"Having a sink in the room was very convenient. The shared bathroom was also incredibly clean, so it didn't feel like a shared space at all during my 5-night stay. I've already booked for another 2 nights during the Vivid Festival and plan to keep that reservation! Oh, and to the staff: I stayed in Room 209 and accidentally left behind one of the parts for my hair straightener! Please keep it safe for me. I'll be back for a 2-night, 3-day stay from May 26th to 28th. I'd really appreciate it if you could give it back to me then. Thanks!"

"The transportation here is incredibly convenient; there's a bus stop and subway station right downstairs. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service. After I checked out and left my luggage, they even proactively delivered it to my room. The architecture in front of the hotel is also very impressive!"

"This time, I booked the apartment with a meeting room for a company meeting that coincided with my birthday. The kitchen is quite spacious, large enough to accommodate 20 people for a birthday celebration, which was great. There's also a balcony with fantastic views."

"· **Cleanliness beyond expectations:** Many older hotels have questionable carpets, but this one has faux wood flooring, so you can walk barefoot without getting dusty. The bathroom was free of mold, and the towels were pristine white and thick, which is better than many four-star hotels. · **24-hour front desk:** This is crucial when traveling internationally. I checked in smoothly at midnight, and they even helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than Uber. · **Good sleep:** The window faced an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet at night. The mattress was a bit firm (common in European three-star hotels), but they provided one large and one small pillow, so I was able to adjust."

"The location of this place is absolutely unbeatable! It's super convenient, with the subway station right across the street. The subway station even has a Coles supermarket, which is incredibly handy for grabbing some food. Plus, another supermarket downstairs accepts WeChat Pay, which is a huge bonus! There's a bar downstairs, which gets quite busy every day, but it closes at 10 PM, so it's not noisy at night because of the bar. However, it can still be quite noisy, probably because it's in a central transport hub with so many people around. I had a room with three beds all to myself, and the sheets were very clean. The room also had a sink, microwave, and fridge, which was actually quite accommodating. The only downside is that breakfast isn't provided, and it's not super convenient to make your own. The bathroom is outside the room, but I never encountered anyone else in the toilet or shower during my stay."

"This is my second stay this year. I didn't take any pictures of the room, but I did get some shots of the bar downstairs. They have great music, drinks, and delicious food. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms here are surprisingly spacious, not at all cramped. They come with a sofa, a dining table and chairs, and a kitchen cabinet. All the essentials are provided, including tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge. I especially love that they offer daily cleaning. Shampoo, shower gel, and soap are all well-stocked. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended!"

"This was the best hotel of our entire trip to Australia! The room was really spacious with high ceilings, making for a very comfortable stay. The water pressure in the bathroom and shower was excellent, so showering and washing up were a breeze. The hotel's location is superb; just behind it is George Street, which is Sydney's CBD, making it super convenient for shopping, getting groceries, and catching a train. You can also walk to Circular Quay, which is incredibly handy for catching a ferry to Taronga Zoo, Rose Bay, and Watson's Bay. Highly recommend!"

"On the first day of my stay, an Indian guy was at the front desk. I arrived at 1 PM and was told check-in was at 3 PM, which is a standard policy and fine. However, for some reason, they assigned me room 417, a City View Opera House room. As soon as I heard the number, I had a bad feeling, and when I entered the room, I almost cried. The view was completely blocked, and next door was a fire equipment room. I tried to communicate with Ctrip to change rooms, but after an hour and a half, there was no progress. I went to the lobby myself to sort it out and luckily found Marco, a Chinese customer service manager. Thank goodness! Not only was communication seamless, but he also patiently helped me secure a higher-floor city view room for the next day. Even though it cost a little extra, I gladly accepted. This was my second time staying at the Shangri-La Sydney. My first stay was perfect, so I didn't expect to encounter so many unexpected issues this time. Thankfully, Marco resolved everything. After the first day, I thought I'd never stay at the Shangri-La again, but Marco's help truly compensated for the disappointment. Plus, I ordered room service four or five times, and the food was delicious! 👍 I specifically wrote this lengthy review for future Chinese guests staying at the Shangri-La; their entire Chinese team at the hotel is superb, so feel free to communicate with them!"

"The room was clean and tidy, perfect for a solo traveler, and came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and some basic dishes and cutlery. A big plus was the small dining area, which offers 24-hour self-service coffee, and before 10 AM daily, they have a nice selection of pastries, fruits, and yogurt. The location is also very convenient; it's just a 3-minute walk to Green Square train station, making it super easy to get to the airport or the city center. This is my third time staying here!"

"Nice spot, walkable to everything and in a good busy area. Staff are friendly and facilities were great and very clean. Enjoyed my stay. Not the most sociable though, I would stay again but don’t expect to really meet people here. More for somewhere nice to sleep."
