HHulalakaihuaFacilities: Grand and luxurious Cleanliness: Satisfactory Ambiance: Fantastic Service: Impeccably managed This place is truly a paradise, a real wonderland! It felt ethereal with gentle wisps of white mist drifting everywhere. We paid extra to upgrade to a large suite, offering stunning views of the distant harbor. As soon as we pulled up the hotel's driveway, valet parking was immediately available. Among the staff, one of the valet attendants was a very handsome French guy with an exceptional service mindset. Another staff member, a tall Black gentleman (around 2 meters), even knelt down to enthusiastically explain the room types and hotel facilities to us. We were genuinely impressed and touched by their passionate service. We will definitely be returning for another stay! The hotel's dining options are also excellent – highly recommend trying them out!

KKsenia KrylovaA small, quiet hostel on a quiet street. Three of us stayed in a quadruple room. Clean towels and a trash bag were provided daily. The mattresses are soft, the pillows are high. I found the pillow a bit uncomfortable, so I had to remove it. The room has a stove, kettle, paper cups, and a refrigerator. The lobby has a microwave, plates, spoons, forks, a stove, a refrigerator, more paper cups, and drink machines (several types of soda, water, hot water, coffee, green tea, and corn soup). All drinks are complimentary. There are also shelves with manga and other books, a TV, and two game consoles. We didn't use them, though. There's also a small shelf with onsen essentials: shampoo, shower gel, cotton swabs, paper towels, and other items. These can be borrowed and then returned. The lobby also has information in English about nearby cafes and onsens. The staff speak excellent English and can help you navigate the city, such as choosing an onsen. The hostel has a self-service laundry: washing is 300 yen (40 minutes), drying is 100 yen for 15 minutes. I usually pay 200 yen upfront because nothing dries in 15 minutes. We didn't have enough mosquito nets on the windows: in the evening, we'd open the window to air out the room, and in the morning, we'd be counting the mosquito bites. The only consolation was that the mosquitoes were quiet and didn't bite, meaning they didn't interfere with our sleep.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated 15 minutes taxi ride from the Beppu station. So we have nowhere to go that night. But it's good enough to have hotspring and drinks in the hotel. The staff is very polite and can explain what you can do in English. Then you were lead to the room and tips rejected. We booked the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The dinner time is either 6pm or 6:30pm and the breakfast time 8am or 8:30. The dinner is good but maybe my expectation is quite high, it didn't reach my expectation, especially for the sashimi. For the onsen, there are 4 private onsens and 2 public. One of the private onsens is closed. Therefore we can use 3. You can use the private onsen when it is not occupied. Just lock the door and turn the plate to the other side. But all the onsen are closed by 12 midnight. And there is a room with free flow beer and soda, but it closes at 10pm. Don't drink beer before taking hotspring. There is also an onsen in our room which can be used anytime. It's hot at night but not so hot in the next morning. Overall, the view is good. The staff is good. The food is good (just not so great) and the onsens are good. Beppu is a good place to stay a few days more

AAnonymous UserThe room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station, just down the alley from Takegawara Onsen. It's surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping malls, and is close to the beach and Beppu Tower. Takegawara Onsen offers a sand bath, but I didn't try it again because I'd already tried it in Ibusuki. This is a very traditional Japanese-style hotel, with relatively large tatami rooms. The facilities appear dated, but they are very clean. There are no private showers, so you need to use the communal baths (sitz baths and hot springs). The hotel also has private baths available for reservation and a fee. Daily housekeeping is not included, so you need to leave your trash at the door each day, where it will be collected by staff. Towels and bathrobes are provided for the two days before your stay, and you can pick them up at the front desk if you need more. Since there's no room service, the bed isn't made, so you have to make it yourself. I initially thought it would be a little awkward, but it was surprisingly easy to adapt to. There is a laundry room, which costs 300 yen for unlimited use during your stay, but there are only two washers and dryers, and there's a queue during peak hours. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. Breakfast is a set meal, and the restaurant staff are also very friendly. The meals are different every day during the three-day stay, which is a plus! Beppu is really comfortable and relaxing. I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future~

GGuest UserThis hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk. 2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit. 3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China. 4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided. 5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.

CClean_MartinI've stayed here before, and this time I brought a friend and booked a larger room. It's a historic inn, but the building and decor don't feel old at all. The Japanese-style room has a really nice vibe, and the smell of the tatami mats is so soothing. The room itself is incredibly spacious; I honestly think three or four people could comfortably stay in that one large tatami room. On the top floor, there's a hot spring with one indoor bath, a small outdoor bath, and a small sauna, all using natural hot spring water. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but all the dishes are local specialties or popular items from Oita Prefecture, so you'll definitely eat well and feel full. The downstairs parking used to be free, but now it costs 700 yen per night.

CCtfan88The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

JJo TanPros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too! Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us. TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch! Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system! Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up. Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay! Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!
