"Beppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling. If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later. Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces."

"This is the place I always stay when I come to Beppu. When I come to Beppu, I always look for accommodations through Airbnb. Due to the nature of Japan, it is difficult to find a large room. Com House is a very comfortable place for two people to stay from the smallest room 301 to the 4th floor. In addition to the comfortable and spacious space, the accommodation is equipped with various kitchenware, so it is a great environment for me who usually stays long term. The coast is close, so it is good to go for a walk at night, and Yume Town is less than a 4-minute walk away, so even if it is a bit far from Beppu Station, it is not a big problem. (It is a 10-minute walk, and for tourists, it seems that the bus station is closer than Beppu Station.) The master is also a kind and warm person. When I first stayed at this accommodation, he came to fix the broken air conditioner even though it was evening. He was a really nice person who liked small talk. There are only stairs, so it is a little inconvenient to move your luggage, but even with that, this is the accommodation I always look for first when I come to Beppu."

"I was assigned a room on the first floor; the second floor is a bit noisy. Everything else was great. There's parking available, one free parking space per room. The room was spacious, with two double beds, a bathtub, a toilet, a kitchen, a microwave, an IH oven, and, importantly, free washing machine and dryer, along with complimentary laundry balls. Self-check-in is feasible for young people, but might be more challenging for elderly guests or those unfamiliar with technology. If multiple groups are checking in, there might be a wait. I would definitely book this hotel again if I travel to the area again, and I would recommend it to family and friends."

"The overall accommodation experience was good, the only problem was that the PIN provided by Trip.com couldn't get us into the hotel at check-in. We tried using the hotel's PIN lookup system, but it showed that the Trip.com booking confirmation code didn't exist. Since there was no front desk, we had to wait outside for fifteen minutes. We didn't have a Japanese phone number, but the hotel had a sign at the entrance saying to call them for assistance. Fortunately, Trip.com offered a phone call service, which allowed us to contact the hotel. However, the hotel staff who assisted us weren't fluent in English or Chinese. We spent a considerable amount of time trying to communicate in English, leaving us exhausted from waiting outside. The quality of the entire accommodation experience was very good. The only problem was that when we first checked in, the pin code provided by trip.com could not enter the hotel gate. We tried to use the pin code query system at the hotel gate, but it showed that the reservation confirmation code provided by trip.com did not exist. them. Fortunately, trip.com provides a hotel calling service, which allowed us to contact the hotel. However the person who assisted us in the hotel was not fluent in English and Chinese. We spent quite a while trying to communicate in English, and we were exhausted waiting outside the door."

"Pros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too! Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us. TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch! Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system! Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up. Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay! Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!"

"The place I located 10 minute walk from Beppu station. The checkin is done through a tablet on the reception. Unmanned. Make sure you have the entrance pin code. Not the easiest of checkins. The walls in the bathroom are dusty, the AC too. The bathroom is not heated, so very cold. We had the AC on max, still very cold, there was a cold draft from one of the light switches. The beds are comfy and clean."

"The lock on the first-floor main door was broken, posing a significant security concern. There are only four rooms in total, and no elevator; luggage had to be carried up the stairs to the second floor. Our room on the second floor had a window without curtains, so we immediately took photos and emailed customer service for assistance. Customer service replied that there was an iron gate on the outside that we could open, so the response was quite fast. One of the sinks was clogged and leaking slowly. The bathroom heater and humidifier were very dusty, but we were able to clean the dust off the heater ourselves. The room was spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with two IH stoves, making cooking very fast. Parking was free, but a 3-5 minute walk away."
