"Traveling with my parents and family, the five of us stayed in a three-bedroom lake view suite in Building 3. Overall, it was a great experience. The balcony was huge, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side – it rained for a day and a half out of the two nights we stayed. However, it did give us a taste of the misty江南 (Jiangnan) feel. If I had to pick out some cons, it's that the rooms are over a decade old, so the furniture is a bit dated, and the chair in the master bedroom wasn't very comfortable. The shower water temperature was also a bit inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, though that's less of an issue in summer. All in all, both my parents and the kids were very satisfied. The hotel service was also good; our requests were met, and the shuttle bus was quick to respond. We even received a small local specialty gift upon check-out. The independent restaurant outside Building 3 also served good food. Everyone was happy with this trip, apart from the weather."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic and high-end! I finally received the photos from Deep Blue Travel Photography, and I just have to give them a five-star review! From the initial consultation to the actual shoot, the entire process was professional and efficient. The photographer was excellent at guiding us, making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. The resulting photos are not only storytelling but also very natural; we were already surprised by how good the raw shots looked. The photo selection process had no sales pressure whatsoever, and they fully respected our preferences throughout, which made for a great experience. The turnaround for the final photos was quick, and we're very happy with the retouched results. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to capture their travels or special moments!"

"A hidden gem! Before arrival, the butler had already reached out about a room upgrade and even helped receive my mom's wheelchair battery – it really felt like coming home. The hotel itself is small but beautiful, with a rustic charm. Every detail reflects the owner's care and taste, and there are delightful surprises everywhere, including many intangible cultural heritage elements. My favorite was the Badu Flax Embroidery workshop. The whole hotel feels harmonious and elegant, well-maintained, and full of life. The little fish in the welcome hall pond would follow us, and the peacocks and small squirrels outside were very friendly. During our three-day stay, the staff were polite and always willing to help. Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back if we get the chance. ♥️"

"The hotel is quite new, with a simple yet stylish and elegant design. The room was very clean, and rainy weather didn't spoil the beautiful view – Tianyu Mountain is right across. Waking up to rain, a walk along the lake from the hotel was still lovely. The expansive lake view is incredibly therapeutic. There's also a children's slide nearby, which my little one loved. Breakfast was good too, with a wide variety of options, and the freshly prepared wontons were excellent. Service was also very good. I'll definitely come back to experience the outdoor pool next time!"

"My stay at voco Shimao Sunshine Lake Resort Qiandao Lake was absolutely perfect! The hotel is situated on a peninsula, offering an elegant and tranquil environment. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the attention to hygiene details was impeccable. The direct, first-line lake view of Qiandao Lake is breathtaking – the water and sky merge into one, creating an expansive and unbeatable vista. There are amazing viewing spots everywhere. A special shout-out to the hotel's innovative travel photography service. The photographer was incredibly professional, excellent at finding the right angles and guiding poses. They even managed to capture stunning, high-quality shots against the light, preserving so many wonderful moments. All the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, treating guests with warmth and courtesy. The entire experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Qiandao Lake, highly recommended!"

"This trip, I was traveling with my elderly parents and my child. After a lot of comparison, I chose the Hilton, and it proved to be the right decision! Our stay in Qiandao Lake was made even more warm and comfortable thanks to the enthusiastic service from our butler, Luby. This lovely young lady helped us with restaurant recommendations, gave us an overview of the water park, and even booked our buffet seats. On the morning of check-out, we had to rush for our train and couldn't have breakfast, so she packed us a simple breakfast to eat on the way. She truly was incredibly accommodating! The hotel's hygiene was excellent, and the environment was grand. Overall, this vacation felt fantastic! I was also very happy with the hotel's travel photography."

"After 10 years, I drove back to Qiandao Lake again. From the moment I drove into the hotel, I noticed the fantastic greenery, and the high negative oxygen ion content. Once I arrived, I found the entire peninsula was like a botanical garden. The underground parking was very convenient, with Tesla slow chargers and State Grid charging stations. The hotel grounds are huge, and they upgraded my room type. After checking in and getting back to my room, I caught a beautiful sunset. The room was over 50 square meters with a balcony, and the wooden decor made it feel very comfortable. The two-story outdoor infinity pool faces the lake, with views comparable to a beachfront hotel. The public areas like the gym, walking trails, and tennis courts are also great. There are tons of kids' activities; my 8-year-old daughter made new friends at the kids' club and played for ages. We even bumped into them at breakfast the next day and chatted for a while. Oh, and the breakfast was excellent too!"

"Traveling with family, I booked one standard room and one king room, on different floors. Both were originally balcony rooms, but the front desk said they upgraded us. However, the standard room was changed to one without a balcony, only adding a bathtub, and it was still on a different floor. I felt it wasn't worth the change. The king room with a balcony had a great view, where you could see the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Our butler, Zhang, was also very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!"
