"The room facilities were on par with a basic guesthouse in China. The hotel itself is quite large, with dozens of rooms on each floor, and the furnishings and design are similar to budget hotels in China. Before coming, I was really worried about hygiene because of many negative reviews online, but once I arrived, I found that they clean the rooms daily. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and effectively helped us solve our issues.
I was also worried about noise due to poor soundproofing, but we actually stayed for 7 nights and it was very quiet the whole time. Even though the hotel is next to Thai Town and near Chinatown, it wasn't noisy at all.
The internet, however, was really bad. You could only get a smooth connection in the common areas! The best spot for internet in the room was the toilet!
I hope the hotel can improve this, otherwise, it's a real deterrent for guests!"

"The transportation here is incredibly convenient; there's a bus stop and subway station right downstairs. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service. After I checked out and left my luggage, they even proactively delivered it to my room. The architecture in front of the hotel is also very impressive!"

"The room was very pleasant, with new, clean furniture and high-quality plumbing. It had all the conveniences, such as a kettle, iron, and ironing board. The air conditioning and water worked perfectly, and the room was warm and comfortable. There were no issues with soundproofing; you'd only hear neighbors if they opened their door or spoke loudly in the hallway.
On the ground floor, there are coffee machines where you can enjoy unlimited free coffee with milk, sugar, and cookies.
The location is convenient, close to cafes and restaurants, Darling Harbour, Chinatown, and bus and metro stops.
The staff was very courteous. Once, when the hotel elevator wasn't working, they compensated us with chocolates and water.
You can leave your luggage at the reception, and it's possible to pay the deposit with cash, not just by card as stated on Trip.com."

"Lovely room, well presented and very clean. The beds were soft but supportive and we both slept well. Staff at check-in were warm and helpful, and the whole place feels polished without being stuffy. Great base for exploring the harbour and the Fish Market just down the road."

"We had a good stay at The Ultimo Hotel Sydney. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made a positive first impression. The facilities were great, and the location was very convenient, with easy access to transport and plenty of restaurants nearby that stayed open late at night.
The only area that needs improvement is the housekeeping. There were some marks on the bedding sheet, and one of the pillows appeared to have what looked like old dried blood and yellow stains. Aside from this issue, our overall experience was pleasant. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, this hotel would be even better."

"The location is absolutely unbeatable, just a two-minute walk from the exit to Circular Quay. From the room, you can see both the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the service is excellent. The room is a bit small but very well laid out."

The location is also very convenient; it's just a 3-minute walk to Green Square train station, making it super easy to get to the airport or the city center. This is my third time staying here!"

"A very clean, modern hotel located around 10 mins walk to the Sydney Domestic terminal.
Staff were friendly and the reception is at the top floor with views to the terminal.
The cafe is located at the top floor where the reception is and there’s also a 24-hour “self-service store” that sells drinks and simple meals, which is convenient for a quick snack any time of the day/night.
Would stay there again for early morning flights."
