"Recommended!!! The front desk staffs no 05 & 59 are super good service. The hotel location is right next to the mall, which is extremely convenient. They offer free hot oat soup and hot milk at night and complimentary shuttle service to the train station. The breakfast selection is varied and very delicious. I love this hotel service. "Had a great experience! 👍 The room was clean and tidy, and there's a food street about a ten-minute walk away. Watching the World Cup and having skewers there at night was a fantastic experience. The security guards at the hotel entrance were very responsible; they'd arrange parking for you as soon as you drove up, so no worries about parking at all. If I had to mention a downside, the breakfast was just okay. The milk dispenser tap in the buffet restaurant was broken, so it took forever to get a glass of milk. 😓"

"I like the lobby amenities. They have coffee mahcine, soya bean deink, fridge, table, working table with plugs available. Location is near the Datang food street. The room looks very new, they have a fancy intercom to contact the reception. They provided Laifen hairdryer which is good quality. Rooms are generally clean but i think the cleaner forgot to clear the lump of hair at the shower. One thing i dont like, they provide disposable towels which are very thin and flimsy. Maybe its for hygiene purpose but its not nice to use. Walking to the room is like a maze, they have long corridors and many turns. I counted, i turned corner 8 times to reach my room 😅 not a big problem but if you carry alot of big bags, it might get tiring, depending how far your room is."

"A single painting instantly brought warmth to the entire room – a masterpiece by the owner, truly! The three-cannister tea set and the foot bath infused with medicinal herbs were such thoughtful touches. After seeing the impressive fortress, it was so relaxing to sip tea and soak my feet. The young lady (staff member) was absolutely fantastic! She's a strongwoman (helped with luggage) and an excellent guide (showed us a shortcut to the scenic area). Make sure you leave time for breakfast – it's colorful, flavorful, nutritious, and delicious! Did you see the cute little bunny on the egg? It made my whole day! 😸❤ Having such a great employee, you, the owner, must be secretly thrilled. Oh, and by the way, the wild mushroom and free-range chicken soup she recommended (at Changchun Garden) was incredibly delicious!"

The room was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Upon my arrival, the lady at the front desk thoughtfully offered me skin moisturizer, knowing how dry the weather is in this region. Before I checked out, this morning when I check out, she also provided several bottles of water and wet tissues, reminding me to take care of myself in the dry climate. The security uncle were equally helpful. When I was looking for coffee, he went out of his way to switch on the coffee machine and assist me without hesitation. What separates a good hotel chain from a great one is not just the quality of the rooms or facilities, it is the people. The genuine care, kindness, and attentiveness of the staff made my stay memorable and left a lasting impression.

Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

The hotel's location is quite good, being close to the Great Wall tourist area. Since it's a suite, the room hygiene is good, and it has its own private parking lot. However, during peak season, you might have to rush for a spot, and there doesn't seem to be any security management in the lot, leading to some haphazard parking. The breakfast is excellent; it's small but has everything you need. The front desk service is also good, and food deliveries can come directly into the hotel. The audio-visual room is fantastic, with a particularly large projector and screen.

Lots of good things to say about this older property. First of all its amazing location in the bustling part of town with shops, restaurants, a market and street food stands nearby. The beds are kept up to date with excellent mattresses and crisp clean linens. The housekeeping is excellent and the rooms have full amenities. Unfortunately rooms in building 2 have a fair bit of issues with the air-conditioning system, plumbing and the toilets. We moved rooms 3 times during our day of check in. The hotel dealt with the issues professionally as expected from a four star property and in the end I have nothing but praise about my five days stay here. Finally for those that come with their own car, the parking lot is huge. Even if every guest in the hotel would show up with their own car it will never be full. The Jiayuguan Hotel in Jiayuguan is definitely an excellent choice of stay. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Traveling independently, I chose the Ibis hotel closest to Jiayuguan train station. The room was great! Even though we arrived in the early hours, the staff were considerate and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Thumbs up!

It was my first time to Jiayuguan. My main itinerary was to visit Fantawild. Accommodation was the most important thing. I looked at many homestays online before coming and was attracted by the environment of this small courtyard. The small courtyard is very close to Fantawild, and the shuttle bus to the park is right at the door of the homestay. After moving into the small courtyard, the boss and his family were very kind and took the initiative to introduce the surrounding environment. It was like living in a relative's yard. I originally booked one day, and then extended my stay for two days. It was relatively comfortable, quiet and convenient overall. I will choose to stay here next time.

Good location. The bodyguard was very nice when he introduced us the best local restaurant. He also followed us to show us the way to go there. Only one comment that we booked non-smoking rooms but the hotel gave us the smoking room so the smell was not so good. Please check customers’s request at the check-in time.

Great location near the lake, an easy drive to the three major Great Wall attractions and the food street is just a block away with some amazing restaurants, bars and even an 8 ball hall. The staff at the hotel were great and very attentive, especially with breakfast. Beef noodles were a great start to the day and the chef makes the hand-stretched noodles in front of you. The hotel manager had his honey moon in Australia and took time to introduce himself and make us feel welcome. Free easy parking underneath too. Rooms were clean with a good view. If we come back this way we will stay here again!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right beside the Jiayuguan Scenic Area Tourist Service Centre and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. The most beautiful aspect of the property is its surroundings. It feels like a charming cottage with a historical touch, yet it offers all the modern amenities one could need. The service is also excellent, with everything taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently. The staff even arranged a drop-off to the Jiayuguan section of the Great Wall, which was greatly appreciated. One simply has to stay at this place for the experience alone.
