Perfect
This hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

The hotel is conveniently located, a 5-minute walk from the Intercity Hotel on Jiangjunqiao Road to YeKe Hotel. Guesthouses in Baitou Village are better suited for those driving, but public transportation is also available; taxis are easily accessible from Jiangjunqiao. The basic room is 33 square meters, a standard size. Newly opened in 2025, the facilities are quite new, and there's an elevator. Breakfast and afternoon tea are included, but we didn't have time for afternoon tea due to our late arrival. Breakfast was simple, but the rice noodles cooked by the auntie were very fragrant; you can add your own seasonings and toppings. Overall, it's very good value for money. 👍

I booked this family room for our 3 drivers and they have fun staying in it. We were staying in the same hotel and I have booked another 4 rooms for the 8 of us. Room was clean and.big. Breakfast selection was sufficient.

This place wasn't facing the main road, so it was very quiet. The room and the view from the room were absolutely beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. There were restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. We couldn't quite capture the view of the snow mountains during the sunset from our room with our cheap phones, but the actual view was really pretty. There was floor heating and an electric blanket as well. Hot water was plentiful and with good pressure. We had a rental car and there were plenty of parking spaces. It was pretty unbelievable that the place was at this price. It was the best place that we've stayed in our 2-week trip by far and also the most affordable. The owner of the place is a local Tibetan who used to live in Dharamsala and speaks fluent English. Unfortunately, we had to leave early to return our rental car and catch our flight, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
