"The room's location is excellent, truly a sea-view room. It's just a 5-minute walk downstairs, across the road, to Sanya Bay beach. The surrounding area is bustling with amenities, very convenient. You can easily find options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room itself is quite spacious with a great layout. It was very comfortable to stay in. Opening the window, you can see the sea not far away, which instantly brightens your mood. If you request daily cleaning, the customer service is incredibly responsive and accommodating. When staying away from home, I believe the host's service is paramount. What truly made this homestay stand out was the exceptional service attitude of both the customer service and the host. They genuinely answered every question promptly and effectively! And whenever I needed assistance, they were there immediately to resolve any issues, without any perfunctory responses! Absolutely fantastic!! Beautiful scenery, pleasant communication, and comfortable living arrangements – the whole experience was wonderful."

"Before I dive into my review, I should preface it by saying that I usually stay at Orange and HUAZHU hotels (like Ji Hotel and Orange Hotel). The W Hotel in Chengdu was the only five-star hotel I've ever experienced. So, if you regularly stay at hotels costing thousands or tens of thousands of yuan a night, my review might not be relevant to you. For those with OCD or who struggle with choices, if you want to know what the specific views are like or what the rooms actually look like, there are two ways: First, look up a user named 'Sanya Ascott jayson' on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). They've posted floor plans for various room types and highlighted the differences between them. Second, simply Google 'Ascott' and you'll find an online 3D virtual tour website. I stayed for five days, and personally, I felt the bedsheets were much cleaner and less coarse than those at Huazhu hotels, making for a very comfortable sleep. Regarding service, you only get a butler (who can help with urgent requests and delivering items) if you book through Trip.com. Bookings made via Xianyu or other platforms *do not* include butler service!!! (Because you can't leave a negative review, which means there's no threat to the hotel's reputation). Hotels in Sanya really care about their Trip.com ratings! Also, when confirming a package booked via Xianyu at the restaurant, I felt like they knew I'd booked through Xianyu. The staff had to call to confirm for a while, and their expressions seemed a little odd. If you want to book cheaply but still enjoy full service, you can do what I did: book one night through Trip.com and the other nights through Xianyu, making sure to link the bookings. On a side note, as someone from Chongqing, I really wish they had spicy boiled beef slices (水煮肉片) and unlimited steamed buns with condensed milk (金银馒头 style) for breakfast. Overall, the service is definitely better than at Orange or Ji Hotels. If you need something, it's delivered almost instantly. They automatically clean your room when you're out, and even neatly arrange your belongings. The air conditioning is never turned off; all rooms in five-star hotels, even unoccupied ones, have the AC running, so it's always cool when you return. Tips: If you think the elevator is fast, it's because there are no 4th, 13th, or 14th floors. We stayed on the 18th floor, which was actually the 15th floor. Room numbers also omit 4 and 13. During the day, there are many Didi SUV premium cars waiting downstairs to pick up passengers. A family of four won't have trouble getting a ride. The entrance road is shared with Qingneng, Junji, Autograph, and JW Marriott, with JW Marriott at the very end of the road. Finally, a huge thank you to my butler, Xiao Xu. He was very enthusiastic, had a great attitude, and high emotional intelligence. Communicating with him was very pleasant, making our Sanya trip incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend choosing Xiao Xu!"

"We stayed here for 15 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a better room with more beautiful views. Communication with the host via WeChat was very convenient, and any issues or requests were handled quickly. Housekeeping was available on any day upon request. There were four of us staying in the apartment, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is generally convenient, especially for taking a taxi to get around Sanya. It’s about a 10-minute walk to restaurants and to the Summer Mall and Winter Mall shopping centers. I can recommend this place for a long and comfortable stay. However, not all rooms have such beautiful views, so keep that in mind and, if possible, contact the host in advance via WeChat to discuss room options. --------------- Мы жили здесь 15 дней, получили бесплатный апгрей до лучшего номера с более красивыми видами. The front desk staff were very professional during check-in and provided excellent service, even helping with luggage and pre-cooling the room with AC – really great attention to detail. The room amenities were comprehensive, and the housekeeping was meticulously done. The balcony offered a sea view, and there were plenty of dining options downstairs. A big plus was the free laundry service!"

"You can spot the three shell-shaped buildings from afar – they're really beautiful! We stayed for three nights and had a pick-up service from the airport directly to the hotel. The island is filled with coconut trees, and right outside is Coconut Dream Corridor. Staying on the 20th floor, the sea view was absolutely stunning, stretching as far as the eye could see. Everywhere you look is picturesque; we just kept taking photos until our phones ran out of battery!"

"I stayed at H Seaview Baorong Holiday Apartment from 20 December to 31 December 2025, and overall, I am very satisfied with my experience. The host, Ma Li-rong, was very friendly and helpful. You can find her for check-in on Level 6 (Room 612), where she provided me with the key, fresh bath towels, and the WiFi password. The location is great, and my room on Level 33 had a stunning and magnificent balcony view. Another big plus was that there were absolutely no mosquitoes during my stay. There are a few things to keep in mind, though. The cleanliness could be improved, and the kitchen utensils are quite limited. Also, the lifts are always overcrowded and stop on almost every floor, so it does take a while to get in and out of the apartment. Despite those minor issues, I had a great time. I would recommend this place to everyone and would definitely stay here again!"

"This apartment was a lifesaver for our family trip to Sanya with the kids! It's just a few minutes' walk from Dadonghai Beach, so the kids could play in the sand and water and we could pop back anytime to change. The room was spacious and clean, with crisp, soft bedding, and even the small kitchen had sterilizing equipment. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful; not only did they help us carry our luggage upstairs, but they also proactively arranged a tide-pooling experience for us. Everyone in the family agreed that we'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to Sanya!"

"Front desk was responsive of all our requests. However cleanliness was only average. The air con vent were dirty which was visible from the outside especially the main bedroom and living room. My daughter got itchy nose after staying inside the room. Worst of all my husband back was bitten by some bugs after leaning on the sofa shirtless. When I feedback to them they claimed is not their sofa problem. Was disappointed with them for being so defensive. I have come across a guest from Australia who also reviewed on mar 17 2026 that sofa got problem cannot sit. Hope the apartment will do something about it"
