Sanya Hotels with Bars

This was my first time staying at The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, and overall it was quite good. Although we experienced typhoon weather for both nights, the hotel stay was excellent. It's well-located near the duty-free shop, making shopping convenient. The resort grounds are vast and it's right by the beach. Our butler, Ella, also provided excellent service. 🏨 Room Type: We stayed in a high-floor sea view room. From the balcony, we could see the entire hotel public area and the distant sea view, which was spectacular and expansive. The hotel's public areas are beautiful, and looking out, it truly felt like a vacation. The room was also quite spacious and very comfortable. 💁🏻♀️ Service: We were contacted by phone the day before to confirm our itinerary, and we had a dedicated butler. All our requests were met. I'd especially like to commend our butler, Ella, for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and prompt responses. She greatly enhanced our trip, and we'll definitely seek her out again next time! 🍲 Dining Service: We tried breakfast and lunch at Mai Restaurant, as well as a seafood BBQ buffet dinner. The dining experience was very good. Mai Restaurant's à la carte system allowed us to enjoy exquisite and delicious meals. Although the BBQ buffet dinner was moved indoors, the overall food selection was quite rich. I highly recommend the 'zaopo cu fen' (a type of noodle dish with sour and spicy broth) – it was delicious, and the durian mille-feuille was also great!

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! Butler Lili proactively contacted us in advance and communicated with us throughout our stay, providing exceptional and thoughtful service. We were assigned the highest floor, and the room was spacious with a fantastic sea view. Most of the parent-child activities are free, like paddleboarding and the mini-train, which other places usually charge for, making it excellent value for money. I also want to commend the staff at the kids' club; when one of our tokens wasn't recognized, they gave us six new ones. Our little one managed to win the bag she wanted with those last tokens, which made her very happy. Generally, InterContinental gives me the impression of being very generous, not a stingy hotel at all. The experience was top-notch, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Sanya.

Traveling with family, we booked a twin room on the 11th floor. The room was quite spacious, enough for three people! There were many family activities arranged, but they felt a bit perfunctory, as it's not a dedicated family hotel after all. The butler only contacted us after check-in, and the welcome fruit was delivered on the second night. The butler service was great and basically accommodated all our requests. I heard the Grand Hyatt's breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and it truly was! The breakfast definitely deserves high praise. However, the low rating is due to the hygiene conditions. 1. The small bed had a takeout food smell, I'm not sure why. The next morning, my child's arm had many bites. We informed the front desk, and they arranged for pest control and a change of bedding. 2. The room had a pervasive musty smell, even the pillows, perhaps because it had been raining for a few days. The front desk arranged a room change to the 12th floor, but that room also had a musty smell, so we just gave up. They provided a dehumidifier, which is better than nothing. Upon check-out, the hotel, feeling they hadn't satisfied us, offered either an airport transfer or lunch. Those who understand, understand the intention behind this! Overall, it didn't meet my expectations.

Traveling with my baby during the off-peak season, we unfortunately encountered a tropical storm, but the rainy Edition was still wonderful. We took the baby to the rooftop spa pool, and afterwards, we watched the Mid-Autumn Festival exclusive performance. Dinner at Xianlu was also excellent, and breakfast was rich and varied. I especially loved the separate section for milk and yogurt, with many natural flavors for the baby to choose from. After the rain cleared, the coconut grove was also beautiful, and the artificial beach was perfect for the baby to dig in the sand without any waves. Our butler, Guaishou, was very thoughtful throughout our stay and even prepared a gift for the baby. It was a very memorable stay.

I've been to Sanya many times, but I've never really taken the time to relax and enjoy it. When I saw this package from Trip.com, I noticed the hotel, though old, was close to the airport and had high online ratings, so I decided to give it a try. The day before arrival, I received a call from the hotel front desk. I informed them I'd be arriving on an early morning flight and hoped for an upgrade. They said it wouldn't be a problem and everything was arranged, which made me feel pretty good. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found it was indeed old, and the service was genuinely poor. The front desk staff had a cold expression, told me no rooms were available yet, and an upgrade was out of the question. I really couldn't understand how the hotel trained its staff. I was completely dumbfounded. With no other option, I contacted Trip.com customer service, and I really have to commend them. They were incredibly patient and enthusiastic in helping us communicate with the hotel. After much back-and-forth, we finally checked into a satisfactory room by 3 PM. The hotel butler was quite welcoming, but the afternoon tea and evening Happy Hour at the executive lounge were truly disappointing. There were only a few pastries, and in the evening, they added some hot tofu. We had no interest in going back on the second day. Sanya is still a great place, and the hotel is very close to Wuzhizhou Island, but I probably won't choose this hotel again next time.

Sheraton Haitang Bay has lots of kids friendly activities throughout the day and a mini train to take us through the prooperties (it goes to the next door JW Mariott properties as well). The family bicycle is also useful to take leisurely stroll around. We got a free upgrade to a room with swimming pool right outside our balcony which is fantastic - the kids love it! Late in-room dining of wenchang chicken rice and seafood fried rice were also delicious. Great experience overall

This time, with two friends, I chose the Hua Hai Ge Ocean View Twin Room at The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay, and the experience absolutely lived up to the 'Ritz-Carlton' name. Location and Views: The hotel is right in the heart of Yalong Bay. From the lobby, the sea is right before your eyes. The Chinese imperial garden design is grand yet relaxing. The Hua Hai Ge is in the closest proximity to the sea. We requested a direct ocean view room, and the staff kindly arranged it for us. Waking up and drawing the curtains to a panoramic blue ocean, then sitting on the terrace with tea, watching the sea, was incredibly pleasant. Room and Facilities: The twin room starts at over 60 square meters, with two 1.5-meter beds that were very spacious and not at all cramped. The room has a Chinese resort style, featuring double vanity sinks and an open-concept walk-in closet with great attention to detail. The balcony is wide, offering unobstructed sea views. Executive Lounge Privileges: The Hua Hai Ge comes with executive benefits. We checked in at the lounge, which had a very quiet ambiance. The five daily offerings, from afternoon tea to evening drinks, were high-quality and essentially saved us the cost of a main meal. It's perfect for a relaxed holiday. Service: Before arrival, our butler proactively contacted us with a hotel guide, and they were very responsive upon our arrival. Any daily necessities we needed were promptly delivered to the room after a quick call to the front desk. We could also order takeout to the entrance and have staff deliver it to our room. All staff members greeted us with smiles, making the overall experience very comfortable. Dining and Leisure: Breakfast was at the all-day dining restaurant. You must try the beef noodle soup; they are generous with the beef, and even two bowls weren't enough. The hotel has multiple pools, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. A post-dinner stroll along the beach was very enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with sea views and hassle-free service in Yalong Bay, the Hua Hai Ge Twin Room is an excellent choice. I would consider staying here again.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to the exceptional service from our butler, Xiao Jin. I have to commend her highly. From her proactive inquiries about any special needs before check-in, handling the check-in process, reserving our dinner table, to assisting with various requests during our stay, and even arranging airport transfer after we checked out – Xiao Jin was always patient, responsive, and meticulously thorough. Her attentiveness to detail was evident, never intrusive, yet always there when needed. The professional and thoughtful service made our stay incredibly relaxing and comfortable. I'm thoroughly satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Yalong Bay, specifically by the Yalong Bay Totem Pole. The surrounding area offers plenty of shopping and dining options. While a few of the hotel's facilities were a bit underwhelming, it is, after all, an established high-end hotel with a rich heritage. Overall, it's highly recommended!

I chose the Sanya Haitang Bay Mangrove Resort for my trip to Sanya this time, and overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. I booked a sea-view room, and the balcony faced the ocean directly. Waking up to the sea view in the morning was fantastic. The room was spacious enough, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a bathtub on the balcony – soaking in it while looking at the sea was really enjoyable. The breakfast had a wide variety and tasted good. Our butler, Steven, provided excellent service. He contacted us in advance to prepare the room, and he was very quick to respond on WeChat whenever we had questions. There are several swimming pools, and even transparent kayaks. The 'pet zone' was also a good way to pass the time. In the evening, there were free iron flower and fire dance performances on the lawn, which were quite lively.

I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Ella, the butler at Wanda Realm! To be honest, the room facilities are a bit dated; you can definitely see the age in the bathroom and furniture. But that didn't detract from our experience at all, because the butler service was simply outstanding! From adding her on WeChat to communicate our needs during check-in, to receiving daily thoughtful weather and activity reminders, every request was met with a prompt response. The butler even specially delivered a fresh fruit platter to our room. And at check-out, she had prepared Hainan specialty souvenirs. The attention to detail was incredible, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor environment is absolutely stunning! The sand on the beach is as fine as flour, the seawater is crystal clear, and every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. The complimentary travel photoshoot was an even bigger surprise; the photographer patiently guided our poses, and the results were simply amazing. We ended up buying a package of over twenty photos, which was far better than any roadside photographer – why even bother with a bicycle when you have a luxury car? (a Chinese idiom meaning 'why settle for less when you can have the best') Honestly, I truly believe that without the dedicated efforts of these high-quality professionals, this hotel would struggle to operate so smoothly. The hardware might be old, but the warmth of the people makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values service experience!
