Mountain view Hotels in Beppu

After reading other reviews, they were all overwhelmingly positive. Having stayed in numerous hotels, the ANA InterContinental Beppu definitely ranks in my top three. First, let's talk about transportation: Beppu Station is quite small. Remember to exit from the West Exit (this was told to us by the hotel shuttle driver; apparently, many international guests wait for a long time at the East Exit only to find out it's the West Exit). The hotel is about a twenty-minute drive away. Next, the service: What was really surprising is that more than half of the hotel staff are non-Japanese. Every single foreign staff member spoke excellent Japanese, with perfect mastery of honorifics. Finally, the room facilities: The onsen (hot spring bath) is small but beautiful. The infinity pool isn't very deep, making it suitable for children. It was still a bit chilly in March, but luckily, there's a warm pool nearby where you can soak for a while. The restaurant offers great value for money. Children aged 6-12 get half price, which is around 2,700 yen. In the evening, there's an all-you-can-drink option for adults at 5,000 yen, including sparkling wine, house wine, shochu, and beer.

What an amazing place! We had a wonderful time “glamping” at the Grand Verde Resort. From first being greeted upon check in till our departure the attention to detail and hospitality were top notch! We especially loved the delicious breakfast and dinner spread, the Public Bath, and sauna, and the hobbit houses. The gorgeous views from our yurt in the mountains were breathtaking and we were able to see millions of stars at night on the clear evenings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars!!! Highly recommend this place for your next getaway!

Be sure to set a package with breakfast and dinner! ! When you eat the wall, you have everything you need in the sashimi pot. The price of dinner wine is also very reasonable, and I will come back to 🥹 There is no one in the morning soup pool, which is the treatment of private soup. It is very convenient for the hotel to arrange pick-up and drop-off at Beppu Station by phone.

Beppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling. If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later. Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces.

A cozy inn in the Kannawa area. Perfect for those who want to avoid spending time traveling, as it's close to the ”Hell Tour” hot springs. We enjoyed all-you-can-eat wagyu steak, a buffet, and à la carte dishes brought to our table, ensuring we could eat piping hot food. Alcohol and soft drinks were also all-you-can-drink. I wanted to try everything, but unfortunately, I'm getting older and can't eat as much. The hot springs had a limited variety of baths, but bath towels and regular towels were available in the main bath, so it was nice to be able to use fresh ones each time. I would like to visit again with my family if I have the opportunity.

This hotel boasts a great location, perfect for enjoying the scenic steam rising from Yumetake. However, the view of Kannawa was a bit disappointing due to ongoing construction in front. Among all the ryokans I've stayed at in the Kannawa area, this one had the largest open-air bath – it was absolutely wonderful! Dinner was neat and tidy. I distinctly remember selecting a room with a bathtub when booking, but the room I was assigned didn't have one. I knew that rooms with and without bathtubs had different prices, so it left a rather unsettling, even upsetting, feeling. Despite that, the hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the Hells of Beppu!

Wonderful place. I wanted to stay at a ryokan with a vintage feel, with tatami mats and futons. This was a wonderful choice! Nice room, with a dust collector, air conditioning, a thermos with tea and a tea set, a portable makeup mirror, a clothes drying rack, a nearly full-length mirror, a sitting area (table and two chairs) by the window, a refrigerator, four futons, two large and two small towels, geta slippers, and socks changed daily. Kaiseki breakfast, not everything to my taste, but I certainly didn't leave hungry. Free beer as much as you want, you pour yourself on the first floor, as well as a mini tea/coffee/water machine. The baths are amazing, beautiful!!! Very beautiful and atmospheric! It's a joy, there's no other way to describe it. All the amenities are provided, including a powerful hairdryer. Everything is thoughtfully thought out at the hotel! On the ground floor, there are disposable skin care products for after-sauna treatments. The grounds are also beautiful and well-maintained. There are umbrellas at the entrance for guests; you can borrow them and return them upon arrival. What I liked most was the view from the window of room 302; I'll attach a photo. I was also impressed with the service. I'm very grateful to the girl at reception; she was very pleasant. And since I'm from Russia and can't use taxi apps, she called a taxi for me over the phone. Thank you! I really didn't want to leave; I loved the hotel! I definitely recommend it!

Beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful and green area with magnificent views of the mountains and smoke from hot springs. The hotel itself has hot springs and baths in a lovely garden. Very nice and spacious room with lots of toiletries available downstairs. Within walking distance of the 7 hells of Beppu.

For my winter break trip to Japan, I continued exploring Kyushu, specifically Beppu and Yufuin. In Beppu, I stayed at this established onsen hotel. It wasn't expensive, and when I booked, it was the last room available. I kept checking countless times to see if a larger room would open up, but none did. My husband, due to his state-owned company job, couldn't travel, so it was just me and my son, which ended up being perfectly fine. The hotel initially even set up three futons for us in the tatami room. The onsen was very relaxing. There were a lot of Korean guests at the hotel; I noticed them all at breakfast. Our room had a sea view, which I really liked. For housekeeping, they only offer free cleaning on the third day if you stay for three consecutive nights. Otherwise, it costs 3000 yen per cleaning. We figured it wasn't worth it since we didn't have much trash anyway, and I didn't bother making the bed. The hot springs also offered sea views, though we only used them at night. Soaking in them before bed was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety of local Kyushu dishes. I ate there for two days straight and didn't get tired of it. In terms of transportation, it's about a 100-meter walk from the Beppu bus terminal if you're coming from Fukuoka. The JR station is also only about a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Overall, I think it offers pretty good value for money.

Beppu Kaizan Accommodation Review If I were to summarize my experience staying at Beppu Kaizan, the most impressive thing was the private open-air bath in the room. In particular, the structure of this open-air bath naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors was truly legendary. When I soaked my body indoors and then went outside, I felt a sense of openness and was able to maximize the charm of the hot spring. Good points ✔ Private open-air bath structure – Hot spring naturally extending from the indoors to the outdoors, allowing for private healing ✔ Large pot provided – Convenient because you can boil water yourself ✔ Location – Approximately 2,350 yen by taxi from Beppu Station (Kaizan will call you a taxi directly) If you want to enjoy a private hot spring in a quiet environment, Beppu Kaizan is definitely a satisfactory choice.
