The rooms are clean and the hot spring water is excellent! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I loved that I could enjoy unlimited beer and drinks. The only downside is that the door is thin, so the soundproofing isn't great. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I stayed with my family during our trip to Beppu, and it exceeded all my expectations. We wanted to experience a traditional-style Ryokan, and this was the perfect choice. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everything was well managed. One of the highlights was the ability to reserve a private bath, which made the experience even more relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, making it an ideal place to rest and unwind. The location is also convenient—just a 7-10 minute taxi ride from Beppu Station. I highly recommend this Ryokan to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Beppu!

This hotel has it all, even a water filter for drinking water, not to mention a whole box of laundry detergent for washing clothes, and a drying rack on the balcony. On the first floor, there's a lobby with a variety of free drinks. The breakfast on the top floor is also incredibly rich, costing about 250 NTD per person. The curry rice, miso soup, tamagoyaki, and side dishes are abundant. We even ordered a grilled meat set meal for dinner, which was luxurious and affordable. I honestly suspect the owner doesn't care about costs, just wants guests to enjoy themselves. There are also parking spaces at the entrance. The rooftop restaurant offers over a 250-degree view of the beach, ocean, and nightscape, which is absolutely beautiful. Nearby, you can take a walk along the beach and enjoy Beppu Onsen. This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and clean, and the private hot spring tub filled up quickly. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying a drink melted away all the day's fatigue. It really captured the essence of a Japanese onsen ryokan. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; we were greeted with hot tea and snacks as soon as we arrived, making us feel right at home. The only minor drawback was that the dinner selection was a bit limited, but overall, it was a superb experience. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, and I'll definitely bring my family back next time!

The environment is excellent, and transportation is fairly convenient. The sand baths are very close, and the room is right by the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. There's also a park nearby. The only downside is that dining options are limited. The room even has a hot spring!

This spacious accommodation is ideal for a family getaway with several members. It was tidy and cozy, making it a pleasant place to stay with my kids. The highlight was the garden outside and the large windows that let in the morning sun, creating a lovely atmosphere for breakfast while gazing outside. Unfortunately, the hot spring was out of order when we got there, but it appeared to be large enough for two people to enjoy. I was initially concerned that the size of the apartment would make it chilly upon arrival, but the heating system was effective, and the place warmed up quickly.

Gorgeous hotel on the bay in Beppu with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Hotel is modern and beautiful, influenced by traditional craftsmanship and architecture. Meals are delicious and draw on local delicacies. Service is so-so. Staff seem overwhelmed and distant. Lots of activities planned for guests, but noise doesn’t travel. Hot springs are relaxing, although there are only two baths inside and one, small one outside. Shop is not great. Would recommend the hotel consider selling some of the dish ware or toiletries in the bathroom or other crafts and or local products from Oita, etc.

A cozy inn in the Kannawa area. Perfect for those who want to avoid spending time traveling, as it's close to the ”Hell Tour” hot springs. We enjoyed all-you-can-eat wagyu steak, a buffet, and à la carte dishes brought to our table, ensuring we could eat piping hot food. Alcohol and soft drinks were also all-you-can-drink. I wanted to try everything, but unfortunately, I'm getting older and can't eat as much. The hot springs had a limited variety of baths, but bath towels and regular towels were available in the main bath, so it was nice to be able to use fresh ones each time. I would like to visit again with my family if I have the opportunity.

I booked this hotel specifically for the private onsen in the room. When I first turned on the water, there was a strange smell, and I noticed some floating particles, which was quite off-putting. However, I later realized it was the natural sulfur smell of the hot spring, and the particles were inherent to the onsen water itself (as explained in the brochure), which put my mind at ease. The hotel environment is fantastic. The breakfast and dinner menus were different each of the two nights, which was wonderful. The food alone made it worth the price; it's the best value-for-money onsen hotel I've ever stayed at. It was my favorite part of the entire Kyushu trip! I definitely want to come back again in the winter.

It is an old ryokan. The bathroom also needs to be equipped with hot and cold water. The size of the room is satisfactory. It's very cold, but you can control the heater. Although it is a weekend, the price is too expensive and you have to pay a 1000 yen hot spring tax even if you do not use the hot spring when you check out.
