"We were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Rizhao Jinshan' phenomenon (golden mountain bathed in sunlight)! The hotel's views are absolutely stunning (just ignore that big crane, haha). You get an unobstructed panorama of all thirteen Meili Snow Mountains. The owner was super enthusiastic; as soon as we arrived, he warmly explained the best ways to view the mountains. After showing us to our room, he even turned on the humidifier, oxygen machine, and floor heating for us. The hotel is very clean, and in the morning, you don't even need to go down to the observation deck; you can simply watch the snow-capped peaks from your balcony. The hotel thoughtfully provided large, thick blankets, which was a very nice touch."

"Staying one night in Wunongding was absolutely worth it! We got incredibly lucky and woke up to the most stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' view the next morning. Watching the sun slowly illuminate the Meili Snow Mountain was a truly breathtaking experience that you have to see to believe. In that moment, all the travel fatigue just melted away, making the journey completely worthwhile! The hotel's location is fantastic; you can see the snow-capped mountains right from your window, no need to fight for a spot with crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. In the morning, you can even catch the sunrise right near the hotel. The owner and staff were exceptionally warm and helpful, advising us on the best viewing times and even arranging thoughtful little details. It was a perfect experience. Witnessing the full 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' in Wunongding is truly the most unforgettable memory of our Yunnan trip. Five stars, highly recommended!"

"Five-star recommendation for Snow Mountain Wake Up Homestay! The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bedding is soft and pristine, making for a truly comfortable sleep that washes away travel fatigue. The staff are attentive and thoughtful, always on hand to help with any issues, which was both considerate and heartwarming. The homestay's private terrace offers an exceptional view, perfect for snapping amazing photos of the snow-capped mountains – the photo-op rate is super high! Every evening there are complimentary fireworks displays, and they also organize various special recreational activities. Both the scenery and the experience are top-notch, making the entire stay impeccable. It's my top choice when visiting this area, and I'll definitely be back. "The hotel owner was very warm and enthusiastic, proactively helping with our luggage and even providing pick-up and drop-off service to and from the Feilai Temple bus station. The room was brand new and well-equipped with all sorts of amenities. The dispersed oxygen supply, in particular, was a lifesaver for those of us with altitude sickness. The location is excellent; the hotel has a rooftop viewing platform, and it's also very close to the Feilai Temple viewing platform, just about a 5-minute walk. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money in Feilai Temple."

"Staying at Tianjing Yunye in Meili Snow Mountain was an amazing experience! ✨ The room was clean and had great views. I was suffering from altitude sickness, and the owner even gave me an oxygen tank when I checked out – so thoughtful! Five-star recommendation! It's pet-friendly and very close to the Feilai Temple viewpoint, just a 10-minute walk. The owner is very warm-hearted. The highland barley pancake for breakfast was delicious. There's a viewing balcony, but you can't see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' from there; you have to go to the viewpoint for that. Be sure to try the roasted yak skewers by the road near the snow mountain, they're really good!"

"Amenities: They provide heated blankets and a graphene heater, which was a lifesaver since it was snowing the day I visited. Without them, I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep. If it's going to be really cold, I'd suggest booking a place with floor heating, as this one doesn't have it. Location: It's not too far from the viewpoint, but there's a building under construction diagonally across the street, which slightly impacts the view. The rooftop has its own viewpoint with several tripods available for use. Service: There's no elevator, and even though we had luggage, no one offered to help us carry it up."

"Cleanliness: Still very neat and clean. Environment: The guesthouse is located at the very top of the eastern side of Upper Yubeng. If you don't want to commute by pickup truck or climb the 'Despair Slope', I recommend taking the shortcut directly to Upper Yubeng after the second supply point. The scenery is excellent. The guesthouse has a fantastic view, offering panoramic vistas of three snow-capped mountains. The decor is ******* style, leaning towards minimalist. Service: The ladies working here were incredibly responsive to all our requests. Upon check-in, we received custom medals and a supply kit. In the evenings, there was ginger tea, fruit, and late-night snacks. After three days of exhausting hikes, returning to the guesthouse, sitting by the fire, drinking ginger tea, and petting the cats brought immense happiness. I highly recommend their milk tea and coffee; their beauty is the least impressive thing about them – they're just that delicious. Facilities: The hot water temperature was a bit tricky to adjust. As someone sensitive to heat, the water felt too hot after a while. Lastly, the guesthouse also provides disposable towels and bath towels, so my quick-dry towel went completely unused. Guests might consider this to lighten their backpacks."

"If you're traveling by bus like me, this hotel is the best choice because it's right next to the bus stop, literally less than a minute's walk away. 😂 **Accommodation:** The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from Feilai Temple observation deck. They offer free breakfast, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try it due to time constraints, which was a bit of a shame. 😔 **Facilities:** They have floor heating, an oxygen concentrator, a humidifier, and a heated ceiling in the bathroom. **Service:** The uncle was very talkative and immediately invited everyone to sit down and rest. The aunt brought a cup of hot tea. The male host (I think)? He seemed a bit shy but diligently helped carry our luggage. The female host (I think)? She was gentle and detailed in explaining the room facilities and how to use the floor heating. They are a very warm and friendly family! The next morning, I saw the shy male host carefully wiping the steps and he even reminded me to be careful as the ground was slippery. **P.S.** There are thoughtful little details in every corner of the room. Check the small box in the bedside table – you're sure to find something you need. This time, I forgot my hand cream, and the snake oil balm there solved a big problem! The owner offered a pick-up and drop-off service for watching the sunrise, and even though it was a bit of a drive, it was definitely worth it. My only small suggestion would be to consider adding a small oxygen machine, as going from an altitude of 2000m to over 3000m, I experienced noticeable altitude sickness when sleeping at night."

"First off, the hotel owner was incredibly kind and understanding. We had originally booked two twin rooms for four people, but two of our group fell ill with altitude sickness and couldn't make it. According to policy, canceling one room would have incurred a 30% charge. However, after hearing our situation, the owner proactively offered a free cancellation, which I truly appreciate. Secondly, the hotel really pays attention to the details. For example, the rooms come equipped with electric blankets, binoculars, oxygen concentrators, and even high-quality tissues. The bathroom has a heater/ventilator, and the Western breakfast is both generous and delicious. Lastly, the hotel is located in the first row, offering unobstructed views of the Meili Snow Mountain directly from the rooms and the rooftop. The rooftop even has tripods available for guests. We were very lucky to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon on Meili Snow Mountain. Tashi Delek! 🙏"
