmacy and stores right in the same block. Nice morning buffet. An amazing pastry shop right in the hotel. Rooms are super clean. You get 2 free water and 2 free beer. Highly recommend.

Well-located apartment, with several lines within a 5-minute walk. Paid parking nearby using PAYUCA.
The small apartment had a slightly uncomfortable bed, but the bathroom had excellent shower pressure and temperature.
We were slightly inconvenienced upon arrival because the room we had been assigned smelled of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The cleaning staff was going to clean it again, but we asked if we could move. They immediately moved us to a slightly smaller room, but we were better served.
The kitchen in the new room didn't work; one burner wasn't working, and the other was even broken.
But since we had already moved in and only noticed it late at night, we didn't want to ask them again. There was no Wi-Fi.
The staff was very friendly and quick.
