PPockyBackpackThis hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

GGuest UserJust got back from Xinduqiao, and while the memory's still fresh, I absolutely have to rave about this unexpected gem we stumbled upon. Honestly, by the time we reached Xinduqiao, I was pretty tired and didn't have high expectations for accommodation; I just wanted a decent night's sleep. But this place gave me quite a few pleasant surprises. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was how 'un-highland-like warm' it was. The underfloor heating was cranked up, and walking barefoot felt incredibly comfortable. There was a free oxygen diffuser running, almost silently, and indeed, it was the soundest sleep I'd had since arriving at altitude. No headaches, and I woke up feeling completely refreshed. My room had a window with an excellent view, and the scenery was truly breathtaking – nestled by mountains and a river. In the evening, I just curled up on the sofa in my room, doing nothing but watching the mountains and clouds outside slowly change colors, from golden to pinkish-purple, eventually darkening as stars began to twinkle one by one. In that moment, all the driving I'd done that day felt absolutely worth it. The hotel's common areas were also quite interesting. The coffee bar and screening area were connected and designed with an open feel. I ordered a drink here one evening and chatted with some fellow travelers I'd met on the road; the atmosphere was very relaxed. I only realized it was pet-friendly when I saw other guests with their dogs – one dog was quietly lounging on the terrace, enjoying the view, which was quite heartwarming. The staff didn't feel like 'hotel employees'; they were more like friends helping you out. I casually asked where the best spot for sunrise was, and the guy not only gave detailed directions but also showed me photos he'd taken on his phone and offered time recommendations. If I had to pick a flaw, since the hotel is newly opened, you can still see a few signs of it being fresh and not fully 'broken in,' but it's nothing major. Breakfast is a simple set menu, but a steaming bowl of rice noodles hit the spot perfectly. For those driving, parking is very convenient. Overall, it doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like a warm haven that understands both the plateau and its travelers. If you're passing through Xinduqiao and looking for a comfortable and good-value place to stay, this one is definitely worth considering.

KKoHKxxThis is a fantastic hotel run by tibetans in Tagong! The location is less than 10 min walk from Tagong gompa where public buses and shared taxis are available. Between the gompa and the hotel, you can find some ******* or Sichuan restaurants. The facility is quite decent and well maintained. Especially, ******* decoration is awesome. Also, staff members are quite helpful. Though they don't speak English, they took care of me ranging from transportation to food.

GGuest UserI came to western Sichuan to take wedding photos. When I saw the pictures, I felt that they were very suitable for me, so I booked it immediately. Shortly after landing in Chengdu, the lady called me to ask if I needed to reserve dinner. I felt the warm service before I checked in. After a day of shooting, the altitude sickness was a bit serious. When I returned to the hotel, the lady helped us prepare sugar and salt water. It really felt like returning home. Here, the key point is: for a journey dominated by natural scenery, it is really too important to live comfortably. The basic configuration of Tingshan impressed me the most. 1️⃣ The room temperature is suitable 2️⃣ The shower water pressure is very sufficient 3️⃣ The pillow is super comfortable But what impressed me the most was the lovely people. Whether it was the boss or the store manager, they were all very warm and warm. I look forward to coming again in the summer, and everyone will sing, drink and BBQ in the yard together! Goodbye Kangding, come to Tingshan next time🏔️

They escorted me to my room, showed me how to turn on the underfloor heating, and even turned on the waterfall-style oxygen supply and the humidifier! I just came down from Yuzixi and was browsing on Ctrip while eating. I saw a designer art hotel that looked interesting, so I compared several options and finally chose this one. I didn't make the wrong choice! They really guided me to my room step-by-step. When I told them I didn't have altitude sickness and didn't need the oxygen supply, they said, ”It's fine, just leave it on!” The next day there was a ******* costume experience, a coffee shop, free breakfast, etc. I thought the cleanliness was generally okay. The interior design is really stylish; apparently, the owner recommended everything. The coffee shop has a second floor, and on a sunny day, it was so comfortable to sunbathe there. Location: Xinduqiao Youran Muyun Designer Art Hotel. It's best to book in advance; I didn't book, and it took some time to coordinate.

GGuest UserI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
