The lobby is tastefully decorated. The toiletries were Lelabo No. 33, which smelled wonderful!! Highly recommended!!

Our trip to Tagong, Western Sichuan, found its warmest surprise in the Kangding Tagong Pokhara Smart Manor. Located in Tagong Town, the manor perfectly blends the relaxed, rustic charm of the ******* plateau with a tastefully tidy courtyard and rooms. Our deluxe sunroom was exceptionally bright, offering breathtaking views of the clear highland sky and distant mountains right from the window. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable and soothing, completely melting away the fatigue of our long road trip. What truly touched us was the genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. Every evening, they thoughtfully delivered warm milk, chasing away the chill of the highland nights. On one occasion, returning to the manor after being caught in the rain, the owner immediately brought us freshly brewed ginger tea, its warmth spreading from our tongues throughout our bodies. These thoughtful details, more than any luxurious amenities, truly resonated with us. This is far more than just a place to stay; it's a welcoming haven on our Western Sichuan journey. Should I ever return to Tagong, I will undoubtedly stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler venturing into this beautiful wilderness.

We stayed at the leisurely B&B during our self-driving trip to Western Sichuan. The location was perfectly chosen, very convenient when coming from Jiagenba, and made for an easy trip to Tagong and Gulong Village the next day. It saved us a lot of hassle for our travels. The overall decor is modern and minimalist, clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The value for money is truly excellent, affordable and pleasant. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, providing a great experience throughout. What truly stood out were the thoughtful details. Both the toilet and shower were equipped with grab bars, showing care for guests who might feel unwell at high altitudes and be prone to falling – a truly heartwarming touch. The room featured a full-house diffused oxygen supply, not just a separate oxygen concentrator, which was very effective in alleviating altitude sickness. Combined with the full-house floor heating, it made for a warm and comfortable night in the high-altitude region. The super-large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view. We could admire the continuous mountain scenery without even leaving the room. The expansive view and beautiful scenery made every photo a great shot. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing a top-notch living experience. Our overall stay exceeded expectations. Convenient travel, comfortable environment, thoughtful details, and unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Xinduqiao, and I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Western Sichuan!

We were driving from Tagong Grassland to Xinduqiao when we spotted this really unique hotel! ☺️ We immediately pulled over to check it out. The price was right, so we booked it online on the spot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and super nice. She showed us a couple of rooms 😆 and the views from both were stunning. My sister ended up choosing the room with the curved balcony. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. My Apple Watch even showed my sleep quality score as 90! That night, it snowed – experiencing all four seasons in one day on the plateau is no exaggeration! The room had underfloor heating, so it was warm and not dry at all. For breakfast, my favorites were the steamed dumplings and the tremella soup. Just look at the pictures for the comparison! 😘 Snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, prayer flags, and meadows were all within sight. We even encountered some falling snow along the way – that's the ultimate romance unique to western Sichuan. Encountering the most breathtaking scenery in the shortest amount of time. The facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel environment is excellent, clean and elegant. The overall design is ingenious, and the room furnishings are particularly unique. Every detail reveals careful planning, and the rooms are fully equipped, with the addition of the Xiaodu smart assistant adding a touch of modernity. The mattress and memory foam pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the room was well-nourished, completely eliminating altitude sickness and allowing us to sleep soundly through the night. Regarding service, as soon as our vehicle arrived, the staff warmly approached to inquire if we needed any assistance with our luggage and proactively helped with carrying it. Before our official check-in, they also meticulously guided us through the different room types. Considering we were traveling with children, the owner kindly upgraded us free of charge. After check-in, the staff served a delicate afternoon tea, which we enjoyed in our room while admiring the view outside the window – a truly relaxing and pleasant experience. The owner even led the children in a ******* incense-making experience, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. It's worth mentioning the soaking tub in the room. When the children wanted to enjoy it, we spontaneously suggested creating a special atmosphere. Although we hadn't prepared beforehand, the owners acted quickly, cleaning and disinfecting the ball pit and carefully arranging it with beautiful roses from their own garden, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. When one of our children accidentally cut their finger, the hotel staff immediately provided first aid, including disinfection and bandaging, and accompanied us to a nearby pharmacy for proper treatment, making us feel very cared for. The breakfast was equally exquisite and delicious. Every dish reflected the chef's care and enthusiasm, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Most amazing place to be in Kangding ! The view is awesome, the villa is very classy with a stunning view. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Kangding.

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

Yema Haizi is the first choice for accommodation. It is very suitable for self-driving. It only takes 20-30 minutes to get there by car. The location is very convenient. The hotel environment is comfortable and elegant. There are electric blankets, so you don't have to worry about the cold.
