Cheap Hotels in Barcelona

"The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money. My only minor complaint is that the room felt a bit stuffy."

"The hotel is on the second floor and the hygiene was good. The location is quite convenient, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was also good, with a 12-person room, and everyone was very quiet. I met an old lady from France and a friend from Belgium. Overall, it was nice."

"I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively. You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe. There are delicious family-run restaurants nearby, a breakfast spot downstairs (cheaper than the hotel!), and a convenience store. The hotel itself is quite traditional; not super new in terms of decor, but very clean, and the hot water works great. What's really important is that normally in Europe, if you're changing rooms, you can't move your luggage in early and have to repack everything and wait until check-in time. But here, if you just tell the front desk, you can move your bags into the new room the next day – it's brilliant! There's also a small rooftop pool with a pretty nice view. Highly recommend it, ladies! The pictures show the hotel room, the breakfast place downstairs, and a nearby family restaurant (so good 😋)."

"Upon arrival, staff were helpful with luggage, and generally very friendly. Stepping into the room, the view from the window was a pleasant surprise. The room layout was well-designed and fully equipped, with ample space to unpack, a proper desk and chairs, a kettle with tea bags, complimentary bottled water, and even slippers. For travelers arriving in Barcelona after a long journey, the amenities provided were incredibly reassuring. The bathroom had an excellent wet/dry separation, easily the most practical and well-designed I encountered on this trip, keeping everything tidy. The hotel is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from a Mercadona supermarket, and about a 15-minute walk to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. The only downside was that the WiFi was down on the day I checked in. It was later repaired, but unfortunately, I wasn't informed."

"The room in this hotel was quite small; it felt very cramped with two beds. We booked a room with two beds, but they actually gave us one with three beds, which made it hard to find space for luggage. On the plus side, the location is convenient for getting taxis anywhere. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and feels cozy, and the breakfast offers a good variety of options. The room amenities, like shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion, are all NUXE brand, and they smell quite good."

"My child had a solo trip and stayed for three nights. It was convenient, clean, and most importantly, safe, especially for a female traveler. She returned home safely from this trip. Before she left, I was worried about her safety, but everything turned out fine. I'm grateful for the warmth and friendliness of the locals in Barcelona and other tourists towards my child. And even more grateful for the beauty Gaudi has given to the world. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Barcelona."

There are plenty of cafes offering simple breakfast options. There's also a medium-sized supermarket, starting with 'c', right around the corner. It's really convenient for both shopping and breakfast. The room facilities are pretty standard, with an IKEA-like feel. The bathroom fixtures are a bit basic. Breakfast costs 15 euros plus a 10% service charge, and there's a good variety of choices. One thing to note is that the bath towels are only changed every two days, which wasn't mentioned on Trip.com when I booked."

"The pros are the spacious rooms and the hotel's large size with comprehensive facilities, especially the extensive conference center. The breakfast offers great value for money. The cons are that it's too old, especially the room's air conditioning; the noise it makes is unbearable, probably due to a dust-clogged internal air filter. I had to turn it off. I also assumed a hotel close to the airport would have a shuttle service, but it didn't."

"Upon checking in, they will give you a welcome drink. They will show you around your assigned room. Bed was very comfortable and there’s aircon in each rooms. Kitchen is sufficient and there’s a lot of chairs to sit in. Breakfast was simple but filling. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay."
