Cameron is nice, and the service was good, as was the hotel itself. It had all the facilities, a clean environment, and a wide variety of delicious and affordable food. There were many activities available, and even bug spray provided. The room had plenty of water options. The Chinese lunch arrangements were appropriate and plentiful. The only drawbacks were that the light switches in the room weren't great, a bit hard to control. The air conditioning in the Japanese restaurant wasn't strong enough, making it a bit warm. The travel photography selection process felt a bit like forced consumption; they were very quick to pull out a QR code and demand payment, as if they were afraid I wouldn't buy anything. That was a small disappointment on the trip, and I'd recommend avoiding this travel photography service; it wasn't as good as one I would choose myself. Overall, the Westin offers great value for money, with an all-inclusive package that provides plenty of diverse and clean food. It's perfect for a relaxing vacation, with a nice swimming pool, ping-pong table, billiards, and a gym, along with various activities. It's really suitable for a holiday and much better than other popular 'influencer' hotels. The F&B staff were also very accommodating, asking about our needs and what could be improved. Overall, I'm very satisfied, except for the travel photography. Every trip has a small regret, but it didn't spoil the mood. Overall, the Westin is excellent.

My InterContinental Resort stay was fantastic this time. First, a big thanks to our butler, Bonnie Tan, for upgrading us to a Deluxe Seaview room. We could see the ocean and the sunrise, although it was a pity that heavy rain the first two days made the nearshore waters murky. As of now, after two days, the yellowish area has reduced by about a third; I estimate it will take a week to fully clear up. Yesterday, the sunrise was partly obscured by clouds, but it was still beautiful. The room layout was excellent, very spacious with a wide open plan. The bathroom had two sinks and a vanity, and the shower faced the sea, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The bathtub was on the balcony; if I had stayed another day, I definitely would have enjoyed it. The Tianfu Chinese restaurant was delicious. They had a great value couple's set menu. The Crispy Pork Sandwich was perfect for those with a taste from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The grouper felt like it weighed a pound, and the chicken fat rice was so good I posted about it on both Dianping and Xiaohongshu. Other à la carte dishes were a bit pricey, probably 300-400 RMB per person. The tennis court was affordable at 180 RMB an hour, including rackets. They were all Wilson rackets; I couldn't identify the model but definitely not the Clash series. There were two with thin grips and two with thicker ones. Like the court itself, they were quite old. The pink thin-grip one I used felt like the strings were a bit loose, not as tight as the blue thin-grip one. The staff also set up a table and chairs, providing towels and water, which was a nice touch. The hotel lobby had a very high ceiling, grand decor, and an expansive space that was truly refreshing, much better than the feeling I got at the Yalong Bay Marriott. All the staff were friendly and greeted guests, and service was very responsive, including the front desk, lobby, Tianfu Bay restaurant, family pool, tennis court, and even the maintenance staff on the beach 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay is truly a hidden gem for a vacation! The resort grounds are expansive with beautiful scenery at every turn, perfect for photos. A special thank you to Nini, our butler for this stay – she was incredibly responsive to messages, quick with delivery service requests, and thoughtfully prepared little surprises for us, making the bubble experience absolutely fantastic. The breakfast quality was excellent with a wide variety of dishes. It's also very close to the duty-free shop and 68 Food Street, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The attention to detail in the service was outstanding, and we had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary hotel photoshoot included in our package was a pleasant surprise; the photographer was patient and guided us to capture many natural and lively photos among the palm trees and by the sea, preserving our vacation moments. Overall, the resort perfectly delivered on the vacation vibe and is ideal for a relaxing getaway in Sanya. Definitely worth revisiting!

There's a huge private man-made ocean, so you can enjoy the water even when the waves are high in Haitang Bay. The rooftop infinity pool offers stunning sea views 🌴. We stayed in a Sea View Grand Studio, which was spacious with a large balcony directly facing the sea 🌅. The bedding was comfortable and excellent for sleeping, and the Dyson hairdryer coupled with Le Labo toiletries showed great attention to detail. The service was excellent – the staff handled luggage and concierge requests promptly and appropriately. They even proactively offered iced water on the beach 🧊. The staff member, 'Baolongshou' (Tyrannosaurus Rex), provided attentive and meticulous service, responding quickly to any issues. Their service was 100%, deserving full marks 👍🏻. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the hotel is very close to the duty-free shop 🛍️. This hotel is perfect for couples and honeymooners, offering a complete sense of relaxation away from the city. This hotel is very close to the airport, so there's a bit of plane noise. I booked a room at the Crowne Plaza for my last day. I asked the front desk if they could upgrade me to a pool view room, and they did. The room wasn't humid thanks to the dehumidifier. I washed my clothes and spent the last day of my relaxed trip walking around the hotel and swimming, which was very comfortable. The beach is right across the road and wasn't crowded, so a stroll there was perfect for a leisurely vacation. You can't see the sunrise directly, but you can see the ocean surface illuminated by the morning sun as it rises, and you can get close-up photos of planes taking off. It was my first time seeing a sunrise from the north, and it was quite unique and beautiful with very few people around. I had forgotten to book a travel photoshoot in Yalong Bay before, and this hotel also offered complimentary travel photography. I asked the hotel to help me book it, and they quickly arranged an appointment. I communicated my desired style via WeChat beforehand, and I was very happy with the overall results. There was no extra upselling; they shot exactly what we discussed on WeChat. The photographer was very professional and experienced. I think the touch-up quality is comparable to Haimati (a popular photo studio), making it incredibly good value for money. If you're staying at the hotel, I highly recommend booking a photoshoot.

I had a lot of worries before coming, especially after seeing comments about the hotel facilities being old. But honestly, my stay was pretty smooth. I mainly came for the public beach area, and it was absolutely beautiful! The weather was great too, and the pool was very comfortable. In the afternoon, while lounging on the beach chairs, there was a poolside bar right behind me where I could order drinks, coconuts, or anything else. Sharing public areas with the Marriott next door felt like a really good deal – paying Sheraton prices but enjoying Marriott amenities, haha. We also had a butler who was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. She answered all our questions instantly and provided very detailed information for anything we needed. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular. However, I wouldn't recommend the 'Asian Essence' buffet restaurant. We had a package through Ctrip that included one buffet meal, and I heard it's usually quite expensive. It mainly features Korean food, and since the dining area is outdoors, any grilled items get cold very quickly. You might also have to contend with flying insects trying to share your food, which is unavoidable. The food itself wasn't very tasty. The performance was probably more suitable for kids – small acrobatic acts with very high color saturation, a bit harsh on the eyes. My friend sharply commented that it resembled a performance at a rural senior club. I wouldn't recommend buying it. However, there was a duo with a redhead lead singer and a guitarist who were fantastic. They also performed in the lobby in the evenings. Listening to them sing under the perfect full moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival, with a drink in hand, was incredibly enjoyable. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip. No major issues, and great value for money.

I saw this hotel on Ctrip. Although it's old, it's well-maintained, so I chose it. I contacted the front desk in advance to arrange a birthday setup, and on the day of check-in, the butler even sent a bouquet of flowers, which made my family very happy. The room type I stayed in included an electric buggy shuttle service. Check-in and check-out could be done in the room, so there was no long wait, which was a great experience. For getting around, I could also contact them for an electric buggy shuttle. Breakfast was à la carte, and the fresh coconut water was delicious. Room service for deliveries was also quick. The room's pool even came with floats. It was raining in Sanya when I went, so the indoor pool was perfect for rainy days. The bedding wasn't damp, and my family was very satisfied. There was no bidet. The decor style was quite old-fashioned, but the room was clean and tidy, with no bugs. The hotel's photo shoot service was also good. Because of the rain, I thought I wouldn't be able to shoot by the sea. In the end, the photographer managed to quickly go to the beach for a shoot during a break in the rain, leaving no regrets.

My stay was a pleasant surprise, and I felt very comfortable overall. The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded on three sides by a commercial street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, free of any strange odors, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a very sound sleep at night. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, and the toiletries were complete and convenient to use. Gina, from guest services, was very thoughtful and efficient in resolving issues; she was incredibly patient with any questions I had. The public areas were neat and clean, and great attention was paid to details. There were no hidden extra charges, making this hotel far exceed my expectations. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose Welcome Hotel again.

Since 2020, every year around late July and early August, my annual rendezvous with the mountains and sea unfailingly comes to pass. The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart. I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience. This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Without me even having to ask, she proactively inquired about my itinerary and daily needs, promptly arranging room cleaning, replenishing beverages, and even thoughtfully providing fruit plates and desserts. When my relatives and friends later checked into the same type of seaview room, they were also handled by the butler throughout their stay. She arranged high-floor rooms with large balconies offering sea views and even provided upgrades. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with fruit plates and desserts – comprehensive and impeccable service. This has been the most outstanding butler service I've experienced in my many years of staying at the Mangrove Tree Resort. I sincerely hope the hotel can cultivate more such excellent service staff. I also want to thank the Trip.com butler who helped me communicate and implement my special check-in requests in advance. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless. As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Strolling through the hotel gardens, gazing at the vast ocean, enjoying delicious food with the sea breeze; at night, sitting alone by the sea, listening to the rhythmic waves, I fully indulge in the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation. I have witnessed the hotel’s growth and transformation over the years and wish to continue accompanying the Mangrove Tree Resort on its journey forward. I look forward to the hotel's continued refinement and the unlocking of more novel and exciting experiences. I anticipate returning next summer for another rendezvous with the mountains and sea. I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Ella, the butler at Wanda Realm! To be honest, the room facilities are a bit dated; you can definitely see the age in the bathroom and furniture. But that didn't detract from our experience at all, because the butler service was simply outstanding! From adding her on WeChat to communicate our needs during check-in, to receiving daily thoughtful weather and activity reminders, every request was met with a prompt response. The butler even specially delivered a fresh fruit platter to our room. And at check-out, she had prepared Hainan specialty souvenirs. The attention to detail was incredible, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor environment is absolutely stunning! The sand on the beach is as fine as flour, the seawater is crystal clear, and every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. The complimentary travel photoshoot was an even bigger surprise; the photographer patiently guided our poses, and the results were simply amazing. We ended up buying a package of over twenty photos, which was far better than any roadside photographer – why even bother with a bicycle when you have a luxury car? (a Chinese idiom meaning 'why settle for less when you can have the best') Honestly, I truly believe that without the dedicated efforts of these high-quality professionals, this hotel would struggle to operate so smoothly. The hardware might be old, but the warmth of the people makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values service experience!
