__WeChat16870****Our night in Benzilan was made absolutely perfect thanks to the Xilin Yuan Nada Mountain Inn.
We arrived in the evening, driving up the mountain road, and the further we went, the more tranquil it became. The inn's courtyard is beautifully maintained, and the room windows offer stunning views of the continuous mountain range, making you feel as though the entire world has quieted down.
The owner is incredibly kind. Not only did he recommend some local delicacies, but he also offered to wash our clothes for us. This kind of thoughtful service truly makes you feel so welcome and warm.
This is an inn that makes you want to return. Next time I'm in Benzilan, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserThe hotel service was excellent. As soon as we arrived, staff helped us with our luggage, directed us to parking, and even provided welcome fruit. Every afternoon, we received a lovely afternoon tea delivered to our room, and in the evenings, there was a sweet nightcap and a fireworks show. We could hand over our clothes for washing and drying, and they'd be returned to our room. The breakfast, however, was quite ordinary with no real surprises. The room view was unbeatable; we stayed in the Mianxue Family Room, which directly faced the main peak of Kawagebo, truly stunning and beautiful. I also have to mention the hotel's special 'service staff': Potato, King Kong, and Niuniu. They offer immense emotional value and are incredibly therapeutic. I personally loved King Kong and Potato; they were so cute!

YYummmmI stayed in a basic room, and the package was a great value. The public areas offer even better spots for taking photos with the snowy mountains in the background! The sixth floor has the best views, while the third floor is perfect for reflection shots. The ground floor is also nice, but it would be even better if the hotel could manage the large glass windows on the first floor during sunrise – otherwise, you'll get a lot of cars in your photos.
In the evening, the fifth floor is a great spot, and the bartender there is super friendly!
The food was filling, and breakfast was decent with some local specialty side dishes.
Most importantly, I got to see the 'golden mountain under the morning sun,' so overall I'm very satisfied. The Puerh tea at the front desk was also delicious.
They have sachet-making activities at 9 AM and 9 PM daily! A sachet costs 58 RMB in Dukezong Ancient City.
The travel photography service is also pretty good, as the hotel has many photogenic spots. I did my own makeup, then changed into the hotel's clothes. The lighting is excellent around 9 AM and 6 PM. I ended up choosing a dozen photos for 1088 RMB, which was a bit pricey.
One minor drawback: oxygen supply isn't available during the day, and even when it is, the intensity feels a bit weak. I had some trouble sleeping the first night. It only got better after I propped up my upper body and opened the window a bit. Also, without the underfloor heating on, it was still a bit warm.

The terrace offers stunning views, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Thirteen Peaks bathed in Sunlight' at the very end of the rainy season. The breakfast, personally prepared by the owner, was exquisite and filling, served individually to each guest with the finesse of a French meal. Each room also came with binoculars, allowing us to see the intricate details of the glacier. The only minor downsides were the occasional loud passing trucks on the street, though it quieted down significantly at night, and the water heater which sometimes got excessively hot.

The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a perfectly undisturbed night's sleep.

GGuest UserI genuinely think this is the best value-for-money hotel in Feilai Temple! Absolutely worth it! The room was small but had everything I needed. I booked it last minute after deciding to arrive a day earlier. It was very warm, clean, and the facilities were new. The service was also excellent; both the front desk and the owner were very polite. I would have extended my stay if they weren't fully booked today.

The underfloor heating and diffused oxygen supply meant we didn't have to worry about altitude sickness at all. The staff were warm and friendly! There's also a cafe and an observation deck on the top floor where you can see Baima Snow Mountain and Feilai Temple. The afternoon sun was perfect for photos, and the scenery was absolutely stunning!
The hotel's location isn't far from the Meili Snow Mountain observation deck, so transportation is very convenient. There's a snack street near the Feilai Temple observation deck, and watching the snow-capped mountains in the evening is beautiful—highly recommended! The hotel's restaurant is on the first floor, which is super convenient if you don't feel like going out in the cold.

AAnonymous UserThey say you might not see the ”Golden Mountain in the Sun” in October, so I booked this place to avoid wasting money on a view that might not deliver. Turns out, we actually saw it! Super worth it!! The location is right next to where the bus drops you off, so it's a very easy walk, and close to the Feilai Temple viewing platform. The room was unbelievably spacious, and the underfloor heating worked perfectly. There are only four or five rooms, and the view is absolutely stunning. The owner is very simple and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this for anyone hoping to catch the Golden Mountain but worried about a wasted 4-hour drive if they miss it. The accommodation quality is easily more than triple that of other scenic hotels at the same price point, and the courtyard itself can help ease any disappointment if you don't see the sunrise.
Let's talk about the downsides:
1. Feilai Temple is currently under construction, so there are large vehicles at night. I personally wasn't bothered by the noise, but I can't guarantee others wouldn't be. This seems to be a common issue for hotels along this road.
2. The room was very clean and tidy, but I wasn't a fan of the air freshener scent. My partner didn't notice it, though.
3. There were some really large flies. I hope the owner can improve pest control. Although they'll probably freeze to death in a few days, seeing them definitely puts a damper on the mood.

XXueshuquanweiGetting to the hotel requires turning off National Highway 214 onto a village road, which was completely dark at night. At that moment, I regretted booking this place. However, after driving down that small road for about 5 minutes, we finally arrived, and I immediately felt that my choice was actually a good one. Once we entered the room, my worries completely disappeared! The room felt like a 4-star standard and, thankfully, was smoke-free. Even better, each room had a copy of the 'Brief Introduction to Diqing Prefecture,' a very professional, detailed, and comprehensive book that helps you quickly and systematically understand the area.
The hotel restaurant's food was good (though a bit salty for us southerners). The prices weren't cheap, around 50 RMB per person, but given the generous portions, I wouldn't say it was expensive. The main benefit was not having to go out to eat, which saved time and effort. The hotel's environment and ambiance were perfect; it truly felt like a manor. I heard it used to be a vineyard that later upgraded to tourism services. Because it's far from the town and main road, it's incredibly quiet, and you can even see the peak of Meili Snow Mountain directly from here.
