Amazing
MM224587****This hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Japan. Nestled on the hillside, the views from the window are breathtaking, especially from the infinity pool where you can overlook most of Beppu. It gives you a sense of serene detachment from the urban clamor, as if you're uniquely clear-headed amidst a busy world. During our stay, there were occasional showers, and after the rain, the mountains would often become shrouded in mist, making the landscape incredibly dynamic – sometimes clear and picturesque, other times beautifully hazy and ethereal.
The hotel's hot springs (onsen) are another major feature. The male and female baths are separate, ensuring privacy, and each has its own outdoor bath. What's more, the male and female sections switch over daily, so if you stay two nights, you get to experience both unique bath areas. The hotel also provides guests with traditional Japanese yukata robes and geta (wooden clogs).
Regarding transportation, since the hotel is on a hillside, they offer a shuttle bus. However, it's small with limited seating, so reservations are essential. What's fantastic is that if you can't reserve a spot, the hotel *provides a taxi free of charge*. Let me emphasize that: free, free, free! So, the only potential inconvenience of staying here is perfectly addressed.
While the standard breakfast selection is decent, they also have a 'hidden menu' – definitely ask for it!

Amazing
GGuest UserIt was a very clean hotel and I had a comfortable stay.
The staff were very attentive and helpful in responding to each of my requests. They were also very kind to my children.
Once you've stayed here, you'll definitely want to return.
I've stayed here many times, and each time a new wing is built, it's always evolving in a good way.
The buffet (with all-you-can-drink alcohol) and hot springs are the best!
LLamLamLam1We booked a package with dinner and breakfast for two days and one night. Since we don’t eat beef, the clerk replaced the Hell Steamer and gave us a family soup. It was under maintenance and it didn’t have much impact because the room has a private hot spring. Since I didn’t want to bathe outside, I booked a room with a bathroom. The experience was very good and very comfortable. The clerk was very proactive in using Google Translate to communicate and was very friendly. It was a good experience during this trip to Beppu! The only thing is that it would be better if the room lighting could be warmer.
GGELA5111I chose this place because it seemed the cleanest among the Beppu accommodations.
The room was clean, the room was spacious, and the view was amazing.
There's a private bath fee of 1,500 yen.
It felt like a business hotel.
There was only one thing I liked:
The room was spacious and clean.
The dinner buffet wasn't much different from other hotel buffets.
I was looking forward to the Oita Wagyu beef, but it was tough and the food wasn't prepared with any care.
The rest of the food was like a 3-star buffet.
GGuest UserThe transportation is quite convenient. You can get there by walking a few dozen meters uphill from the bus stop. The main entrance is being renovated and a simple 🪜 is built. You can carry your luggage up and down! Several major hells are very close. If you want to go to other places, you can go to the tourist information center to take a bus. It takes no more than ten minutes to walk there. There is a room facing east to see the sea and sunrise. If you are on a higher floor, you can see the White Pond Hell below! Dinner is delivered to the room.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel building is artistic designed, staff are super helpful and friendly, and fusion dishes at the Peak restaurant are excellent. The environment and surrounding are very pleasant but don’t expect convenience stores nearby.
The only negative thing is they have onsen built in the room. When first stepped into the bedroom, there’s a strong smell of sulfur. The hotel probably wants to address it by having good ventilation such as air freshener machine prior to check in otherwise guests would get the wrong impression of poor/dirty drainage.
SSarah H.Beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful and green area with magnificent views of the mountains and smoke from hot springs. The hotel itself has hot springs and baths in a lovely garden. Very nice and spacious room with lots of toiletries available downstairs. Within walking distance of the 7 hells of Beppu.
HHIROLLYTriple room for a family of four.
The hot spring is only an indoor bath, but it's great value for money.
I recommend not ordering breakfast, but looking for a place that serves breakfast instead!
EErasedejiyiThis hotel is very cost-effective and has good services. The facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the use. The room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. There are not many people in the hot spring pool, two indoor and outdoor, with three or four bathing places respectively. There is a microwave on the tenth floor of the hotel. Opposite the room we stayed is a large lawn with a good view. There is a large supermarket on foot. There is also a restaurant that makes delicious tempura next to the hotel. If you go late, you have to queue. I will consider it next time.
GGuest UserThis is my first overseas trip with my child.
It's old and the facilities are not very good.
I used a double room.
I slept under the quilt because it was a floor, not a bed.
There's a humidifier.
First of all
The rice was delicious.
I made a mistake and had dinner and breakfast.
It was delicious.
After eating, I took a picture.
The attached photo is breakfast.
For the reference, it was good that there was no Korean
It seems that outdoor swimming pools are available in summer.
