They really go above and beyond to accommodate requests. The service is excellent! The staff even helped with our luggage. And the hotel breakfast was delicious, with picturesque views!

XXiangshuiyouzhentouOur trip to Tagong, Western Sichuan, found its warmest surprise in the Kangding Tagong Pokhara Smart Manor. Located in Tagong Town, the manor perfectly blends the relaxed, rustic charm of the ******* plateau with a tastefully tidy courtyard and rooms. Our deluxe sunroom was exceptionally bright, offering breathtaking views of the clear highland sky and distant mountains right from the window. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable and soothing, completely melting away the fatigue of our long road trip. What truly touched us was the genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. Every evening, they thoughtfully delivered warm milk, chasing away the chill of the highland nights. On one occasion, returning to the manor after being caught in the rain, the owner immediately brought us freshly brewed ginger tea, its warmth spreading from our tongues throughout our bodies. These thoughtful details, more than any luxurious amenities, truly resonated with us. This is far more than just a place to stay; it's a welcoming haven on our Western Sichuan journey. Should I ever return to Tagong, I will undoubtedly stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler venturing into this beautiful wilderness.

DDuan Dawsonn⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our stay in Xinduqiao was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the kindness and hospitality of the hotel owners. As we are very careful about the food we eat, we could not simply eat outside. We bought our own cooking ingredients and asked if we could store them in the hotel’s refrigerator. The owners were very understanding and allowed us to use their fridge throughout our stay. Whenever we needed our food items, we could easily take them out and put them back again. We also asked if we could use their washing machine, and they happily accommodated our request. Having these important facilities available made us feel very comfortable, and because of that, we extended our stay by almost five more days. On our first day, we faced difficulty finding public transportation. We ended up walking nearly 3 km away from the hotel and still could not find any transport to return. After informing the owner, she immediately offered to pick us up. We were deeply touched by her kindness and willingness to drive such a long distance just to help us get back safely. As we wanted to explore the surrounding attractions, we also asked the owner if she could help us find a motorcycle for rent. She managed to arrange one for us. We originally planned to rent it for only one day, but because everything was so convenient and comfortable, we extended the rental to three days. When it was time to return to Chengdu, we needed help arranging transportation. Once again, the owner went above and beyond. She woke up early in the morning and, at 6:00 AM, personally sent us to the main road so we could catch our transport. This hotel is run by a wonderful family. Throughout our stay, they treated us not as strangers, but as part of their family. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. We truly hope to return again in the future. I promise that I will bring many more travellers and hikers from my country to stay here and experience the same amazing hospitality. GGuest UserExcellent. The room was clean, and the service was good. Oxygen was available 24 hours a day and could be diffused. The location was very convenient, just a two-minute walk to Tagong Monastery! There were various shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities were new, and the shower even had an overhead shower (although you can't shower for the first few days after arriving at high altitude).

GGuest UserI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

GGuest UserThe lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

GGuest UserSuch a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
