GGuanguantabaHere are a few complaints about the hotel: 1. The bathroom was cramped; it was difficult to even turn around. 2. The toilet looked like a smart toilet, but the seat was ice-cold, making my bottom feel chilly, especially in the freezing weather outside. 3. There was no underfloor heating in the bathroom; my feet were freezing. 4. The room was advertised as 50 square meters, but in my opinion, it was just cramped. 5. Dinner options were limited; the 368 RMB yak hotpot was just so-so. 6. The most unbearable thing was the breakfast. For a room costing 1400 RMB, all you gave a guest was a bowl of noodles? A child got a bowl of porridge, and that was it? We waited 40 minutes for breakfast! The next day, we went to the Ji Hotel in Shangri-La Town, a chain hotel costing just over 400 RMB, and the food there was far superior. In conclusion: aside from the scenery, everything else was unsatisfactory; it wasn't worth the 1400 RMB price tag.

The location is less than 10 min walk from Tagong gompa where public buses and shared taxis are available. Between the gompa and the hotel, you can find some ******* or Sichuan restaurants.
The facility is quite decent and well maintained. Especially, ******* decoration is awesome.
Also, staff members are quite helpful. Though they don't speak English, they took care of me ranging from transportation to food.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent and convenient—just a one-minute walk to Liuliu City. They even recommended many delicious restaurants to us, and we didn't miss out on any of them! The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, the breakfast was plentiful, and staff arranged parking as soon as we arrived at the door. Overall, it was a great experience!

The service was top-notch; from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm, attentive, and always eager to help. Hygiene was impeccable, with both the rooms and public areas being spotlessly clean. The parking lot was spacious and convenient, and the breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. I felt incredibly comfortable throughout my stay, and all my travel fatigue vanished. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

GGuest UserI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

The store provides pick-up and drop-off services, which is very considerate! Children like the small playground in the hotel very much. There is a book bar on it where you can read books. The breakfast area is very beautiful, opposite the mountain. It feels great to have breakfast among the hydrangeas and mountain clouds!

The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. GGuest UserSuch a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
