Hot Springs Hotels in Kangding

This trip to Western Sichuan was a fantastic hotel experience! The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light. It was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also good, ensuring a very peaceful and restful sleep. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, with all the daily toiletries and leisure areas well-maintained. The absolute highlight was the natural hot spring. The spring water is live water directly drawn from underground, and the temperature was perfect. The hot spring pools were very clean and well-kept, leaving me feeling completely relaxed after a soak. The infinity hot spring pool had clean water and a suitable depth, making it very enjoyable for both swimming and playing. Throughout my stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to any requests. They were warm and thoughtful. Overall, the stay far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for a vacation in Western Sichuan!

We arrived after 11 PM, and the staff was incredibly responsible, helping us out with everything. The room was in excellent condition, and the cleanliness was reassuring. Breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. Waking up to fresh air and a great view made the stay even better. The overall experience was fantastic, and I'd definitely stay here again if I come back!

The girls who greeted us were really nice and responsible. However, the room facilities were just so-so. At 2k a night, considering the view and amenities, the value for money was very low. The courtyard wasn't very private, and the toiletries were poorly provided. They provided two small conditioners but no body lotion, and it was placed near the sink. For four people (two adults and two children), there were only two mouthwash cups – clearly, you can't judge a book by its cover. Also, I suggest the owner not be so mercenary. Making money and it being peak season are understandable. Breakfast was just a bowl of rice noodles, which was already quite perfunctory. Asking for coffee was met with an extra charge, although the girls later provided it, the experience was still terrible. How much does a cup of coffee cost? Not to mention, I spent over 600 yuan on a bland hot pot dinner at their restaurant that evening. There were barely any chicken pieces, yet the whole pot cost 388 yuan. The next day, I went to Kangding city and had a yak hot pot that my family of four ate until we were stuffed, and it only cost 200 yuan. There were many other small details, but I won't go into them. I hope the owner can maintain good quality and value for money while making money. Don't try to make a quick buck. Thanks again to the girls for their service.

We were driving from Tagong Grassland to Xinduqiao when we spotted this really unique hotel! ☺️ We immediately pulled over to check it out. The price was right, so we booked it online on the spot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and super nice. She showed us a couple of rooms 😆 and the views from both were stunning. My sister ended up choosing the room with the curved balcony. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. My Apple Watch even showed my sleep quality score as 90! That night, it snowed – experiencing all four seasons in one day on the plateau is no exaggeration! The room had underfloor heating, so it was warm and not dry at all. For breakfast, my favorites were the steamed dumplings and the tremella soup. Just look at the pictures for the comparison! 😘 Snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, prayer flags, and meadows were all within sight. We even encountered some falling snow along the way – that's the ultimate romance unique to western Sichuan. Encountering the most breathtaking scenery in the shortest amount of time. The facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

First of all, the owner and his wife have created a very unique and beautiful B&B. Each room is unique. We chose a room with a hot spring view. After a few words with the owner, he said the townhouse hot spring room was more comfortable, so we switched. That evening, the owner's wife personally made a hot spring soup with wild mushrooms and yak beef, and the yak beef was truly delicious. In the evening, the owner took us and our dog to play with his horses. It was a wonderful experience to see city dogs running around in the lawn. After a hot spring bath, we had a peaceful sleep. Breakfast was a simple white porridge, eggs, and sweet potatoes, which was both very natural and delicious! Highly recommended!

Their genuine and friendly nature makes them feel like family and friends, providing a worry-free stay. 4. The restaurant's food is absolutely delicious. The most surprising thing was the restaurant on-site. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the home-style dishes were cooked to perfection, with a fresh and flavorful taste that rivaled any specialty restaurant. The breakfast was nutritious and comforting, and the main meals were plentiful and delicious. Even after several days of eating there, I didn't get tired of it. I highly recommend dining in. Overall, it's great value for money, and the dining and accommodation experience was top-notch. I would definitely choose this place again for my next trip and sincerely recommend it to everyone. The room was incredibly spacious and beautiful, and the hot spring pool was large and wonderfully relaxing. The hot spring water is natural; I called to ask why the water wasn't consistently hot, worried about wasting water by letting it run, and they told me, ”Don't worry about wasting it, let it run as much as you like! The water comes directly from the spring source!” 😂 The heating was excellent, to the point where I'd wake up from being too warm in the middle of the night, so there's no need to worry about being cold. The landlady was very kind, and the owner's braised beef was absolutely delicious! The surrounding scenery was beautiful, with views of snow-capped mountains, and there's also a Red Sea Lake about a 30-minute drive away. My only regret is that it didn't snow during this trip. An even bigger regret is that my partner suffered from some altitude sickness, so we had to stealthily check out in the early hours of the morning... We'll be back in a few days after taking some Rhodiola!

This guesthouse was the absolute best on our Western Sichuan Grand Loop trip. It's grand and luxurious, with various room types to suit different needs. Even during the holidays, they didn't jack up prices like guesthouses in Yading Village charging thousands a night. I was so satisfied, it completely exceeded my expectations! Honestly, I was disappointed with the Kangding scenic area. I came because of that famous song, but the maintenance and management of the attractions were the worst in all of Western Sichuan, even though the natural scenery is stunning. Just fifteen minutes after leaving the scenic area, we arrived at this hot spring hotel and were completely cured of our disappointment... The hot springs, the hotel's design, and the overall architecture are beyond five-star. Chatting with the owner later, I learned it was indeed a master-level design. As detail-oriented people, we lingered in every area, and every photo turned out amazing. It wasn't just for show; it was genuinely comfortable and relaxing. The service and hygiene were definite bonuses. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up! I immediately recommended it to everyone on my social media. The ******* owner, a native of the area, was very thoughtful and kind. From dinner to breakfast, he constantly checked if we were enjoying our food and personally demonstrated how to make ******* butter tea and sticky rice cakes. He even showed us his private collection of heirloom ******* clothing, which was a real treat. We will definitely be back, and I hope Ligou maintains its quality and has a prosperous business!

The room was quite clean, though there were a few neglected spots. It would be perfect if they could clean it more thoroughly. The underfloor heating was fantastic; after soaking in the hot spring, returning to the room felt like summer, completely unlike the sub-zero temperatures on the plateau—so warm and comfortable! The hot spring experience was also excellent. Although I didn't see the actual spring source, the feeling was just like the Ninety-Nine Mile Waterfall Hot Spring in Luoji Mountain. The best part was that I actually mastered the breathing technique for freestyle swimming in their large hot spring pool—I was thrilled! 😁 Their hotel is only a 26-minute drive from Honghaizi scenic area and just 15 minutes from Mugecuo. Both attractions are definitely worth visiting together! Next time, I'll also check out the nearby 'Wu Shi' for coffee. 😀🥳
