This hotel stay was incredibly satisfying overall! It really delivered the facilities and service level of a luxury hotel. The location is excellent, the room is spacious, and housekeeping was consistently tidying up and cleaning to keep it spotless. It's also very close to the duty-free shop, making shopping super convenient. The hotel offers a rich variety of activities and entertainment, so I highly recommend just staying at the hotel for everything – food, accommodation, and fun. The staff's attitude was also excellent, making for a great experience. I want to particularly commend our butler, Kent! He was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, promptly responding to all our needs with proactive and kind service – very detailed and warm-hearted. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection, with skim milk, 0-sugar yogurt, and a fresh orange juice machine – big pluses. The taste was on point. The Chinese restaurant, buffet dinner, and the seafood hotpot on the tenth floor were all excellent in quality and portion size, definitely worth it. The water activities were fantastic; paddleboarding and kayaking were both a lot of fun. The resort grounds are lush with greenery and beautifully serene, with staff constantly maintaining them. Overall, it felt like a complete vacation, and I highly recommend staying here. I'll definitely prioritize the Westin for future trips to Sanya. However, while the hotel's public areas are stunning – the scenes and lighting are perfect for photos, and even casual phone shots of people look great – our experience with the travel photography company was terrible. Their posing instructions were clumsy, and the photo editing was stiff and ugly, making us look like mannequins. Despite shooting for a long time, the results were still poor. The attitude during photo selection was also bad; they didn't let us take our time, rushing us through very quickly. There weren't enough staff for photo selection, and many time slots were unavailable, forcing us to make do with inconvenient times. It felt like they didn't want to make money, and the person scheduling appointments also had a bad attitude. Fortunately, the hotel butler was incredibly responsible and proactive. After asking about our stay and learning about the photography issue, he immediately reported it, and only then did the photography company's attitude improve slightly, and they called to apologize. However, the subsequent handling by their staff still lacked any sincerity. The gap between them and travel photography companies at other hotels is huge. My family also thought the photos were ugly, even worse than the 10-yuan beach photos, which is absurd.

I've stayed at several InterContinental hotels in recent years, so let's start with what I liked about this one: the rooms are spacious, the balconies are large, and the facilities are well-maintained. All the staff I encountered, including the front desk, restaurant servers, bellhops, executive lounge personnel, and even the cleaning staff, were very warm and polite. The breakfast buffet was also quite good, with prompt plate clearing and food replenishment. I'll definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Now, for some areas I think could be improved: As an InterContinental hotel, I find it unacceptable to use melamine bowls in the buffet restaurant. If it were a Holiday Inn, one of your sister brands, I could understand, but you're an InterContinental. Secondly, there's a distinct odor at the entrance to the kids' club. This is something you should learn from a certain hotel in Haitang Bay (like Haitang Bay Shangri-La). Your management team can go and take a breath there to understand. Another issue, which isn't unique to InterContinental but applies to many hotels in Haitang Bay, is having too many interns. While it's normal to have interns, their proportion shouldn't be excessive. As I mentioned before, you're an InterContinental, not a Hilton or a Sheraton. One more thing I hope the hotel considers is encouraging guests to give honest feedback based on their true feelings, rather than implicitly or explicitly guiding them to review the hotel's service in a certain way. It's 2026, and we're in a digital age; mindsets need to change. This is for the hotel management. Don't you know that nowadays, overly high scores are often met with skepticism? People tend to trust ratings between 4.6 and 4.8. Please stop using these inflated scores to evaluate your staff. Finally, I hope the executive lounge's offerings can be further enriched. It should feel like a proper meal, not just an afterthought.

Opting for the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay for our vacation in Sanya was a fantastic choice! The two-day stay completely boosted our happiness levels; it was comfortable and relaxing throughout. I especially want to commend our personal butler, Diana, whose professional and warm service genuinely changed my perception of hotel service. Even before our arrival, Diana proactively reached out via WeChat. She meticulously confirmed our arrival time and travel needs, patiently explaining all the hotel benefits and offering tips for exploring the resort. Upon check-in, she learned we were on a family vacation and thoughtfully upgraded our room for free. Opening the door to our room was a pleasant surprise – it was spacious and tidy, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries were complete, showing attention to detail everywhere. Diana was always enthusiastic and appropriate in her interactions, and her responses to messages were consistently prompt and reliable. Whether we needed extra room amenities, wanted to reserve a pool spot, or sought directions to nearby duty-free shops and food streets, she provided clear and organized solutions with impeccable professionalism. Any small requests during our stay were promptly and properly handled. She struck the perfect balance, never being overly intrusive yet always appearing precisely when needed. Beyond the service, the hotel's overall ambiance and facilities were outstanding. The grounds are surrounded by lush coconut groves and greenery, offering a relaxed island vibe with picturesque views at every turn. The three partitioned swimming pools were comfortably heated, with clearly designated adult quiet zones and children's play areas. A short stroll leads to the private beach, where watching the sunset with the sea breeze was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast spread was rich and diverse, featuring Hainanese specialty noodles, Western pastries, and fresh fruit beverages, all delicious. The hotel also has direct access to the 68 Global Food Street, making dining and shopping very convenient. In our free time, we could also enjoy craft activities at the Kids' Club, making for a wonderfully lazy and comfortable vacation pace. The only minor regret of this trip was that we left too early on our departure day and couldn't say goodbye to Diana in person. Afterward, she specifically messaged us, her tone reflecting a slight apology, explaining in detail why she couldn't see us off. This gentle and sincere gesture beautifully smoothed over that small imperfection, and she even sent us travel blessings. Her thoughtful approach made us feel incredibly warm. A comfortable vacation is half due to the scenery and environment, and half due to the attentive service. Many thanks to Diana for her meticulous and thoughtful care throughout our stay. The Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay truly lives up to its reputation as a top choice for a Haitang Bay vacation. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Sanya, and we'll certainly be looking for Diana!

An absolutely wonderful stay! Open the window and you're greeted by rainforest and distant mountains, with a breathtaking view of the churning blue sea. Our wooden cabin nestled among the treetops, and the evening breeze carried the scent of grass and trees. We fell asleep to the sounds of the mountain wind, birdsong, and waves. Staying in this 'bird's nest' was truly an experience of wild luxury amidst the mountains and sea. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and we even got a free room upgrade. All the little details were perfect. We also enjoyed a half-day tour of the forest park with a guide. Both the Western and Thai restaurants were good too. I'll definitely stay at the Bird's Nest again next time I'm in Sanya. #RainforestMountainRetreat

We stayed at this hotel with another family, and overall, it was a great experience. The greeters at the entrance were very good, especially one enthusiastic young man. There were plenty of water activities for the kids, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was decent, and dinner was quite abundant. The two singers created a fantastic atmosphere; my daughter even took her phone up to take a picture with them. Enjoying dinner by the sea with a gentle breeze in the evening was lovely and very atmospheric. We were quite satisfied with the overall experience. The snorkeling trip also yielded some great photos. There was one minor hiccup: I got water in my ear while diving, which led to an ear infection. However, the front desk lady and the nurse were both very warm and helpful in resolving the issue, which I really appreciated. The young man by the pool was also very fun; he climbed a tree to pick a jackfruit for us, and all the kids from the pool rushed over to eagerly share it. It was so much fun, and we got to taste a soft, gooey jackfruit like none we'd ever had before – usually, the ones we buy are quite firm. The service from everyone was excellent. We've stayed at Hilton, Yanlord Crowne Plaza, and InterContinental before, and this time at Sheraton. We would definitely choose to stay at Sheraton again next time, hoping for an even better experience.

This hotel is a great choice if you're landing in Sanya, as it's very close to the airport. It's an older, established hotel here, so while the facilities are a bit dated, the service is still comprehensive. The pool isn't small, but there aren't many trees, so it can get quite sunny. They have daily activities for kids, like crafts and other things. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the operating hours are very long, so you can enjoy some activities before heading down to eat. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up extending my stay.

I chose this hotel specifically for its location in Haitang Bay, but it turns out the service in Haitang Bay is the worst among Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay, and Haitang Bay. 😓 1. We arrived at the hotel around 4 PM, and our room wasn't ready yet, so we couldn't check in. The hotel didn't even apologize. 2. They advertised a complimentary children's swim ring, but it was just something you could borrow from the pool area. If they ran out, you were out of luck. If it's not a guaranteed service, they shouldn't advertise it. 3. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strange smell. The room is too old, I wouldn't recommend it. 4. The butler service was decent; if it weren't for that, I wouldn't even give it 3 stars. 5. The beach is quite far from the hotel, at least an 800-meter walk. I won't choose Haitang Bay next time.

This is my first time staying at the St. Regis, and I want to give a thorough review! First: Pre-check-in service! The hotel and butler will contact you in advance, add you on WeChat, and inform you of important notes and arrangements. This is a pretty standard and thoughtful procedure. Second: Hotel check-in time is after 3 PM. To be honest, I used to not think much of it, but now some hotels in China allow check-in after 12 PM. Paying for a full day but only staying for less than 21 hours feels a bit unreasonable. Also, they initially gave me the wrong room number, which was a hassle and put me in a bad mood. Even though they gave a small lion toy as a gift, I still feel that a hotel of this caliber shouldn't make such mistakes. Third: The hotel is considered top luxury in Yalong Bay and isn't cheap. The scenery is indeed stunning, with a huge, very Southeast Asian-style garden. Every corner is picturesque. If you love taking photos, this is the place to be. Fourth: The room environment was quite good, very clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large. We booked a high-floor, ocean-view room, which was great; opening the curtains revealed the sea, incredibly relaxing. On the first day of our stay, all the drinks in the minibar were free, but after that, they cost extra. This isn't very friendly; many hotels of this caliber now replenish and offer free drinks daily. For example, a certain hotel in Clearwater Bay does. Fifth: Butler service! How to put it... my butler was great. However, the hotel's execution of things confirmed with the butler was poor. For example, I booked a Western meal, but no one from the restaurant contacted me. When I arrived, they still needed to reconfirm with me, and we waited half an hour for appetizers while a bunch of food was waiting. Plus, there were three of us dining, but items served by portion were only for two. I had to tell the butler to add the extra portion, even though the order clearly stated two adults and one child. This needs improvement. Sixth: The hotel's travel photography looks great, but there are too many 'tricks.' Because the photos are so beautiful, you'll definitely end up spending more money. Those who can resist spending are truly commendable. Seventh: For such an expensive hotel, there's no free shuttle to the airport. This is really quite inconsiderate. I wonder if this is common for all hotels in Yalong Bay. I would probably come back to stay if I have the chance; the environment is indeed excellent.

The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart. I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience. This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Without me even having to ask, she proactively inquired about my itinerary and daily needs, promptly arranging room cleaning, replenishing beverages, and even thoughtfully providing fruit plates and desserts. When my relatives and friends later checked into the same type of seaview room, they were also handled by the butler throughout their stay. She arranged high-floor rooms with large balconies offering sea views and even provided upgrades. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with fruit plates and desserts – comprehensive and impeccable service. This has been the most outstanding butler service I've experienced in my many years of staying at the Mangrove Tree Resort. I sincerely hope the hotel can cultivate more such excellent service staff. I also want to thank the Trip.com butler who helped me communicate and implement my special check-in requests in advance. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless. As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Strolling through the hotel gardens, gazing at the vast ocean, enjoying delicious food with the sea breeze; at night, sitting alone by the sea, listening to the rhythmic waves, I fully indulge in the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation. I have witnessed the hotel’s growth and transformation over the years and wish to continue accompanying the Mangrove Tree Resort on its journey forward. I look forward to the hotel's continued refinement and the unlocking of more novel and exciting experiences. I anticipate returning next summer for another rendezvous with the mountains and sea. Sanya Haitang Bay Wanda Realm was an absolute gem! The location is incredible, right next to the duty-free shop. After a shopping spree, it was just a few steps back to the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel grounds are massive, with coconut groves and ocean views everywhere you look – every photo is Instagram-worthy. Ella provided such thoughtful service, always there for any little thing we needed, taking care of everything down to the last detail. All I had to do was eat, drink, play, and relax [heart emoji]. I didn't have to worry about a thing, the experience was top-notch. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Sanya! [rose emoji]
