"This was my first time in Lhasa with three elderly family members. The hotel's facilities were quite complete, and although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained. The service was warm and friendly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. When we arrived, the staff at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage. Yesterday, one of the seniors experienced some altitude sickness, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk attendant kindly provided an oxygen tank, which effectively alleviated their symptoms. I was so busy looking after them that I forgot to take any pictures of the hotel."

The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers throughout – a godsend for those worried about altitude sickness. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation and even a Dyson hairdryer, showing great attention to detail. The 6th-floor rooftop restaurant offers a prime viewing spot, and seeing the golden roof of the Potala Palace in the morning and evening is breathtaking. "Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled.
What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. "The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, nestled right between Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. You can walk to all the main attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk service was wonderfully warm and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, they presented us with a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf) and offered hot towels and Rhodiola tea, which was very thoughtful and attentive. The staff proactively helped with our luggage and patiently explained how to use the in-room oxygen equipment. The hotel itself is clean and elegant, and our room was spacious and spotless. The excellent oxygen facilities really helped alleviate any altitude sickness, ensuring we slept soundly every night. The hotel even thoughtfully gifted us some local specialty snacks, showing their sincerity in every detail. Overall, the stay was exceptional. I highly recommend it for its environment, service, and value for money."

"When I came to Tibet, I stayed in a Tibetan-style hotel. The decoration of the hotel was very Tibetan-style. The room and the bathroom inside were very clean and tidy. You can see the day and night view of the Potala Palace and the sunrise from the rooftop on the fifth floor. The breakfast on the fifth floor was very nice. , the food is simple but delicious.
The reception staff are very polite and speak fluent Mandarin and English. The staff help solve various problems in Tibet, including taking a day tour, taking a taxi, transportation, shopping, luggage storage, moving luggage, etc."

"This is a very happy and rewarding trip. At the beginning, I didn’t live here and booked another hotel with my friends, but there were some episodes. I chose Danyu Linshe. I met the cute Douji considerate store manager Doudou Sunshine Boy Xiao Yang. Gentle work. So's Gesang Ajia We spent a very pleasant five days together. This is my most precious memory. The internal environment of the hotel is very good. There are many green plants. There is sunshine. The roof is Danjielin Temple. My room is big and bright. The linen is very comfortable. It is a high-quality home in log color. The whole is very elegant. Very close to Barkhor Street of Jokhang Temple. In the core area, this one also has a high-end ethnic costume shooting. My experience is very good. I will leave and I will not forget the story that happened here."

NNeko CI love this hotel. Staff were very friendly and caring. Due to high altitude sickness I wanted to buy Pocari Sweat on Mei Tuan but didn't have a local phone number to place the order, the ladies at the front desk helped me out. They also upgraded me to a room with the view of the Potala Palace. The room is nice, clean and spacious with oxygen supply and lots of bottled water provided. There is a big shopping mall 300 meters away (about 10-15 minutes walk) which you can find restaurants there. Free laundry service is a big plus as I spent 6 nights in this hotel. I feel the price is absolutely worth it for the customer service they provided, and I would love to try the hotels under this chain (Hilton) next time when I travel to other cities in the future.

GGuest UserFacilities: The room type was very spacious, I booked a two-bed room this time. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the facilities were a bit old, and there was some water leakage. Room service was prompt.
Minibar: Good.
24-hour oxygen supply service: This was very important, especially the 24-hour medical room. Due to severe altitude sickness for the first few days, I spent most of my time in the medical room. Only after taking medication and receiving oxygen could I manage to walk around a bit outside.
Cleanliness: Acceptable, and the turndown service was also good.
Environment: This is arguably the best in Lhasa. After staying one day elsewhere, I spent the remaining days at The St. Regis. During my stay in Lhasa, I mostly dined and engaged in activities at the hotel. The room layout was very well-proportioned, and maintenance was decent. Afternoon tea was just okay, but the Western restaurant had excellent food, and the sweet tea was the best.
Service: The butler, Tina, was excellent. Her service was attentive throughout, and I was very satisfied. Next time I visit Lhasa, I definitely won't choose any other hotel. She even proactively checked in on my well-being.

Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

Tsering, Yuzhen, and Kelsang were all fantastic! There were other staff members whose names I didn't catch, but I'll make sure to get to know them all next time! I was so happy to stay here. The location is also perfect – super convenient for Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, taxis, deliveries, and takeout. Everything was just perfect!

She patiently explained precautions for high altitude and showed genuine care for altitude sickness. Her service was meticulous throughout. Thanks to Dawa Tsering and Tenzin Thongyul from the concierge team for proactively helping with luggage and enthusiastically guiding us with directions. Their service was professional and reliable. The warm service includes an in-house medical room. If guests feel unwell, they can pay for oxygen or an IV drip, which is quite convenient and helps alleviate travel fatigue and altitude sickness.

Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
