AAnonymous UserMy family and I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Sanya Haitang Bay, and our overall experience was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's facilities and amenities are excellent, and we felt the thoughtful service from the moment we checked in until we departed.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by staff who presented us with fresh orchid leis – a truly lovely touch! When checking in, they even prepared a special, adorable room key card for my child, which made them incredibly happy. The staff patiently explained all the hotel areas and activity schedules, providing meticulous and attentive service.
The room's sea view was fantastic, offering an expansive panorama. Waking up to the clear blue ocean every day was incredibly refreshing. The hotel is very considerate of children; the Kids' Experience Ambassador proactively contacted us to prepare and place all necessary children's amenities in the room, from toiletries to building blocks and a tent. My child had an absolute blast.
The parent-child activities are a major highlight of the hotel, with a rich daily schedule. My child participated in various activities like crafts and games, fully engaged and constantly laughing. We barely needed to plan any additional excursions; my child could enjoy a fulfilling and happy day just within the hotel.
The day before our departure, the Experience Ambassador thoughtfully inquired about our travel plans and even prepared snacks for my child, along with a small souvenir. The service from the Experience Ambassador truly deserves praise and added significantly to our positive experience. They checked in with us daily, offered assistance with parcel deliveries and food orders, saving us a lot of hassle.
This stay was extremely enjoyable. Both the hardware facilities and the soft services left a deep impression. My child had a wonderful time, and we, as adults, found it relaxing and stress-free. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip to Sanya. Tornado 🌪️

AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in numerous luxury hotels for over 30 years and with a background in hotel management myself, this is the first time I've ever given a hotel a bad review!
The reason for the low rating isn't the service; overall, the service was quite good. I'm especially grateful to the butler, who was always responsive and provided excellent service – 100 points for them. However, during my stay, I noticed a recurring issue: when you ask a passing hotel staff member for a small favor, like a pair of chopsticks or a plate change, they might be a middle manager who doesn't directly handle such tasks, or perhaps they're just passing by on their way to something else. They'd reply, 'Okay, just a moment,' and then walk off. Some would eventually return to fulfill the request, others would get busy and never come back. Honestly, a guest's request should simply be met with 'Okay!' and then completed within ten seconds, no 'just a moment' needed.
Now, for the reasons behind the bad review, which I've been holding in for days:
1. The constant 'thump-thump-thump' of helicopters flying back and forth all day, ferrying guests. The noise was maddening.
2. The kids in the downstairs pool were noisy, and the hotel staff organizing their activities even wore megaphones, shouting constantly.
3. The newly built duty-free shop was right next door, adding construction noise and dust flying everywhere!
4. It's peak season, so I understand that rooms are in demand and upgrades aren't available. But after so many years of staying in hotels and being a member, they absolutely refused a 2 PM late checkout, insisting on 1 PM.
5. The breakfast was very mediocre, I don't know why it has so many good reviews. I've stayed at several hotels in Haitang Bay, and this breakfast was subpar. It was all chicken, no fish, no beef, no Hainanese green beans, and the same exact menu every day.
6. The buffet at the 'Skyline' restaurant was an absolute joke. The food was worse than street food.
7. The Häagen-Dazs afternoon dessert at the lobby bar was also a joke; it was unusually bad.

3320399****Joyful Camp Kids' Play Area and Water Park: The staff at the indoor kids' play area were incredibly friendly and approachable, much more so than at many professional children's playgrounds. Although the outdoor kids' play area was a bit chilly (despite being advertised as constant temperature, it wasn't too bad), my child had a great time.
Heated Pool: The temperature was perfect. At other hotels, I've often felt the pools weren't even 28 degrees, and my child would get cold. Here, it was just right. The Lakeside Western Restaurant is right next to it, and it offers good value for money. We ordered lunch by the pool, and for 400 yuan, there was so much food my child couldn't even finish it.
The breakfast was also plentiful, and the room was spacious enough, though the bed was a bit too soft.
The service was the biggest highlight! It made up for any shortcomings. Although check-in took quite a while, their attitude was so good and sincere that I really had nothing to complain about. Overall, the value for money is still quite good. Those who love the sight of a large lawn and the sea from the lobby might find the public area design a bit unconventional. All in all, I'd give it five stars!

GGuest UserTraveling solo, I looked at many hotels and ultimately chose O.N.E. Hotel because I loved its decor. The scent upon entering the hotel was also delightful. I picked a room facing the sea, which was incredibly comfortable and perfect for some quiet contemplation. They also offer various activities like travel photography, yoga, and crafts. When I was bored, I could order a drink or a coconut from the hotel's afternoon tea menu. They also assigned a personal butler, and my butler, Yulia, was lovely. She patiently answered every question, and her smiles always brightened my day. She even helped arrange hotel activities based on my itinerary. All the hotel staff greeted me with a smile. It was a wonderful experience, and I'm looking forward to staying here again next time, especially since the price was so reasonable.

Every key aspect perfectly met our expectations, making the entire stay pleasant and without a single regret!
The front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. They had diligently noted our family's needs, which we had communicated in advance. Check-in was not only quick and efficient, but they also proactively presented a special welcome gift for our child, thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and family activities, and even thoughtfully guided us to the parking area. For those driving, there's absolutely no need to worry about parking convenience.
The 65 sqm guest room offered stunning views that truly amazed us. The private scenic balcony directly overlooked the azure sea and coconut groves. Drawing the curtains in the morning revealed a sight that was utterly therapeutic, and at night, we enjoyed an incredibly beautiful night view, with city lights and the starlight on the sea reflecting off each other, creating an amazing ambiance.
The biggest surprise was how comfortable the bedding was; we just didn't want to get out of bed. The mattress was perfectly balanced in firmness, paired with high-thread-count pure cotton linens that were skin-friendly and breathable. Even family members accustomed to sleeping on harder beds slept soundly through the night. The hotel's soundproofing was astonishingly effective; the sound of waves outside and footsteps in public areas were completely blocked out, leaving only serene quietness at night, which significantly boosted our sleep quality. The toiletries were comprehensive and high-end. The full set of Diptyque Figuier (Greek Fig) scented amenities smelled luxurious, with everything from shampoo and conditioner to body lotion. Even children's dedicated bath products were pre-arranged, showing great attention to detail. Housekeeping was prompt and meticulous. Every day upon returning to the room, it was neatly organized, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, bedding was changed promptly, and even water stains on the table were wiped clean, making us feel completely at ease.
Our butler, Xiao Die, provided exceptionally thoughtful service, perfectly embodying the spirit of anticipating needs. She proactively and quickly responded throughout our stay, resolving any questions we had immediately. The hotel is incredibly family-friendly, with well-equipped children's clubs. The breakfast buffet was dazzlingly rich, offering everything from Chinese steamed dim sum, Western baked goods, freshly cooked noodles, and fresh-cut fruits. The Hainan-style noodle soup and three types of zhajiangmian (noodles with fried sauce) were authentic, and the bread pudding and French toast in the dessert section were particularly delightful. Both adults and children could find something they loved. Furthermore, the hotel boasts five outdoor swimming pools, a private beach, an executive lounge, and other comprehensive facilities, catering to everything from relaxation to family entertainment. It truly excelled in every aspect without any shortcomings.
This stay perfectly met all our expectations. The bedding, soundproofing, views, and service were all impeccable. It's our top choice for a family vacation, and we will definitely return to Sanya and stay here again!

GGuest UserThe Grand Hotel was the first hotel we stayed at as a family, and it was a great choice. The location is lively, the price was right, and it even has a heated children's pool. The room wasn't small and had a bathtub.
I knew the hotel was a bit older, but the service was exceptional. Before we even checked in, Gina from guest services added me on WeChat, asked about our needs, and even upgraded our room. Throughout our stay, any requests were handled promptly. We had a small hiccup on the first night, but it was resolved quickly, and they even extended our check-out and provided a hotel car to take us to our next accommodation. The room itself was also lovely. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

The service was excellent, especially our housekeeper Nicole, who provided daily, comprehensive reminders that were spot-on. Traveling with my child, we felt so much joy and security. We stayed for two days, and unexpectedly, Nicole even gave my child a small gift before we checked out. My child was thrilled! We're so grateful to Nicole for adding such a wonderful touch to our trip.
The Xiangzhen Garden Party (featuring colorful go-karts, bouncy clouds, clown shows, touhu, archery, blindfolded gong hitting, fire dance performances, and bonfire interactions) was incredibly fun. My child absolutely loved it.

GGuest UserOur first stop for the winter break trip to Sanya! Rose, our wonderful butler, added me on WeChat several days in advance, providing thoughtful and comprehensive service. When we got out of the car, the bellhop single-handedly took care of all four of our bags! He was so impressive carrying all of them. Initially, we thought about checking in at the lobby on the first floor, but there were quite a few people waiting. Rose suggested we go directly to the executive lounge on the 3rd floor instead. The lobby attendant kindly guided us to the elevator, which was very considerate! Once at the executive lounge, I handled the check-in while the seniors took the kids to get some water and fruit. The lady who checked us in was beautiful, kind, and had a lovely smile. The young photographer was also excellent at directing poses, and all the photos turned out great. Everyone was very professional and enthusiastic. In the end, Rose even arranged for a small tent to be set up in our room for the kids and helped us get a late check-out until 1 PM. Oh, and the scenery outside the hotel is absolutely stunning – I even saw the sunrise in the morning! I feel it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay for more days next time!

GGuest UserI booked the room through Trip.com, and as a Platinum member, I didn't get any member benefits. The service staff I encountered earlier were all very indifferent until the butler Didan showed up, and then I finally experienced the Marriott quality (FYI: Didan is a girl 😂). When I checked in, I reserved dinner for the next day, but when we arrived, there was no record of our reservation, which meant we couldn't get our preferred seating. Didan helped us try to coordinate a table change, but we had to leave soon so we didn't end up switching. The front desk didn't offer any explanation either. Breakfast butler Allen provided excellent service during breakfast; he noticed our baby wasn't eating well and even offered to pack some bread for the baby to take with us when we checked out.
